I mean, I like five stars, but I don’t really wanna fight a 400k health Heimdall or Killmonger as my first fight, I don’t have a bad roster even, that’s just not worth it, not to mention more fights
Just finished my first and only run. The rewards to difficulty ratio are incredibly poor. Significantly harder than the Champions Challenge and yet significantly worse reward. Not worth it at all.
@Kabam Miike can you please let us know did anyone actually completed this challenge during testing phase or you guys just released the content and kept faith on community that will figure out the counters???

I'm convinced they don't test this **** with limited rosters akin to even the average Platinum Ally's player would have.
I'm sure they roll in with a roster of every single 5/65 6* that exists and play the challenge then say "well that only cost me 500 units, should be pretty easy for the community"
We are going to have to disagree for the sake of moving on. They might not seem proportionate to the content, but the Rewards themselves aren't trash.
That's like you saying 2+2 is 5.... and we just have to agree to disagree.
No. I'll elaborate once and then I'm moving on in the conversation.
The comment that it's trash was made before anyone even saw what was entailed. That's the general reaction on here. "This is trash, that's trash, this is garbage, that's garbage.". People have every right to be blasé about what they want, but when Rewards are announced that are significant, it's still worth pointing out that they're not trash. Where those Rewards rank among other Rewards in the game is pretty high.
Personal value is subjective, and depends on who feels it's worth what effort. It also depends on where people are at. However, no one has moved beyond the point of needing the Rewards given, so they are indeed not trash, to anyone.
As for whether it's worth the effort, as I said, that's a different subject. I haven't decided how I feel about it yet. It seems to be akin to ROL, only more amped up. However, the Rewards are higher than ROL. It also presents more challenges because of the newer Champs and extra Nodes. I understand how people could feel like it's not worth the effort, but I haven't come to that conclusion yet. I've done one test Fight so far. Seems to be more of a forethought situation than just mashing buttons.
In any case, people were calling it trash before they even saw it and that is what I was addressing.
Now I'm moving on because this is digressing.
Not this again.............we get it you disagree with people...what a surprise. Let them have their opinion. For me I wouldn't use any items to complete this as the rewards don't match the difficulty.
that maze is only for people that have rank 5 5 star or higher champs i don't see anyone doing that maze with 4 star 5/50 , this is my opinion they should had made a lower difficulty maze for lower lvl players and once you enter to either maze the hard or easy you would not have access to the other so players only do 1
I never have issues with some of these quests. I've conquered pretty much everything that they've released. The reward to difficulty balance is way off. This is harder than ROL with worse rewards. I assume some people will just pay there way through it. I'll sit this one out.
That's rather like saying that Labyrinth of Legends is like Act 2, only with harder opponents. The only thing the maze has in common with RoL is the Abandon Hope moniker. The maze is multipath, so players actually have to decide which foes they want to face on each run, the foes themselves are uncollected boss-class in health and attack, and the nodes seem hand crafted to make the foes especially nasty.
It is interesting, it does feel like a puzzle, and personally I'm fine with all of that. But the difficulty seems very high, even if you "figure out" the puzzle aspects of it. I just tried to tackle what I think is the easiest opening node, the biohazard archangel, and that would just require bringing an immunity champ if it wasn't for the unblockable finale. Unblockable finale is not an easy node to play through for most people, and when "finale" is the last 100k of health (+900% health means AA starts with over 400k) that one fight is going to be harder with an entire team than trying to solo all of RoL with one champ for most players.
Maybe matador Killmonger is a better first completion path. I'll have to do some testing to figure out whether this is completable by me with less resources than it is worth in rewards.
Thank you all for the feedback. I think it's pretty clear what I'll be passing along to the team in terms of the rewards here.
We understand that this is very difficult content. It was not meant to be easy, and we weren't underselling it when we said that many will enter, but few will complete it. This is some very very high end content.
If you don't feel the rewards are not worth the effort for this mode, remember that there are still lots of other things to do in game right now, including the Chilled Challenges that just went live.
I'm going to make sure that we have a discussion with the team regarding the rewards for any future iterations of something like this.
You can't make something this hard have trash rewards. You need to think before putting out content like this. How is is possible that this has worse rewards than the Champ Challenge when it's 10 times as hard? This is why you guys get so much hate from the community.

No they did not. At least not with something akin to a regular player's account

In terms of the strenght of the Champs and the Damage inflicting I observed in the first Fight, I likened it to ROL. The design and layout is definitely different. It's interesting for sure. Of course, I've only tested one Fight, so I wouldn't call that an in-depth assessment. It'll be interesting to play with for sure.
yeah absolutely not touching this. I've completed every bit of content the game has thrown at me, but this is pretty god awful....make it permanent content, beef up the rewards a bit, and lets call it LOL 1/2
Encima tienen la soberbia de decir que “esto es lo que hay”, “si no te gusta, no es obligatorio jugarlo”, “hay otras muchas cosas que puedes hacer”. Este NO es el camino
The event is tuned for R4+ 5 Star Champions. Easily the hardest thing since Labyrinth.
As an endgame player I enjoy the difficulty, what I don't enjoy is poor reward structures.
The rewards are AWFUL for the difficulty, an absolute shambles of an event.
Champion's Challenge was x5 easier and had x5 better rewards.
Bro agreed I’ve working thru it 3 paths left and I’m just like these rewards for this type of difficulty just doesn’t add up like why waist my time smh. Like easily could day 1 this content but for the amount of focus it requires im just mad at the rewards like smh

It seems pretty obvious to me that this thing is designed mostly to be a pure challenge. The rewards are token rewards for running the challenge, not progressional rewards intended to be commensurate with the difficulty.
At the highest levels of any progressional game, this sort of thing becomes essentially mandatory, or else you have runaway rewards at the top. That becomes literally game-breaking.
I knew it and called it you guys give a challenge right after champions clash which is harder with worse rewards??? How does that even get through testing?
And please please don't give the same response saying it is for end game players because if it was then the rewards would be way better. For once just admit you made a mistake.
Sucked.... lots of units for an initial clear. It will be my ONLY clear. The only fights that cost me anything were Thanos and his bull*&^% and then The Champion. The rewards are terrible. Not even worth my time.

I’m all for difficult content but scale the rewards to reflect that. Really feels like a missed opportunity.
Would be interested to hear the logic or reasoning behind the decisions related to this quest and rewards.
Dont worry guys, this is meant for people with 6*stars at r3
Think about that
Sheesh. I wasn't expecting Gwenpool movies level but this surpasses heavyweight and variant... on a limited time event for the holidays?
Poor form. Bad optics. Merry festivus. Sigh..
