I think kabam jailed me. Man they are sensitive. Literally spent a ton on this game and asked for 2 victory shields back since the game froze and the response I got was to get lost.
I know this isn’t the correct forum but is there a forum for people who are treated poorly by kabam staff members.
@Grub88 That actually does make sense about the consumer laws. I just never had to do that with rise of kingdoms or other games.
I should have made it clearer in my post when I said I can’t complain to them here, meaning this forum, where should I complain or find a customer service person. Is there a specific forum where I won’t get “jailed” for asking questions?
Since kabam customer service keeps escalating their rudeness I’ve decided to stop playing. Looking to sell my account pretty cheap if anyone is interested. My in game name is JaY0713. Hero power of 6,195,400 account.
Spoilers: they won't give it back. Besides that, firstly: this is the correct forum. You are in the incorrect thread. Please use your brain for 1 minute to see how the forum is structured.

How in the world do you have an account that large and yet go this ballistic over 2 victory shields?
You've made several claims about speaking to customer service, so why are you confused about unproductive complaining on a completely unrelated thread to fellow players and not Kabam employees? Continue to speak to the official customer support, be reasonable, and you won't "get jailed". Unfortunately, you weren't "just asking questions", neither will escalating any misunderstanding like this tend to get you what you want in life.
I didn't want to further derail the thread but man, this was a weird rabbit hole.
As someone who optimistically would have had fun doing this but will never have the time, how long do you spend each day on this?
Just had a look at my screen time and I would approximate around 8hrs per day (shows a bit higher, but also login daily to my main account to keep it maintained). It is a lot of time but I rarely play for long period straight through, it’s usually with lots of breaks and in between usual day to day stuff.
What masteries do you prioritize when you do these speedruns?
Good question, answer is a bit more complicated than just “get x mastery first.”
What I usually start off with is getting max wisdom (xp mastery in proficiency tab), as this gives a lot of extra xp early doors and helps me level up faster for more mastery points, free energy etc. Then I get parry and dex, but after that I keep my points pretty balanced in attack and defence and usually keep some points back. A big help in these challenges is the weekly we store crystals as you can get mastery cores for free. For example, from the set of 3 crystals we got from the discord server, I managed to get the core selector, and took 2 stony cores. I know, this is worth less than the carbonadium in terms of units, but it’s much more valuable for me. It lets me unlock pierce for free, which then lets me get 5 points into both precision and cruelty also for free instead of spending on cores.
If I get another mastery selector, I’ll likely take a carbonadium and put 1 level in willpower, so it’s really about looking at what mastery you would like/need the most and what cores it needs
Before I dive into the recap, massive shoutout to @Badah for inviting me to his alliance so that I’m able to benefit from some additional glory from aq.
So I didn’t know how much I was gonna get done today, and decided on thronebreaker being an achievable goal. We ended last time in 7.2.3, so here we go:
7.2.4 (Vision lane) 0 revives, quite a nice node for Kate and magneto with the superiority nodes going in their favours 7.2.5 (Miles Morales lane) 0 revives, Kate + power shield again, but the platpool boss was an absolute slog with Steve, took around 400 hits 7.2.6 (Superior Iron man lane) 1 revive, Should have been non really, did a few slip ups that cost me champs
Then it was the Gwenmaster boss. I started with Steve and got through the 1st 3 phases pretty well, and then it was onto the mystic phase. For those who don’t know/can’t remember, basically for this phase you need to knock her down with 4 different attacks (aka heavy, sp1,sp2 and sp3). Problem I didn’t realise, Steve doesn’t have an sp3 😂. So I had to let him die and cleaned up with other champs, no additional revives.
Act 7.2 exploration bundle popped up, which I picked up, 460 units is almost theft.
7.3.1 (Wolverine X-23 lane) 0 revives, this is quite a nice starting quest, get 2 or 3 dashes in a row with Kate and coldsnap deals bonkers damage and nukes defenders 7.3.2 (Omega Red lane) 0 revives, path is quite annoying but once you get the Paradox charges up it’s relatively fine. Old Man Logan boss was another slog, around 250 hits. 7.3.3 (Quake lane) 1 revive, cheelith went absolute beast mode here, the path is do you bleed, and even at 6* r1 she starting cutting through opponents with the paradox charges up 7.3.4 (Void lane) 3 revives, I think the tiredness hit me here cause I was doing some sloppy and risky stuff, but still wasn’t too horrible 7.3.5 (Purgatory lane) 1 revive, this is a pretty tricky lane to keep nailed down, so I thought I did pretty well, sad that they put heal block on the node so you can’t get any healing back 7.3.6 (Luke Cage lane) 0 revives, this is an easy path, and leaves Kang in his basic form which is good
So 7.3 Kang. You may see in the video that I started having a few connection issues, and my Wi-Fi randomly completely dropped out for 30 mins mid fight. Great 🙃. Overall though this boss went fine, Red hulk was doing some nasty damage during his wounded phases, and decided to utilise Chavez reversing power gain to finish the job. Overall, 1 team revive was fine by me cause I still have lots of them.
7.3 exploration deal was also sub 500 units, so I am gonna pick it up on day 7 when I know what t5cc I want.
But, 7.3 gave me a reward bigger than anything in completion. Thronebreaker! I had been grabbing tech t5cc wherever possible and this formed the catalyst, letting me take guardian to r3. Thronebreaker is a massive progression title for one main reason: Shooting Stars Quest. This quest has so much iso that you can select for whatever class you want, and that is the only resource I need to take a lot of champs up to higher ranks. So to finish the day out I decided to do the first 4 quests of shooting stars (no real difficulties, but gorr is a major annoyance), and grab a load of iso to do some rankups:
Guardian, r3 lvl 45 Cheelith r2 lvl 33 (I’ll get the last bit from 7.4.2) Chavez r2 lvl 35
Compared to r1 lvl 1, this is a massive boost to help me into act 8, and I also plan to r5 Kate tomorrow too. From tomorrow it’s simply go as far as possible, there’s no set goal really as I go into act 8.
Upload from today, Gwenmaster and Kang bosses, as well as the opening after 7.3 and ranking guardian to end it.

