15 tickets per day times 5 days = 75 tickets per week
75 tickets divided by 3 currencies = 25 tickets per currency
25 tickets BC:16.643
25 tickets Gold:155.927
25 tickets Loyalty: 14.472
or
225 units per week
That's more than what i used to donate before..... in a matter of resources this update is worse if that price sheet is correct.
Kabam after reading the responses to this thread...
Make every aq map free. If the main reason to not do that is a concern for developers making map 7 accessible to new accounts that isn’t really a deterrent imo. New accounts or players shouldn’t be able to complete map 7. If they choose to lock themselves into map 7 for that day and can’t complete that’s on them. Tbh it would probably be fun for newer players to at least get a little taste of high end aq so they can see how far they can get each week if they tried it out once in a while.
The majority of the community does map 5 or less--probably 5-10% are doing more than 4 rounds of AQ Map 6 and 7 based on where we place. Of those, only a fraction of those split AQ between 5/6 or 6/7 in a substantial enough way for this to be an issue. Nevertheless, for Alliances like ours, it is an issue. Things that I think could reduce the degree to which this hurts would be:
1.) Reduce the price from 15 and 30 per day to 10 and 20 for AQ map 6/7. That would at least keep split alliances from paying more in donations than they currently do as the load is redistributed.
2.) Allow limited gifting of tickets within alliances after 8 days of being in an alliance. Just as the Glory store resets, allow up to 60 tickets per week (or 30 or 120 depending on what you think is a reasonable limit) to be gifted within an alliance. This would keep dumps from happening, and would make it possible for us as officers to encourage mixed participation and allow us to bail someone out in a pinch. It would also keep the issue from becoming quite the extravaganza of 600 k loyalty dumps that happen now. It would also let members of an alliance who run a lower map to actively show appreciation for another person and could bring back some of the benefits that gifting once had, before people were either mercs or idiots.
I hope you consider these two tweaks as ways to improve upon what I think will be overall positive changes to the game.
Re the timing
The timing of this it’s unbelievable, treasuries are already gone while it’s obvious such a change should have been communicated well in advance before implementing any in-game change.
Re the content
I strongly encourage Kabam to rethink this and only implement the change once all the issues that are being raised can be addressed.
This is strong deal breaker for lots of people regardless of the reason this is being implemented. You are putting at risk much of the current alliance spirit and mutuality, which in my opinion are a great asset for this game.
Alliances running mixed maps will eventually breakup for this, causing unnecessary stress to officers and members as well.
On the side: arena cheating is a much bigger problem than resources loaders and people have been complaining about this for YEARS. Funny to see all this urge to fix an issue affecting Map7 and arena still being bot paradise.
I don't even do maps that require tickets, and I still can't help but thinking that player buying power existed, and now it doesn't, and that's very problematic for me. No one player is owed anything specifically, but the alliance as a whole has lost something. I feel like because the alliance lost and not individual players Kabam sees this as a victimless crime. But if the players collectively had more purchasing power yesterday than today, then the players have lost something, just something difficult to quantify.
Don't get me wrong, I can see the impact this has on treasury dumping, and I'm all for that. And if my alliance has to lose its treasury with literally *nothing* in return (because we don't donate at the moment), then I can accept that as well. But if it makes me queasy, as probably the person with the most ice cold perspective on in-game resources, I'm thinking this is going to have quite the negative impact on many players.
Here's another idea...stop punishing millions of average players and alliances because the top 100 alliances can't manage to play fair.
Also, you HAVE to figure out a way to make the cost to enter a shared thing...otherwise noone wil run 655 or 665 or 765 or any kind of mixed AQ again because there's no fair way to alleviate the burden of those having to pay when most don't.
