Usually I grind all weekend in arena but I genuinely can't be bothered loading up the game today. We've been treated like second class citizens. They expect us to know our place whilst the rich get richer on the game. By the time we get Thronebreaker there will be a new level and we'll get shafted again. I'm not a million miles off the title but its certainly not within reach just yet. Was hoping these deals would keep me inspired to focus on progession but as I say think I'll just play a different game today.
A lot of cavalier players who have already completed act 6 will be taking a break from this game. These offers are an insult.
Whilst I agree that the difference between Cav and TB deals was too wide and Cav players should have had access to more T5CC and 6* shards, calling then an insult and suggesting this as a reason for taking a break is way out of perspective.
You still get the extra items with the units so the value of that unit pack is already greatly enhanced and Kabam have no obligation to offer any form of deal.
If you don’t like them then don’t buy them, if your sick of the game then take a break/stop playing but to suggest that “A lot” of others will stop playing with this as the sole rationale is pretty spurious argument
The offers are demonstrably worse than the offers 5 months ago. We have a 5-year track record of offers tracking the meta and improving over time. I got more for $30 in July than now. I got more for 5000 units than now. I haven’t skipped a holiday since 2017 and I bailed on all of it.
Kabam had months to manage expectations and chose not to. If a cavalier offer in July was X, then history gives us every reason to expect X+2 in November. Instead we somehow got X-2. T5cc, t5b, shards and stones are LESS available than they were 5 months ago even though they’re more easily obtained in game. That’s indefensible.
For a heavy RNG based game they did nothing to assist Cav players in reaching the next tier. I mean, who wants to Rank 3 a Miles or Kamala? This is a whales world now peeps and sadly they spent a ton. Cavs and lower are being left in the dust. Time for me to make the move from spender and grinder to free to play and semi-retired.
Uninspired was the term someone used for this year’s offers. That’s pretty spot on.
I’ll add an out-of-the-box package that could have caused me to take a second look: a 4* rankup/max sig offer aimed at Cavs for the 4* Challenge solo objectives.
I’ve got tons of max 4*’s—most of which are oldish—and I hate wasting any resources on 4* in general unless it’s to top off for Level Up milestones. While 4/40 4* are usually more than enough to knock out the 4* Cav EQ challenge objectives, in some cases having a more current 4* at 5/50 or even 4/40 would provide better counters than an older 4*.
It’s not game breaking or something I’d drop a lot of cash or units on, but inclusion of thoughtful offers in that vein would at least suggest some level of understanding of how many veteran/Cav/higher end Summoners play the game.
With all the available game data and plenty of feedback online (some useful and lots not so much), formulating useful, profitable in-game deals shouldn’t be difficult.

Whooooosh!!!
Whist I understand your reasoning in this request I think it's an extremely dangerous thing to be asking.
It's clear as day what they think of Cavs now. We don't need them tailoring deals or rewards to us in form of 4* resources buddy! With the excuse of that solo Objective in mind.
Personally I've skipped 2 out of 3 of those so far so I'd be reeeeeally pissed to be getting more 4* focused things than we already get.
Again, I understand where you're coming from but kbm would be highly unlikely to throw this as an addition on top of things we dedperately need. Rather they'd make this part of the focus.
Fair enough. History suggests the team tends to take ideas like this and flog them until they are dead and devoid of value. It’s just one example, and not one I’d necessarily want as a mainline offer.
However, the sad part is that it would actually be more valuable to me than the T5b shards and T4c selector that’s currently showing for the Parker’s Wallet offer for me. Let that sink in.
As far as what they think of us—whether it’s driven by disconnection or sheer disdain—I agree with you here again. If it doesn’t force everyone to reevaluate why they spend precious resources (time and money) on MCOC, then that’s probably a cause for deep introspection in and of itself.
I like how to be thronebreaker and get the best rewards I HAVE to rank up my unduped Venom the Duck to rank 3. Considering RNG has given me one cosmic champion from 29 6* crystals and all my t5cc fragments have line up for that one class. Seems like a pretty big coincidence to me and its pretty demotivating.
From a revenue perspective every year I have whaled out first time since 2016 I’m not doing so. Kabam there are more Cav players out there than TB why cater to only a certain group? I can not speak for everyone but if you would of dropped the same deals for both parties or close to them you probably went into emergency maintenance bc the Cav Community would broke the bank not the TB group. Alot great players are Cav guys that have completed act 6 still hunting for more material to get to TB a lot players have saved units just for this day only but this by far is one of the biggest disappointments that you rolled out I made it through the 12.0 debacle several boycotts but this is def up there. Congrats Kabam you just made a majority of your Customers unsatisfied in your biggest player base. Just a small reminder the hardest monthly difficulty in EQ is called “Cavalier”difficulty not TB.
@DrZola you’re right that the offers aren’t additive, but they evolve to stay relevant to the game’s meta. The game’s meta has the same prized resources now that it did in July - t5 and 6-star shards. Those resources are easier to get in game, so the expectation (reasonable IMO) was that they’d be more available today. Instead, they’re weirdly less available.
Here’s a question no one should ever have to ask: how many cavalier summoners would rather re-buy July 4 offers than this weekend’s offers?
I’d spend 5000 units and probably cash on a rehash of those. I spent neither.
Along similar lines, Kabam had months to say that those offers were exceptional bc TB players hadn’t been separated from cavs. They didn’t.
Be interested to see if they will change the offers for us Cav players in a few hours. If so compensation packages will be legally needed to be given out to those who have bought offers due to this.
Play the game for about 4 years and this is my first post. It’s also my first time I feel that I am gonna loss my motivation to keep playing the game. I’m not a F2P by the way.