I don't want to derail the thread, so I'm only going to address this once and then move on.
The official forums are for players to discuss the game between each other, with some interaction with the Kabam staff. It is not a place to discuss complaints about support. If you wish to air grievances regarding customer support, you have two choices. You can open a support ticket to discuss those with the Kabam support team, or you can seek an unofficial platform such as the reddit.
I don't know why you are being jailed, but you are not being jailed for "asking questions." Nobody gets jailed for asking questions. You're probably getting jailed for deciding that your complaints are more important than anyone else's concerns and decided to start spamming your complaints in other threads. I don't know if you think you're being clever or this is what passes for bravado where you come from, but its obnoxious.
Good luck selling your account. Doing so is a violation of terms of service, and oh by the way there are developers whose job it is to police fair play actually watching this thread. And just in case they skipped over your post or it gets edited at some point, I'm screenshotting it and forwarding it to them for reference. The account is getting banned the instant it changes hands, so I would advise anyone within reach of this post to pass the word to stay away from it.
But, 7.3 gave me a reward bigger than anything in completion. Thronebreaker! I had been grabbing tech t5cc wherever possible and this formed the catalyst, letting me take guardian to r3. v=05hMjy7kKXk
This will be cool. If you get valiant before me I’m quitting the game lol. I’m currently paragon. I’m on 8.2.3 and have 1 r3 7*. None of my act 8 is 100%. I do have 1 run in necro. I’m slowing working my way. Good luck on the speed run. 👊🏽
Haha don’t quit if I get there first. My main account is valiant, I’ve 100% necro and act 8, so I know what I’m doing in those bits of content. I realise this isn’t a normal thing to do, but speedrunning things is something I’m decently good at.

