If there is no opponent of same rating available in their bracket then matchmaking will surely bring higher rating ally in 1v1. There’s nothing wrong with your logic. The only issue is, this matching should occur at the appropriate tier, which is why the old system was unfair.
This current system, once stabilized, will very rarely produce such lopsided matching, except when it comes to the case of new alliances being created.
The most important thing that’s happening now is the shifting of tiers (and tier multipliers), to get everyone sorted out to where they should win/lose 50/50 of their matches.

It all comes down to the fact if everyone is competing for the same rewards then anyone can fight anyone regardless of size.
If you want master rewards fight a master alliance.
If you want platinum rewards fight platinum alliances.
Alliance size has no bearing on skill. For all the smaller alliances claiming you're highly skilled and deserving of high rewards then prove it and beat the bigger alliance making you earn the rewards
You guys know tagging miike and Lyra won’t do anything. This might be the fairest thing they have done in game in a pretty long time. The small alliances have rode the high horse too long. Not even because larger alliances have spent or because we have progressed more but because if you want to win and grow, you need to face larger alliances than you. If you’ve been facing smaller alliances than you between seasons 12-18 then that’s the only reason your progressed. I don’t mind getting my butt handed to me by a larger alliance or a smaller alliance. That just means they are better than mine and deserve to win. If we man handle a small alliance WHO PLaCED in p3 and we didn’t then that tells you A LOT about where they should really be.

Some people are beyond saving... Here’s some things for all you newbs to consider. - all those big scary alliances that you’re supposedly better than because they lost and you didn’t? they likely lost their war because they died 3 times and their opponents died 1 time. - All those wars you baby alliances won in the previous few seasons likely ended with one team on 50 deaths, and the other on 70. - So who’s really the most skilled? The team that can beat maxed 5* and 6* defenders while only dying 3 times over 150 fights but loses? Or the team that dies 50 times to a bunch of maxed 4*s but wins? If you say the team that died 50 times, youre an idiot. - If youre still placing 4*s, what makes you think the old system was perfectly fine when it was handing you T5cc fragment crystals (the rarest resource in the game) and a 6* each month? Whilst people that genuinely need those things were fighting over half a 5*?
By all means, beg kabam to go back to prestige matchmaking but I can guarantee your rewards will be worse than mine under that new system even if you win 10/12 and I won 7/12 because they will make prestige play a part in deciding your rewards too.

The fact is they are skilled enough to defeate opponent ally of same rating while u are not. Thats why they are placed in ranking above you. Dont get jelous. The fact is you guys have increased your prestige ang rating but not your skills. Admit it man
War shouldn't be about facing alliances of you same rating. It should be about facing allys of your same tier. If you want the rewards, earn them, if your so skilled. Also, let's see some of these 'skills' you speak of.
This New Matchmaking System is a Treat for Bigger Alliance who suck at this game as they can just climb ranks by defeating weaker opponents. Thats why most of the peoples are saying that its fair.
No, it’s a treat for big alliances that were held back by never facing alliances that were weaker than them, while the weak alliances only faced other weak alliances and could climb higher despite getting obliterated in a 1v1 match
Dont get offended but do you mean you were held back because you were facing alliance as strong as yours and you need to fight lower alliances to climb up.

LoL i don't think so. Facing an opponent of double ally rating makes no sence even if they are in same bracket. This simply makes the war easy for higher rating ally. If higher rating allies want to grow by doing this then I would like to say them 'Grow up". If u can not defeate an ally rating same as you then how can u say u deserve an higher tier reward? U are telling lower rating ally should be able to defeate opponents of almost double triple rating ally to recieve good rewards while higher rating ally can not even defeate same rating opponent.
Is it you not completing endgame content that makes you more skilled? Because if you could complete endgame content you would have a stronger roster? This game scales skill with champions. If you look at your roster and you don’t have 5/6 stars it’s because you don’t have the skill. They’re super easy to get now, so your lack of a roster speaks volumes.
Liverpool won the premier league (first division). Swindon town won EFL League 2 (4th division). Who deserves the better prize? Liverpool, obviously.
Who deserves a better prize? Swindon town, who won the 4th division, or Watford who are barely avoiding being relegated from the first division? Watford obviously, because even though they lost the majority of their games, they still faced much tougher competition at a much higher level than Swindon ever did.

LOL right! Not a leadership problem it is a suck matchmaking system giving us waste of time wars. And there is the point! It was never "prestige" that caused this mess! It was matches like i discribed! EMPTY. and here is news for you! It is still gonna happen and undeserving alliances will still climb up to the top and still end up with rewards they really didn't have to play to get. This mess isn't gonna change that. Not everybody is so competitive they wanna win and are willing to win by doing nothing! To some that isn't fun! That my friend is a sportmanship issue! And guys like you? Ya got none! Only ego. And they did walk the map and we will be 30 points higher than we started...i expect the next war some of them will be taken away...but it is boring and aggravating and we are going up, and down, and up, with out every really getting to play!
You may be one of the only person I have seen complain about facing an empty map.

If we are 12M ally in Gold2 and another ally under 15M rating also ranking in Gold2 then what is the problem if matchmaking bring us in 1v1?

If there is no opponent of same rating available in their bracket then matchmaking will surely bring higher rating ally in 1v1. That was the reason u will rarely see an ally rating below 20mil in Platinum bracket.
If still people dont understand this we cant expain more.
This current system, once stabilized, will very rarely produce such lopsided matching, except when it comes to the case of new alliances being created.
The most important thing that’s happening now is the shifting of tiers (and tier multipliers), to get everyone sorted out to where they should win/lose 50/50 of their matches.
So just be patient.

If you want master rewards fight a master alliance.
If you want platinum rewards fight platinum alliances.
Alliance size has no bearing on skill. For all the smaller alliances claiming you're highly skilled and deserving of high rewards then prove it and beat the bigger alliance making you earn the rewards
Here’s some things for all you newbs to consider.
- all those big scary alliances that you’re supposedly better than because they lost and you didn’t? they likely lost their war because they died 3 times and their opponents died 1 time.
- All those wars you baby alliances won in the previous few seasons likely ended with one team on 50 deaths, and the other on 70.
- So who’s really the most skilled? The team that can beat maxed 5* and 6* defenders while only dying 3 times over 150 fights but loses? Or the team that dies 50 times to a bunch of maxed 4*s but wins? If you say the team that died 50 times, youre an idiot.
- If youre still placing 4*s, what makes you think the old system was perfectly fine when it was handing you T5cc fragment crystals (the rarest resource in the game) and a 6* each month? Whilst people that genuinely need those things were fighting over half a 5*?
By all means, beg kabam to go back to prestige matchmaking but I can guarantee your rewards will be worse than mine under that new system even if you win 10/12 and I won 7/12 because they will make prestige play a part in deciding your rewards too.