Given from the past experience. Not gonna happen...
Seeing a lot of first timers posting to this thread. It was my first post last night too. That should say something about what a total miss this was. It’s prob a clown thing to say given their history, but I hope Kabam does the right thing by their players and changes this somehow.
They KNEW what they were doing with this. This wasn't a mistake or them not knowing what we want/need. This was a chosen move by Kabam. For what reason? I have no idea. But someone there will know why they did it and I'd bet it's a move to make more money from poss the biggest % of spending players in the future. Does that make it ok with us? No! It actually makes it worse that they have done this on purpose! THAT is why they're staying quiet because they fully expected a kick off. They pre-warned us!

And that's fine... They're just... Not gonna get a lot of money.
That’s where you’re wrong, and that’s why we’re in this mess. They’ll get loads of money from fewer sources, and they’ve made that choice. What I don’t understand is that they could have had that money without alienating half the players.
I want to thank you all for your feedback. I completely understand where our Cavalier players are coming from today (I'm a Cav player as well), and I wanted to let you know that I am going to be talking to the team about this, so we can learn from it for the future.

Same here. Never thought of typing anything here. Just a silent watcher. Lost interest in the game.

Does that mean any imminent change?
Unless by 'future' you mean 'later today' then I think you can count on a lot less money hitting Kabam's coffers this Christmas. I'm guessing 'the team' will find that out as the weekend rolls along.

Y'all really made it a pretty easy decision for us.
I’m really just hoping that Kabam will come out with some sort of explanation or response to all the negativity, granted it probably won’t do much. Still, I’d like to see that our opinion was validated in some regards. Especially since they’re closing other threads like this one. C’mon Kabam!
So I'm someone who has left and come back to the game a lot over the years. This past July 4th, I was Uncollected, and spent on the game for the first time. I have become a somewhat regular spender (eh wth, popping featured cavs and getting extra shards with them is fun), have gotten ridiculously lucky from all the challenges this past summer/fall and got a **** ton of Cosmic t5cc (spent I believe once on a t5cc fragment selector to get other items in the deal). I became Cavalier at some point in the summer as well, and eagerly looked forward to spending (yes you read that right, I'm blessed to have the ability to do so...or I'm just plain stupid lol) on Cyber Weekend after seeing the Cavalier July 4th deals/offers.
Now, I am in the small majority in which the Cav deals yesterday gave me exactly what I was looking for with regards to my roster - I was able to r5 and sig 200 my 5* Doom, r5/200 Colossus, r5 Magneto, r5/200 CMM, and got lucky (again) and got the 4500 Cosmic t5cc I needed to guarantee myself Thronebreaker when I beat the Grandmaster and select the final 25% to r3 my 6* Corvus in another week or so (maybe even this weekend, who knows). Heck, a 6* Nexus even gave me a 6* Warlock! Cool beans for Mama.
Regardless of getting exactly what I needed for the now, I am disappointed. *Cavs lost 37,500 6* shards. Saw 15% t5cc turn into 10% t5cc (crystals, not selectors). And then to top it all off and screw over all the f2p players, had more limiting unit cache offers.* Sure, I got what I was immediately looking for, and have gotten insanely lucky with t5cc. But what about *EVERYBODY* else?
Now, for those who are freshly Cav, I believe these deals are pretty good! If your 5* roster is small/undeveloped, what was offered was appropriate. But for everybody else's sake (which is MOST of the Cavalier playerbase), why the heck did you literally take things away? Why did you make almost everything worse? What logic did you have in thinking that giving Cavaliers *less than last time*, and skyrocketing what you give to Thronebreakers (which is somewhat appropriate) was a good idea? You've made so many strides forward since the Spring. Why turn around and sprint back?
Now, I'm not looking for compensation - I got what I needed, I will admit that. But for the love of God give the rest of the Cavaliers what they deserve. They deserve better for the work they put in, and those advanced Cavaliers waiting on enough t5cc or the right champion should be rewarded for their patience and hard work. All you had to do was honestly *keep things the same that they were*. That genuinely would've been enough, and I believe lots of Cavaliers would agree with me. Why you decreased the value/took away what you previously offered is beyond me, and a slap to the face of the community.
For everyone who got screwed over by the deals, I am so sorry. I'm privileged to be able to say I got what I needed. But y'all deserve more, deserve better. Hopefully we get a better response than just Kabam Miike saying "oh I'm a Cav too." Do better Kabam.
This is a game, and it should be skill based. If you complete certain content you get access to better rewards. That makes sense! But when you add, get a 6* rank 3 to get it, that’s Kabam saying, yeah your skills don’t matter. I finished ACT 6, and I am 2700 shards away from ranking up a 6* to rank 3. I was hoping I would be able to get the opportunity to finally get those shards. I understand they want to differentiate, but there is a difference between a cavalier who finishes ACT and someone who haven’t. Maybe some cav players aren’t as mad, because they still got work to do, but some are already done with ACT 6, just waiting on very few shards, and that is annoying as hell. Anyways, just wanted to share my opinion and my concern on the lack of opportunity from Kabam for us to catch up.