No I wouldn’t quit. I was being funny. You are extremely good though man. It’s rad to see someone run through content like this especially with champs in your current roster. That actually blows my mind. Your champs aren’t even maxed out and you’re killing it. How do you do it lol
I'm Paragon on act 8.2.5 rn, been playing for 3 years. This guy is gonna beat me to Valiant by 1065 days 😂
Same… I’m paragon and I have huge roster. And this dudes roster on that account doesn’t compare to mine and yet he is still blowing me out the water. Dude is seriously an Mcoc bad a$$. I got mad respect for him.
@Cantona59 no need to thank, we’re glad to help. We play for fun, not too worried about being competitive, so we can have your account without any worries.
I already subscribed to your YouTube channel, it’s so amazing to see you destroy content with such a roster.
PS: any team willing to offer you more than the 4K glory/week and gold5 rewards, please be aware of the transfer fee of this GOAT: 1 loyalty + 1 premium hero crystal, paid directly to my mcoc account

This thread could be retitled “Cantona destroys the contest with Steve and Kate.” The stuff you are doing is insane. 7.3 done and thronebreaker in 6 days! Congrats.
This is engrossing, but I do have a question. How do you have so much time to play and recap like this? It's a huge time commitment not only to speedrun, but to do these updates.
Without going too much into detail about my personal life, but it’s because I’m a University Student currently on my Easter Break. I do work part time whilst at home but it’s not tons of hours (usually between 12-16 a week).
@Cantona59 how much time are you spending per day on this?
Honestly 95% of the time is on actually playing, so around 8 hours based on screen time. Making the recaps here and the YouTube videos are very simple, for example for YouTube I just use an app to combine videos and then overlay some music and add an effect to switch between parts, then send it for upload.
Where do I talk to anyone about costumer service. I guess I can’t complain here since I got warned last time. Is there a forum for people getting ripped off? I tried talking to customer service and they wouldn’t listen. When a product of theirs doesn’t work and you ask for a refund customer service just says “no we aren’t doing that.” Maybe I got a grumpy customer service guy…. anywho. Also why do I have to state my location when submitting a ticket? These are legit questions. I’ve spent a bunch of money on this game and asked for 2 victory shields. Also night crawler is bugged but don’t ask about that they seemed little sensitive.
Seeing a 1* Steve go through act 7 & most likely act 8, one of the coolest mcoc things I've ever seen. So glad this thread/accomplishment is getting the attention it deserves. @Cantona59 thanks for do this. It's really awesome to be along for the quest...

