It's not rigged, it's democracy, many options, folks didn't knew much about most of the options there, they went with what they hear and see. All popular options like Blob, Shriek, Ruby and Viper lost. Maybe it was too divided on the fight that the lower onces went up the ladder.
As long as the champ turns out good, there's no issues. Also good that more unknown champs would get the recognition.
Hey, i just banned you in game for 30 days. Don't you ever come into our forums and spread your hateful homophobic nonsense ever again. That is not welcome here, and if that's how you want to act, you're not welcome here or in our game either.
The game has turned into something incomprehensible. This rainbow flag is being forced on us. I have always been a neutral person. But this has already reached the point of absurdity when a person is banned for his opinion. Why do you only feel sorry for homosexuals? Why don't you care about the position of normal people? (yes, yes, normal)
Nah, don't lie to yourself, you are not neutral. You have been quiet about it which is completely different. The hate and ignorance was always there. You think someone is being banned for his opinion, an opinion that no one ever asked for. Want to talk about the game go ahead, want to flame up the game go ahead. Insulting people's life choices over being upset at the game? Rofl... In what world do you think you are normal? Normal people live and let live, you were just taught to hate. Your parents probably didn't love you enough to teach you that.

LGBTQIA are normal. Go back to your twitter echo chamber where disgusting individuals like yourself thrive unfortunately.

This is the best thing Ive read all day. Someone performing acts of hate speech because they didnt get what they want in a mobile video game, and then one lone person trying to defend it

I would say that thinking you’re normal and people of other orientations are not normal is not a neutral position. And no one gets banned for expressing an opinion. A lot of people have expressed the same opinion you have and haven’t been banned. While I didn’t see the OP, all the hate speech I have seen draw a ban hasn’t been expressing an opinion, it has been extremely inflammatory and derogatory.
The fact that you see this as some special treatment of some flag is a you problem, not an MCOC problem. I would feel the same way if the hate speech was about black people, Asian people, Muslims, women, the disabled, or any other disadvantaged or marginalized segment of the population that has historically been the subject of discrimination and violence. Most of them don’t have flags. And I’m pretty sure equally egregious speech targeting any of those groups would get equally harsh treatment. As it should.
In the US and in most parts of the world, you have a right to be a bigot. But that doesn’t mean anyone else has to accept that bigotry. The fact that Kabam takes a stand against it is something I find very comprehensible. It doesn’t turn the game into anything. At least not for most of the normal people. Normal people are never going to be burdened by these disciplinary actions. Only the abnormally heinous will.
@Kabam Miike wow I have to say that is an abuse of power to ban a customer in game for words on a forum..the forum and the game are two different entities and doing what you did is not right..if something had been said on the global chat then apply your terms and services to that but this is a website..you represent a business and should put your personal beliefs and emotions aside and only apply to what you are policing..you are moderating a forum so apply your ban to account here..these tactics are wrong and seem to intimidate others from saying something that you may use your power to affect them in game
This is, and will always be, an all-inclusive space. They only act in-game for the most egregious behavior, but homophobic, racist, or otherwise ignorant speech is egregious. This is not a place where you can say whatever you want without consequence. If you want to use their product, you have to respect that.
I can't believe that Blob with such a big fun base could lose to a bunch of losers. Kabam changed votes since start, how they did this last year. Where's the real statistics for the summoner's choice. Why don't we see anything? Anyway even if they show real numbers and charts (which doesn't exist) nothing will change.
As kabam said the data was blob wasnt anywhere close to winning he was 20% votes behind second
Nice so he was 3rd. That's a great spot. Best in popular category then. Blob gave chance to other this time, big man with big heart. Deserves a dedicated mutant themed update for this act of kindness.

