Variant 7 is way too easy

For completion, at least. But looking at all the nodes, exploring Variant 7 looks easy as well.

Not surprised, Variants have been easy as rosters progress. The difficulty of the variants will constantly decline, because they stay at a static level of difficulty, while your rosters only increase in strength.

Yeah this looks like a joke lol. I get variants are meant for like cav level players, but I don't think there is a single challenging path

Kabam really doesn't have a choice anymore. If they make something challenging all they'll get is people complaining the rewards aren't worth the effort from people who probably aren't ready for it. This group tends to be the larger group.

If they don't make it challenging at all then people fly through it and are bored again in a day or 2. And those same types say the rewards aren't worth the effort.

No matter what they do, it's going to get complaints. Content a lose/lose for them.

It is extremely easy, but I have to admit it's fun as hell. All the increased attack puts a smile on my face, even tho it's not actually challenging at all. Hopefully 7.2 and _____ of Pain will fit the challenging criteria.

It was ok, i did completion already but i didn't think it was too easy or hard if you got a stack roster of 6 star rank 3 then its a breeze so for the top 10% of players they will find it easy but for the average joe it will be fun with some challenge. As for myself i have 120 6 star champ and 14 rank 3s so i didn't have any issue i think i used 2 revive on total completion and i had fun doing it which i think games should be fun anyone looking for a challenge try doing abyss item-less or do cav difficulty with 4 star rank 4 champs item-less that should be challenging.

What kabam needs is to hire more people. So we can get fun content like this as frequent as we get it. And challenging content more frequently. If we can get 3 variants and 3 challenging endgame content a year I'd say thats good.

I think it's good enough for Uncollected and above.
It's totally roster dependent.
If you have some good counters it feels easy.

I like these variant contents more than story.

sure it's easy when you have ALL of the proper counters. but not every player does. so the complaint should be it's easy "FOR YOU". and it should be if you have the majority of the top level champs in each class. for example, an Abyss run is arguably easier for someone with a R3 maxed Aegon than one without. same content for both but the difficulty of it from two different perspectives will vary.

Honestly depends on your roster. My roster is stacked with mutants and the first 2 were so damn easy but I do not have a good viable tech Hero champ at all and hate the second chapter but managed to get through it by only using skill, exploration seems a bit difficult for me for 2.1 and 2.2. As for the last two, some nodes are still a headache with class restriction, node and my roster. So yeah to sum it up, this one depends a lot on the roster.

I guess kabam can bring quests with nodes and defender based on player ratings. That way top players don't feel bored and low level players like me don't get worked up too much. @Kabam Miike

There's been a slight difficulty increase from V4 to V5. According to Kabam at least. Either way I'm happy with the way Variants are right now.
I spent a few revives and gealth potions here and there, but nothing too difficult (Save for the What's yours is mine path in V6, but luckily it's been removed one week into the event).

This is a bad take, you just have to look over the nodes and paths to see difficulty independent of roster. Paths that have a bunch of bleed/poison vulnerability are easier than the paths that have starburst/degen for example.

Objectively, is variant one harder, easier or the same as variant 7? What about the other variants?

My experience has been getting easier, of course in part to my roster developing but I always thought variant 1 is objectively the hardest still, which is why people still leave it to last.

I mean, when people say which variant should I do most people suggest reverse order, 6 down to 1, which suggest it’s been getting easier, not staying the same
