Parry is a game changer. It should almost be a built-in mechanic instead of a mastery. All it takes is a little practice on the timing. It is better to learn it now.
-
Ghost Rider is more difficult to master. But he is more useful with all of his utility and heals.
-
Save it. Generic awakening gems are very hard to get. Archangel and Star Lord are the only two champions that I would say definitely are worth a generic. Other champions are worth a class gem. Generics are too rare.
-
Wolverine needs to be duped. Archangel is much better duped, but he can still do good damage if unduped.
-
It depends on whether you need help getting through content now or if you want to take a more long term view of it. Gwenpool - God tier, and you don’t seem to have a high ranked Skill Wolverine - Great healer, good for grinding with fewer heals and revives, usefulness went down because of Sentienels Magik - Great for power…

I have an iPhone X, and I have problems too. Widespread overheating is a huge red flag that something is wrong with the game. It is not a problem on iPhone 6s themselves. I had one for years. The code seems to be in a terrible state. That is most likely what is causing all of these timing and control issues. It has been…

It is supposed to be fixed with the latest patch.
-
I stopped doing them very quickly. It's not worth the time to me. Another big miss.
-
Just one of many, many ongoing performance and control problems: https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/62021/ios-lag-and-performance-investigation
-
Well, I updated to the latest version (18.0.1), and it's even worse. I could barley do anything in AW.
-
It’s too much for me. It’s not AW by itself that is the problem. It is running AW with AQ and all of these new events simultaneously. By the time I use my top champs for AW offense and defense and AQ, I am left with my “D” team for events. It would be nice if this was not an issue for me, but the drastic difference in…

Very little keeps me playing at this point. The game had potential, but it hasn’t lived up to it.
-
I don’t suppose we can get an update on these problems? The topic may be 20 days old, but I have been raising these issues for a year now. The latest update messed up my controls again, as almost every update does. The Chadwick challenge relies heavily on being able to evade and intercept. I can’t even complete the easiest…
-
That is true of a lot of the champions. Doesn't hurt to ask the question.
-
I have actually done this against the AI too, not intentionally. There are so many bugs right now.
-
I'm not sure. I thought it always happened. The stun doesn't always work either. It's either very glitchy or something else is effect it.
-
I don't have Yondu. I voted him because he's good for war defense. I have Nebula. I am very unimpressed with her.
-
...he looks very cool though.

I said "have to" and "requirements" in the context of gaining the rewards needed to progress in the game. This how the game is designed, if you want to advance. I never said anything about anyone forcing me or feeling like I had no choice. It appears you should take your own advice, since many words can have different…
-
It’s another design decision that makes no sense. Sure, we can calculate it ourselves, but why should we have to? Some people seem to be missing the point. There is no good reason to make it so difficult to figure out a rating that plays such a big part in the game. I wish they would get rid of it completely, but until…
-
Wrong. I never said anyone was forcing me. I never said I was scared of falling behind the top players. You completely made all of that up. I couldn’t care less about other players, including the top ones. I play for my own enjoyment, and right now, the bugs and tediousness of this game is outweighing the fun.
-
You took what I said out of context. Your comments are invalid and not constructive.
-
Yes. It’s too much. You have to complete everything or you can’t progress. You have to do arenas constantly to get any decent amount of gold, and it still is not enough. At some point, it won’t be worth it anymore. The excessive grinding requirements are sucking the fun out of the game.
-
Also, these cooldown timers are ridiculous. They want us to use different champions, which I get, but they have always been extremely tight-fisted on the resources to level up our champions. I have been playing the game long enough to have a big roster. Most of my champions are only leveled up enough to be useful in…
-
It is way too time consuming on top of all the other content I have to finish. It doesn’t even matter that I am not in the top bracket. I won’t be able to get the top milestone each day anyway. Kabam seems to think this is all we do all day. The time requirements for this game are very unrealistic. It’s not even a matter…
-
Gotta love these huge cool down timers too. Now I can use more of my roster...that I can’t level up...because we don’t get enough resources...especially gold.
-
This is just more ludicrous nodes. It’s basically a mini-AQ. What the point? It’s buggy too. My controls are messed up, as they always are after they release something new. Making prestige based is building on a terrible game mechanic. There are also too many events going on at once. Kabam isn’t listening. People with jobs…
-
Wait for Star Lord or Stark.
-
Oh good. Another thread gets derailed by the same people. Anyhoo, the RDTs at Christmas were bad. They didn’t refund all the resources you spent. There always seems to be some sort of nasty “gotcha” with these “gifts.” A lot of games that I have played allow players a way to redistribute their points. There is usually a…

Randomness in computer programs is an approximation. The algorithm used determines how close it is to true randomness. The RNGs in this game seem especially poor, including debuff chances, crystal chances and other supposedly random events. They "cluster" too much. You can get on a hot streak and proc debuffs almost…
