Just to prove a point that not all champs have to be "god" tier.
Prof Hoff: 7-Star Titania Is Worth The Rank-Up!
If I am not allowed to paraphrase, you are certainly not allowed to claim I am putting words in your mouth, when at no time did I misquote you. I said you implied everyone who disagrees with your crystal opening strategy was a fool or an idiot. Which is an inference that is very obviously being made repeatedly. It is the fact that you seem surprised or offended by this reaction, when it should be the obvious one, that is what I'm pointing out. There's a lot of ways in which the forums could improve. No one has done more to try to push the forums in more positive directions in general and has spoken out on the subject as often. However, this is a two-way street. The forums can be much more accommodating, but the individuals who decide to participate on the forums also have a responsibility to participate in a reasonable manner. Less for you, and more for any onlookers who might benefit from this discussion, it is important to always remember that the point and purpose to the forums is to offer an opportunity for player to player discussion. Every time you launch a post into the forums, there are other people on the other side of the screen. They are going to read your words, not your intentions. They are going to have their own perspectives, not adopt yours. And no matter how much you think you have the pulse of the community, you almost certainly do not. I'm exposed to a vast range of player opinions, and even I am living in a bubble. Its a huge bubble compared to many other players, but it still doesn't encompass everything.
Even in jest, much less when you're actually serious, when you say things like you're the only person that realizes the truth, you make an enemy of everyone else. If that's your goal, gratz. Just don't act surprised when the forums you demean turn on you.
The forums have rules, and it also has a culture separate from the rules. And one of the few things the forums almost universally agree upon, among people who rarely agree about anything, is that it does not suffer smart alecs. If you assert you're right and everyone else is wrong, you'd better actually be right. If you're not, the forums are unlikely to offer mulligans there.
Also, PSA: never mention the law unless you're a lawyer. If you're not a lawyer, you probably have no idea what you're talking about. In a court of law my statement about your implications would be matters of opinion. I would therefore only need to justify them with a reasonable line of thought that I could claim to believe. Which I have. You would have no basis to refute that with your own opinion, because I am not required to know or care about your opinions when I state my own. This presumes some hypothetical in which my statements would even be a matter for adjudication in the first place. In the US, the court system is not in the business of deciding academic or theoretical disputes.

Well OP, are you done with this hatchet job yet? Congrats you’ve fooled nobody, and proven nothing.
The second you start making generalizations and judging the choices of others, you're opening yourself up to scrutiny.
There is a tactful way to disagree, and one that causes friction. The latter is one that results from making insinuations about peoples' choices to open them.
For example, if someone expresses that they feel the pool is decent and you disagree, you have the freedom to do so. You're probably going to be met with debate, but you have that freedom.
What you can't do without resistance is start making assertions just because people don't agree with your stance. You can try it, but it's going to make strange bedfellows.
And personally I’d rather save them for when God tier champs are added to the pool.
Patience is a virtue.
Not to mention only 16 of those were even saying it could have been better.
And not to mention that “could have been better” does not mean the person thinks the pool was bad. I am ecstatic about a few of my pulls, but it still could have been better. And that’s because I haven’t pulled my top 3 options yet, but it doesn’t make it a bad pool, just makes it a bad poll.
You’re using a poor result of a poor sample size in a poorly worded poll to fit a point that the people answering said poll may not agree with.
(Ironically, I am ecstatic about my Gambit, he’s awesome for BGs, has amazing prestige when duped, and really cool utility. If I dupe mine, I’m R2ing him)
-There are god tier champs in this pool
-this is your best chance to get them
-I’ve never seen the community so unified against any opinion, there are people who argue each other daily, agreeing that this take is terrible
Take your own advice OP. Be better, and maybe the next time you have a take post it as a discussion and not a biased poll insulting everyone who disagrees.
