Re: ALLIANCE WAR SEASON 58 ANNOUNCEMENT
Running a new map for one season only? That’s a bold move with how well new maps have worked in the past. Takes at least a season for bugs to get worked out.

Re: Does anyone have problems with the raids where you can’t enter Raid Fervor?

Example of resetting and not entering fervor
Re: Does anyone have problems with the raids where you can’t enter Raid Fervor?
Here's a video with a breakdown.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev6sFIVb4HI
Weak Spot Description: Increase any Raid Fervor gained from missions by 6 for each Weakness or Taunt Debuff active on the defender, max 30.
Noteworthy Events:
0:10 Prompt Complete: Dex - 0 Weakness Present, 1 Fervor gained (CORRECT). 1 Fervor total present.
0:18 Weakness Added (now 1 stack)
0:19 Prompt Complete: Light attack, 1 weakness present, 6 Fervor gained (INCORRECT) 7 Fervor total present
-----NOTE: Should have gained 1 Fervor for the prompt completion AND 6 for having 1 weakness)
0:21 Weakness Added (now 2 stacks)
0:22 Weakness Added (now 3 stacks)
0:23 Weakness Added (now 4 stacks)
0:25 Prompt Complete: Knockdown, 4 weakness present 6 Fervor gained (INCORRECT). 13 Fervor total Present
---- FERVOR GAINED should have been as follows:
1 for a complete prompt
6 for each weakness (4) for a total of 24
25 Total Ferver gained for the knockdown prompt with 4 weakness. That's a whopping difference of 19 fervor. It's like they're only counting 6 max instead of 30 max?
This should be enough proof that this is not working correctly.
I don't want to do a breakdown of the rest of the video. The bug is right here, in living color.

Re: fix titania
Intimidate doesn't prevent them from using specials, it makes them less likely to throw specials, in the same way that taunt makes them more likely to throw specials but not that they throw specials any second they can
This is Who Funds the Game You Play... Everybody Take a Moment to Thank This Player
Like guys cmon what the heck is this... Heart of Fire literally just came out and this is who they're putting me against in arenas and I fear for what that means for BGs. Good luck ever moving anywhere in BGs if you're FTP with these accounts lurking out there.

Re: ALLIANCE WAR SEASON 58 ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey all. I understand the risk aversion from the group of players currently playing high tier war. I would just ask you all to give it a chance. Right now we only have it planned for one season, we don't have it penciled in for any future seasons at this time. Let's give it a try and see how it goes.I understand the thought process for a change, but if you’re going to do an “experimental season” you should lock the war ratings. We have worked very hard and a very long time to get into t1 based on the rules you set forth. We should not have to face losing our war rating or kicking our less talented players just to stay where we are. You say it’s just one season, but it can have major decision ramifications due to roster size and talent that isn’t a problem under the current system.
You say nobody is asking for changes to AW, but actually lots of players are asking for changes to AW. The people playing in T1 are the survivors of the current system, which is a very small part of the player base. As someone else in this thread mentioned, this might be better for lower tier alliances. If that's the case, we might end up in a future where top tiers play the existing format and lower tiers play this one. This is just an example, but nothing is set in stone yet.
So again, give it a chance and if it doesn't work, we won't bring it back. Part of trying to make the game more exciting means we have to be able to experiment now and then.

Re: HORRIBLE MATCHMAKING
I have a lot of sympathy for players below Valiant trying to engage with Battlegrounds, and indeed we are looking at options to create a more casual environment so they can match with other accounts with similar strength outside of the competitive experience.
However, as a Valiant player playing on the Gladiator's Circuit, you are always going to eventually run into accounts stronger than your own. How you deal with that will determine how successful you are in Battlegrounds. If you have a deck of mostly R3s, you shouldn't be forfeiting to anybody. Yes, you are more likely than not to lose to an equal skilled player with a row of R4s, but it is definitely not guaranteed. And skill and strategy can often overcome a single rank differential in champion power. The best Battlegrounds players in the world are those with the most skill and the most experience in the various matchups, for the most part they aren't the players with the biggest accounts.