Sadly act 8 has the restriction on 4 stars and below, so Steve can no longer be used for them 😥. He has been the mvp for the account tho, he’ll always be the mascot
Day 7 recap! So that’s the first week of the challenge done! Once again have to say thank you for all the support on the thread, on YouTube, and Ingame, it really does help propel me forward and encourages me to keep playing on even when I essentially have no counter for a fight.
So I started the day by picking up the 7.3 deal from yesterday, I was debating between mystic and skill t5cc, and decided to go with skill for cheelith and then use the generic 2-3 from act 7 completion on Chavez.
Then I dived into 7.4, and with the major rankups from yesterday it was so much faster and felt so much easier. Also around this chapter and into act 8 was when they started doing a lot of class based lanes (eg: use mutant champs, get this boost), so any skill, tech or mystic lanes was essentially a free path.
7.4.1 (invisible woman lane) 0 revives, skill path so Kate and cheelith destroyed it
7.4.2, ok here I did something a bit funky, basically the quest is layed out in a way where u can do the 1st and last fight on the unit path (which is difficult), but the other 4 fights on a different lane that was much easier. So I struggled through those 2 fights as I didn’t have a true counter, but then ripped through the other 4 fights. Overall it cost 1 revive to get 90 units so good trade.
7.4.3 (symbiote spidey lane) 0 revives, this quest is a bit of a slog, lots of dashing back to keep the disorients up and then doing bursts of damage 7.4.4 (Spidey lane) 0 revives, also a bit of a slog, but Kate did well against the fights she got superiority for to stack the fury’s with coldsnap 7.4.5 (Stark Spidey lane) 0 revives, 5/6 opponents on this path are metal, so magneto cleaned up with a couple potions 7.4.6 (Mr sinister lane) 0 revives, tech lane, so r3 guardian crushed most fights and brought omega sentinel for havok
Then it was Superior Kang. Now if I’m being honest I don’t really like this boss, in past Speedruns I’ve never been able to get a good run going on him and it usually costs me a couple team revives to get through him. But this time I decided to play very well against him 😅. I used 1 revive on him, which stunned me tbh cause I was expecting a lot more.
(Quick note that from 7.4 onwards all end of chapter unit deals are still at their release price, so from this point all those deals will be ignored and not bought)
Anyone who randomly remembers the path rewards for 7.4 may realise that I managed to take every unit path in this chapter! So that was a nice 540 units back to keep it topped up.
So that was the end of act 7, and the completion rewards was … tbh not great. Even the 6 star nexus didn’t really give me anything I could get excited about, so the best stuff from it was the generic 1-2 and 2-3 gems and the 6* awakening gem. The awakening gem happened to be tech, so decided to use it on guardian and take him to sig 60 for some extra tankiness.
At this point I decided to take chavez to r3 lvl 45 to help me in act 8 (used the iso from the 5th shooting stars quest), and then decided to jump straight into act 8.
8.1.1 (Blade lane) 0 revives, this is where the weapon nodes was added to the game, and this path had +400% sp2 damage when deactivated. So Chavez did some stuff that was not safe for viewing. 8.1.2 (Sentry lane) 0 revives, skill wrath lane so once again Kate and cheelith destroyed it, Chavez also helped for the Medusa at the end of the path 8.1.3 (cap marvel lane) 1 revive, another weapon node but this time with damaging debuffs getting a buff, so Cheelith was pumping some crazy damage. 8.1.4 (Hulk lane) 1 revive, skill lane once again, giving Kate and cheelith up to 350% more attack 8.1.5 (Jane Foster lane) 0 revives, this is the most fun lane in act 8 imo, if u stack up a lot of intercepts then the opponent has loads of petrify and tries to heal. They just melt themselves. 8.1.6 (Heimdall lane) 0 revives, a repeat of the first quest, 400% sp2 damage and a lane with mostly science and cosmic champs is perfect for my roster.
Then it was time for Scytalis. I think the majority of people will agree that she is the easiest out of the act 8 bosses, but she is very fun. Cheelith got her down to the final phase on her own, and Kate finished the job with coldsnap slowly ticking her down. 0 revives used.
Once again, 8.1 rewards was very meh, apart from getting a 2-3 skill gem which is quite nice, as it saves catalysts on cheelith, so I took her to r3 straight away.
I was getting a bit tired, but decided I had a bit left in the tank, so let’s see how 8.2 went (well up to quest 4):
8.2.1 (Aegon lane) 0 revives, power shield lane so really simple to start off with 8.2.2 (Mr Negative lane) 1 revive, this is actually a tricky weapon node, it requires an intercept and if opponent hits your block you get staggered which can deal a lot of damage. Cheelith mvp for cleanse. 8.2.3 (Sentry lane) 0 revives, bleed vulnerability on this lane, so cheelith made quick work of this. 8.2.4 (Void lane) 1 revive, another skill lane (there’s so many of them for some reason), but a bit trickier than usual and with some scary defenders. Tiredness hit me here.
And that’s where I stopped, I was getting tired and didn’t want to be burnt out for the next day so that I could hopefully push paragon.
Tomorrow I hope to get all the way to glykhan, as completing act 8 would get me all the resources and gems needed for paragon. I have a feeling glykhan is going to do some serious damage to me, as I don’t have a great counter as it stands.
Upload for today is showcasing Superior Kang and Scytalis bosses, link below:
Final note: I am going to attempt to do a stream on either YouTube or Twitch on what would be Day 9 (Saturday Evening or Sunday morning depending on your time zone). I have never streamed before, so it may take some time to set up, a bit of troubleshooting etc, but hopefully I can be live to start a bit of act 8 exploration with me talking as well. Hopefully anyone can turn up if they have the time 😁.
Hey Cantona, How important would you consider a good Sidequest or Special Deals for your speedruns?
Do you consider giving Up / start over a run when you keep pulling **** Champions? So no magneto but rhino, black Bolt, cyclops and so on. Or do you Take the Challenge?

