Sure! Have 5* r5 Hyperion (most enjoyable champ in entire game for me), sym supreme, quake, bwcv, r2 6* torch, rulk, sentinel (at first I thought he's not fun to play at all, but now kinda enjoy ramping him. Not duped, so I have to hit opponent's block a lot. Maybe it's Stockholm syndrome, but find it kinda enjoyable now). Maybe the thing is I mostly enjoy playing good champs. Oh, I also have r2 6* not duped km. Is he considered low tier enough to count as a joy champ?
Looks cool on paper but any casual or F2P player should never attempt this ever. Resources to max out a 5 star is too much to waste on simply "enjoyment"

I’m free to play and rank up champions I enjoy. Most of them are really good champions in the first place but there are some who I’ve ranked up over other “better” champions

I wouldn't say I'm 100% F2P because I purchase daily cavalier crystals, summoners sigil, and the collector's card. However, I will say I'm about 70% F2P because I don't buy rank up bundles and stuff like that. But I always rank up my champs based on a tier list. I took my 5* CAIW to r5 and he's quite boring because all I do is parry, heavy, sp2, parry heavy, sp2. I only r5 him because his damage output is insane. I have a double dupe 5* Voodoo at r3, I really enjoy playing him, but because he's not practical to use in high-level content. However, my 5* dupped Doom, I'm taking to r5 as soon as the glory rewards for this week's AQ drops. I really enjoy playing as doom, since he's an all-around top tier champ.
And it was this rank up that shocked me the most! I appreciate the decision[ if i'm allowed to] a very confusing one for, can you please reason out why you ranked him up? just for fun?
I did that for OML. I am waiting rank KG till duped. May use the generic gem on him.

For sure. I liked him before the buff and when I heard he was getting the buff I took him to r4. First r5 after. He is sustainable and his crit bleeds on sp2 are amazing...when they crit. Helped me get cav as well. Timing his bleeds with his regen his key, especially when fighting on nodes that cause bleed. His sp1 causes armor break and the sig gives bonus dmg to the first sp used. I don't really use his sp3 though and find it meh. He also has a nice synergy with colossus that gives him a bar of power at the start so you can get sp2 quicker. He is an incursion beast and my biggest NF counter
