Kabam had months to manage expectations and chose not to. If a cavalier offer in July was X, then history gives us every reason to expect X+2 in November. Instead we somehow got X-2. T5cc, t5b, shards and stones are LESS available than they were 5 months ago even though they’re more easily obtained in game. That’s indefensible.
However, the sad part is that it would actually be more valuable to me than the T5b shards and T4c selector that’s currently showing for the Parker’s Wallet offer for me. Let that sink in.
As far as what they think of us—whether it’s driven by disconnection or sheer disdain—I agree with you here again. If it doesn’t force everyone to reevaluate why they spend precious resources (time and money) on MCOC, then that’s probably a cause for deep introspection in and of itself.

Here’s a question no one should ever have to ask: how many cavalier summoners would rather re-buy July 4 offers than this weekend’s offers?
I’d spend 5000 units and probably cash on a rehash of those. I spent neither.
Along similar lines, Kabam had months to say that those offers were exceptional bc TB players hadn’t been separated from cavs. They didn’t.
This wasn't a mistake or them not knowing what we want/need. This was a chosen move by Kabam.
For what reason? I have no idea. But someone there will know why they did it and I'd bet it's a move to make more money from poss the biggest % of spending players in the future.
Does that make it ok with us?
No! It actually makes it worse that they have done this on purpose!
THAT is why they're staying quiet because they fully expected a kick off. They pre-warned us!
So I'm someone who has left and come back to the game a lot over the years. This past July 4th, I was Uncollected, and spent on the game for the first time. I have become a somewhat regular spender (eh wth, popping featured cavs and getting extra shards with them is fun), have gotten ridiculously lucky from all the challenges this past summer/fall and got a **** ton of Cosmic t5cc (spent I believe once on a t5cc fragment selector to get other items in the deal). I became Cavalier at some point in the summer as well, and eagerly looked forward to spending (yes you read that right, I'm blessed to have the ability to do so...or I'm just plain stupid lol) on Cyber Weekend after seeing the Cavalier July 4th deals/offers.
Now, I am in the small majority in which the Cav deals yesterday gave me exactly what I was looking for with regards to my roster - I was able to r5 and sig 200 my 5* Doom, r5/200 Colossus, r5 Magneto, r5/200 CMM, and got lucky (again) and got the 4500 Cosmic t5cc I needed to guarantee myself Thronebreaker when I beat the Grandmaster and select the final 25% to r3 my 6* Corvus in another week or so (maybe even this weekend, who knows). Heck, a 6* Nexus even gave me a 6* Warlock! Cool beans for Mama.
Regardless of getting exactly what I needed for the now, I am disappointed. *Cavs lost 37,500 6* shards. Saw 15% t5cc turn into 10% t5cc (crystals, not selectors). And then to top it all off and screw over all the f2p players, had more limiting unit cache offers.* Sure, I got what I was immediately looking for, and have gotten insanely lucky with t5cc. But what about *EVERYBODY* else?
Now, for those who are freshly Cav, I believe these deals are pretty good! If your 5* roster is small/undeveloped, what was offered was appropriate. But for everybody else's sake (which is MOST of the Cavalier playerbase), why the heck did you literally take things away? Why did you make almost everything worse? What logic did you have in thinking that giving Cavaliers *less than last time*, and skyrocketing what you give to Thronebreakers (which is somewhat appropriate) was a good idea? You've made so many strides forward since the Spring. Why turn around and sprint back?
Now, I'm not looking for compensation - I got what I needed, I will admit that. But for the love of God give the rest of the Cavaliers what they deserve. They deserve better for the work they put in, and those advanced Cavaliers waiting on enough t5cc or the right champion should be rewarded for their patience and hard work. All you had to do was honestly *keep things the same that they were*. That genuinely would've been enough, and I believe lots of Cavaliers would agree with me. Why you decreased the value/took away what you previously offered is beyond me, and a slap to the face of the community.
For everyone who got screwed over by the deals, I am so sorry. I'm privileged to be able to say I got what I needed. But y'all deserve more, deserve better. Hopefully we get a better response than just Kabam Miike saying "oh I'm a Cav too." Do better Kabam.