Great Work so far. I following your Accounts.
I would say not too important realistically. Like yes, I have absolutely abused the Steve from side quest this month but I would have found something to replace him, such as Kate as she could do almost everything he does.
In terms of bad champs, it doesn’t phase me too much. The vast, vast majority of this game can be done with any champion, and I stand by that because I’ve done it. You just need either:
1. High damage 2. Patience and skill, eg: going into act 7 and doing a 500 combo fight without dying
Good example from this run was the crossbones in 6.1.5. I had absolutely no counter as a 4,5 or 6 star, and so some people might consider the run dead in the water cause they would wait for a counter. Instead I decided to look at my 3* champs and saw G99. Would a 3* in act 6/7 take ages? Yes absolutely and I wouldn’t recommend it. Is it possible? Also yes, and is sometimes better if used for specific fights instead of going unitman mode.
So far there hasn’t been a single fight I have had to unitman through (glykhan may say hold my beer soon), and that’s because I have found different ways through the fights.
I found glykhan the easiest of the act 8 bosses, particularly once I realised (in my last run...) that you can block his specials in the final indestructible phase.
7* warlock, oddly, was my go to, although I think the damage scale from the 7* node, must be huge, as R3 warlock was doing substantially more damage, than R2 bishop, or 5/65 ascended champs. So you may need to focus on r2-ing a 7*.
What thoughts at the moment for the necropolis run??

I think my best option will be Chavez as she has good crit damage and big specials. I still have 50 ish revives and around 25 team revives so I’m gonna be fine but might eat a lot of resources.
In terms of the necro run so far I have no idea. Realistically I’m still hoping for one of the insane champs for it (Kate, Shuri, Wong, aegon etc), and I’m only gonna think about a different strategy when I’m coming towards the end of act 8 100%.

Great point; 100% act 8 gives a lot of chances for a great pull on 7*s, but also to R5 and ascend any 3 six stars and you may have enough revives and units to use almost anyone in necropolis by that point.
(One of my alliance mates used 5* aegon for his first run....👀 )
But actually with chee'lith, you may have a partial solution @BitterSteel has a bunch of awesome content with her marmalising necropolis content.

