It's one Champ (2 actually) that can't be used against one Champ. Would people react as much if it was someone like CB, or HE? No. The reaction is because just about every Attack Team has one. Only, this shouldn't be news for any of us that have played the game for some years. You can't rely on the same Champs forever. It's also not that big of a deal. You have 3 Champs for Attack. So you use one of the other two. This is the name of the game. Some Champs can be countered by others. Plain and simple.

i actually much prefer the 100% miss vs a 20% or a 50% miss, i like certainty. If it was a 20% chance to miss you'd still treat it as if it was 100% so it doesn't matter too much. I really like that kabam is trying to create champs/quests that force us to bring other champs (i.e. no ghost/corvus in variant 2).

You are wrong. Hard counters are stupid and will piss players off. No champ should not be able to beat any other champ automatically at the same PI. Yes, nodes/quests that make us bring other champs are great. Champs that you can’t win a fair fight because they are such a hard counter is terrible and will just make the game go downhill
What? I gave my opinion (as someone with an r5 ghost and r5 corvus) that i really like the hard counters. I enjoyed variant 2 a ton because i ran it with rulk and sentinel. I'm a huge fan of anything that creates more attacker diversity, and to me it makes the game much more fun. Everything pisses certain players off, there's a lot of people (and a certain youtuber or 2) who live to be pissed off.

I only have Corvus as a 3* and has yet to use him in quest at all. Reading his abilities:

When Knocked Down: Corvus’ blade is damaged if Corvus is Knocked Down by a Heavy or Special Attack, disabling Glaive’s Immunity for 3 seconds.

Corvus’ blade is damaged after he uses all of his Glaive charges, disabling Glaive’s Immunity for 50 seconds. Corvus cannot inflict Critical Hits while Glaive’s Immunity is disabled.

So, no crit hits means Maw can take damage?

Does it makes sense to take a heavy and then strike back during the cool down window?

You would need to wat like 6 heavies and counter combo right after to get the sustained non crit of glaives being down.

    Doesnt seem viable in war.
That said just dont bring corvus for every fight is viable
Lol, you must play in Tier 10 if you Think taking multiple heavies in war might be viable

Why are people so surprised that a cosmic champ has a disadvantage to a mystic like just use anyone else in the game and there is no issue like no champ should be able to beat nearly everything in this game anyways like just use different champs for lol

No one is talking about a disadvantage. No one complains about Corvus vs Symb Sup, that’s a disadvantage. What we have here is an impossibility, which is very different from disadvantage
There is literally over 100 champs in this game and people are mad that ONE champ can’t hit him like why are people even using Corvus on him anyways when there are way more viable options like basically every one else in the game

You must not read too well.

Doesnt seem viable in war. Clear as day words I used and you respond telling me.its not viable?

    That's what I said.

Work on reading and come back to me
Entertaining a possibility instead of auto-concluding that this is a ridiculous, preposterous idea shows your war rating. Don’t nag my reading bro, you are analyzing taking 6 heavies to get some non-critical hits😂😂😂

You are missing my point. If 2 champs at the same PI are fighting, neither one should be an auto-win... even if there are a million champs to choose from.

yea I think Corvus matchup against Maw becomes impossible now that I think of it...I mean Ghost vs Maw is nearly impossible but doable.

Corvus is an impossible fight vs Maw and that I agree, totally sucks. There should be a way that Corvus can still fight but requires a lot of skill, effort, items, boosts and what not but thats up to the player. This is like completely shutting down Corvus

    👆👆👆 this dude gets it

I detailed a response to the question instead of disregarding it like a pompous d bag. Who thinks hes high on himself..

Your corvus cant beat 1 guy might as well sell your acct since you cant play without your God crutch

Shutting him down against one Champ. Not the end of the world. There's what, 130-140 Champs? Lol.

So this is now the “salty I don’t have Corvus or Ghost” thread?

Hopefully a Mod can Chang the title

Who determines that? You? The game is full of content that some Champs are not a viable option for. We see this all the time. Something is introduced that the "God Tier Champs" can't be used for, and people claim injustice. What SHOULD be is whatever they see fit to design, and if everyone is depending on the same Champs, you can be sure something will be introduced to off-set that. So, you can't use Corvus. Use someone else. No Champ is guaranteed to be able to be used for everything. That's a fact.

I engaged your one and only point. I don't agree with it.

Not viable and impossible are very different in my view. And this is a very slippery slope that Kabam is going down.
