Storm has some utility and serious damage now, especially as a horseman. But you need cable, apocalypse and pyramid x to get all out of her (and Professor x as well I guess for the special damage boost). She still isn’t a too 5 mutant, so she isn’t worth it. But she if a lot of fun.

Cable is fantastic when you have a 6/65 or ran 3 6-star apocalypse. But he is the robin and apocalypse is the Batman - not the other way around. So wait until you get a 5 or 6 star version of the big guy before ranking up cable.

Best advice on here from above was to use spider ham for the 7.3 purgatory boss. I went in with a r3 6-star sig 29 dr doom and got killed quickly while only taking 5% off her health. Next I attacked with a 5 star rank 4 unawakened spider-ham and took her down in one shot. Awesome tip

I don’t know if anyone can out damage CGR in almost any situation. With suicides I can clear the winter soldier and captain marvel ROL fights in typically 32-36 hits every single time. Amazing damage. Plus immunities

I’m curious about this because I don’t use him much. What is it about archangel that would make people use a very rare generic awakening gem and rank 3 him, when there is a 5/65 sig 120 already? I think the fact that magneto is a cheat code against 1/3 of the content in this game makes him invaluable. It’s not just an edge, it’s a cheat code. The appeal of awakening doom is he doesn’t need any sig stones except for more prestige. I’ve heard a lot about Diablo and suicides. How much does his awakening affect him with suicides and does he need a lot of sigs?

Agree with the others. Save those stones for herc, Angela, Medusa, etc. if both are awakened they are near max utility already.

I guess the lack of void love makes sense - he is really there for reversing healing, power gain, etc more than damage and you would need to somehow awaken the 6 star and then get 150+ sigs to make him useful But isn’t AA at 5/65 going to be similar to void in that you get the reduced ability accuracy…

Herc is significantly better than those other options. Just rank him up and awaken him when possible. Don’t get too hung up on them being the same class. A 5 star ghost carried me to cavalier status. That’s how big of a game changer she is. Max her up and awaken her then watch videos on her. She will be your most important champ for the next 5-10 months.

If you use psylocke with the apocalypse synergy she is much improved, and still has a way to permanently keep the opponent at 0 power forever. But magik is so much better this should not be a poll. Even a newbie can use magik effectively by just spamming sp2 for an entire fight. She can help clear a lot of content