Spoilers: they won't give it back. Besides that, firstly: this is the correct forum. You are in the incorrect thread. Please use your brain for 1 minute to see how the forum is structured.
As someone who optimistically would have had fun doing this but will never have the time, how long do you spend each day on this?
You've made several claims about speaking to customer service, so why are you confused about unproductive complaining on a completely unrelated thread to fellow players and not Kabam employees? Continue to speak to the official customer support, be reasonable, and you won't "get jailed". Unfortunately, you weren't "just asking questions", neither will escalating any misunderstanding like this tend to get you what you want in life.
I didn't want to further derail the thread but man, this was a weird rabbit hole.
It is a lot of time but I rarely play for long period straight through, it’s usually with lots of breaks and in between usual day to day stuff.
Day 6 Recap!
7.2.4 (Vision lane) 0 revives, quite a nice node for Kate and magneto with the superiority nodes going in their favours
7.2.5 (Miles Morales lane) 0 revives, Kate + power shield again, but the platpool boss was an absolute slog with Steve, took around 400 hits
7.2.6 (Superior Iron man lane) 1 revive, Should have been non really, did a few slip ups that cost me champs
7.3.1 (Wolverine X-23 lane) 0 revives, this is quite a nice starting quest, get 2 or 3 dashes in a row with Kate and coldsnap deals bonkers damage and nukes defenders
7.3.2 (Omega Red lane) 0 revives, path is quite annoying but once you get the Paradox charges up it’s relatively fine. Old Man Logan boss was another slog, around 250 hits.
7.3.3 (Quake lane) 1 revive, cheelith went absolute beast mode here, the path is do you bleed, and even at 6* r1 she starting cutting through opponents with the paradox charges up
7.3.4 (Void lane) 3 revives, I think the tiredness hit me here cause I was doing some sloppy and risky stuff, but still wasn’t too horrible
7.3.5 (Purgatory lane) 1 revive, this is a pretty tricky lane to keep nailed down, so I thought I did pretty well, sad that they put heal block on the node so you can’t get any healing back
7.3.6 (Luke Cage lane) 0 revives, this is an easy path, and leaves Kang in his basic form which is good
So 7.3 Kang.
Guardian, r3 lvl 45
Cheelith r2 lvl 33 (I’ll get the last bit from 7.4.2)
Chavez r2 lvl 35
Compared to r1 lvl 1, this is a massive boost to help me into act 8, and I also plan to r5 Kate tomorrow too.
From tomorrow it’s simply go as far as possible, there’s no set goal really as I go into act 8.
Upload from today, Gwenmaster and Kang bosses, as well as the opening after 7.3 and ranking guardian to end it.

I got mad respect for him.
Go get them Tiger!
7.4.3 (symbiote spidey lane) 0 revives, this quest is a bit of a slog, lots of dashing back to keep the disorients up and then doing bursts of damage
7.4.4 (Spidey lane) 0 revives, also a bit of a slog, but Kate did well against the fights she got superiority for to stack the fury’s with coldsnap
7.4.5 (Stark Spidey lane) 0 revives, 5/6 opponents on this path are metal, so magneto cleaned up with a couple potions
7.4.6 (Mr sinister lane) 0 revives, tech lane, so r3 guardian crushed most fights and brought omega sentinel for havok
8.1.2 (Sentry lane) 0 revives, skill wrath lane so once again Kate and cheelith destroyed it, Chavez also helped for the Medusa at the end of the path
8.1.3 (cap marvel lane) 1 revive, another weapon node but this time with damaging debuffs getting a buff, so Cheelith was pumping some crazy damage.
8.1.4 (Hulk lane) 1 revive, skill lane once again, giving Kate and cheelith up to 350% more attack
8.1.5 (Jane Foster lane) 0 revives, this is the most fun lane in act 8 imo, if u stack up a lot of intercepts then the opponent has loads of petrify and tries to heal.
8.2.1 (Aegon lane) 0 revives, power shield lane so really simple to start off with
8.2.2 (Mr Negative lane) 1 revive, this is actually a tricky weapon node, it requires an intercept and if opponent hits your block you get staggered which can deal a lot of damage.

How important would you consider a good Sidequest or Special Deals for your speedruns?
Do you consider giving Up / start over a run when you keep pulling **** Champions?
So no magneto but rhino, black Bolt, cyclops and so on. Or do you Take the Challenge?
Great Work so far. I am following your Accounts.
1. High damage
In terms of the necro run so far I have no idea. Realistically I’m still hoping for one of the insane champs for it (Kate, Shuri, Wong, aegon etc), and I’m only gonna think about a different strategy when I’m coming towards the end of act 8 100%.
(One of my alliance mates used 5* aegon for his first run....👀 )
But actually with chee'lith, you may have a partial solution @BitterSteel has a bunch of awesome content with her marmalising necropolis content.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll check those vids out.
