So I soloed an Abyss fight with IMIW...

Yeah... I was ridiculed a lot on this one. Been told countless times that IMIW didn't have enough damage output to do abyss. Well... here is video evidence that it is totally possible. I would honestly use him over Aegon in certain fights cause that just felt too easy and it was just against Omega lol. Even though he already lost 15% health from an earlier attempt, that could've easily been ticked down towards the end.

By the way... Aegon is totally overrated for abyss save for the collector fight. He can't really solo anything meaning you spend a ton on revives. I'm going to try an abyss run in under 1000 units using the team in the video but I'll have to wait for a stealthy to upgrade.

Awesome!! Yes , imiw is indeed a bit underrated for attack. But he's pretty awesome , especially if we use that heavy attack to convert plasmas .

I too am a big fan of using IMIW on attack. He's very underrated as an offensive champ.

He'd be even better if they fixed his bug. I'm seeing him gain about 10% less power per hit than other champs. I did a write-up in the bugs section. Basically, you could get to an L3 with 1 less combo than you are now if they fixed him. This makes him quite a bit more viable.

Have you noticed the same thing?

If you want to save revives then use Claire,IMIW with synergy,She hulk,.If you run suicides AEGON can solo fights just use him right I soloed every champ with with this much health.

That's really impressive. Never used IMIW or seen anyone play him that way.

But saying Ægon is overrated is a bit foolish imo. I just did my Abyss run and he us a must have champ. Ramp him up and most champs can be dropped in 2 revives. Less if you run suicides. And good luck vs VTD with that team. That was a painfully long fight, and I would not want to do that fight without Doom or a great nullifier. If you can take down an Abyss path with 1k revives with that team I'd be shocked. But good luck. I hope you prove me wrong.

It's not like I'm close to doing abyss, but I love me some unexpected imiw gloriousness.

Failed to get proper results. Need to max out courage, glass cannon, and assassin anyways. He might need a boost to solo idk.

Awesome vid, imiw has always been such a favorite of mine and I’ve always known he had potential just from lol fights I’ve seen, but now seeing this vid is just amazing. Such a shame his stealth spidey syngery wasnt just inheritely a part of his kit, but atleast stealth is amazing champ since it could’ve been worse.

I might actually use SS instead of capiw since mystics can solo abyss cmm now. But I dont really see a problem with the team if each champ is capable of soloing certain fights.

Most of the time I'm going to be using She Hulk and Stealthy to slow debuff the opponent and hopefully solo them. IMIW I'll use for fights that have multiple hit specials and need to be taken down before the charges run out. I have warlock for the havoks and bishop too.

That's where a majority of the units and revives will go. She Hulk will have to down him in bursts.

Here's one of the fights from my latest test run up to Abyss Joe Fixit where I eventually quit to save my units for an actual 1k unit run. IMIW is totally viable for Abyss and I still believe Aegon is only valuable for Abyss Collector and a select few niche fights. Had Quake not thrown those 2 heavies and I let the debuffs do the job (No 15% attack boost used and Assassin would kick in too) then he wouldve soloed the fight. I won't be showing my entire run but it went pretty well when I didn't end up making mistakes. (Wasted hundreds of units from simple mess ups) My main team consisted of an unduped 6* torch, 5/65 imiw, 5/65 SS, 5/65 sig 70 Aegon, and a 4* stealthy. If my Aegon was max sig and my Stealthy was a maxed 5* or r2 6* then the run would be a whole lot cheaper.

say what you will about Ægon but using him is still the best & cheapest choice for Abyss. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

In theory any champ can be taken to the Abyss, but some will just cost you a lot more than others.

And if you seriously think that no mystic champs will help, all I'll say is good luck fighting VtD.

Edit: looks like u did bring Ægon after all and a mystic champ. Glad u changed your mind.

No, there's a hit cap so you can only carry a combo over when you finish the fight. Then you'll die at the beginning of her next fight and have to ramp up again, rinse, repeat. You don't see enough damage against AoL champs untill like 175 hits in her combo meter. She's at like half potential in Abyss.