Nobody is telling you how to think. Nobody is telling you that you need to treat people of a different sexuality differently than you would treat anybody else. Sometimes people suck, regardless of their sexual persuasion. Like you, for example.
A person got banned for hate speech, and you view that as something being forced on “us”? What? Are you actively having a stroke or something? Because that’s the only way I can imagine being this divorced from reality. You make it sound like OP got banned for not treating the LGBTQ+ community better than other people, but that’s not what happened. OP got banned for making a grotesque attack on people who did nothing to deserve it.
Do you know what a *normal* person does in the face of other people’s lifestyle choices? Nothing! It doesn’t impact them at all! If you’re straight, be straight, if you’re not, that’s rad too. Everybody should feel comfortable living their own lives. No reasonable person should care even a little bit. But you’re not a reasonable person.
In regards to the normal comment, there are a plethora of studies showing the increase in acceptance of homosexuality in the last 30-40 years alone in studies examining over 100 countries. There are also findings in such organizations as the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, and the Canadian Psychological Association that support the fact that homosexuality is a normal expression of sexuality. Those findings also contain several key points of observation mimicking heterosexuality, as well as the absence of any sign of mental disorder. So I'd say the "norm" is to not be ignorant.
When you use homophobia as slander, it needs to be cancelled. And boom get banned for 30 days. "30 days" not permanent. I love racists jokes I'm not gonna lie. But there's a time and a place. Online official forums, where all ages participate, is not a place for it. Love internet people who actually know the difference between the two.
I don't know about rigged but i'm thinking i may just not vote and ignore my inbox and the objective unless there is something juicy for voting at all as part of the objectives....don't care for either champ....shouldn't have to be forced to pick something....
Yea I’m not voting …I have no connection with any champ but the blob..hopefully he will still make it to game like white tiger
Are you guys like twin flames ?
What do you mean by that?
The connection, like the netflix docuseries... I am asking cause I never felt connected to onr of my champs, maybe I am the one with issues
I’m sure this has been mentioned in some form or another by now, but if I can try to summarize…
1. Just because you know a champ, or don’t know a champ doesn’t make the “known” champ more popular than the unknown — or it could be people want to see what the “unknown” champ is about
2. What does Kabam gain by rigging a vote and giving us a champ no one wants? Simple logic says less popular champs bring in less money
3. Possible rigging by someone spinning up bots. I’m a computer science guy, so I can tell you something like that would involve a lot more tech and resources than just typing “bot to rig online polls” into Google and clicking a button. And I would think anyone smart enough to pull it off would spend their resources doing something more productive — unless the goal is to piss off strangers on the internet… which I think we can all agree can be accomplished by simpler means.
My 2 cents for what they’re worth — prolly less with inflation…

Being abusive to other players and inappropriate language is what was actually in the responses to me by other people on the forum so few accounts technically could be banned….the other note number 4 starts off with some serious words ..it says except where restricted or prohibited by applicable law..US law differs from Canadian law..I assume it depends on where the specific case takes place…laws are different everywhere so I assume that’s why this is here…true even in the US a business can reject anyone from say going into their store and then that person can file a lawsuit and it goes back and forth like that..
In the United States you can literally file suit for anything. There is no specific set of things deemed appropriate for civil court. You're required to actually make a case, and you could get immediately tossed for any number of reasons, but when someone says you can sue that's because that is literally the way the US courts work. I could sue you for wasting my time here on the forums. I would lose, but I could do it. Similarly, you could sue them for banning you. You would lose, but you could do it, because in America you can sue God for making it rain on your picnic.
As to the conduct in this thread, nothing I see here rises to the level of being a bannable offense. People throw around the "be consistent" thing all the time, but here in the real world there's such a thing as discretion. Even when the strict letter of the law is broken, there are degrees of problematic behavior, and some can be safely ignored, some deserve a warning, some deserve forum time out, some draw permanent forum bans, and some draw game account bans. Given what happens on the forums every day, if Miike drew the ban hammer, the OP must have gone way over the line.
Moderators everywhere must exercise judgment. I have been given forum warnings myself in the past. I didn't always agree with them, but I recognize the moderators have a difficult job, and discretion when it comes to warnings and bans have very blurry lines. I have never gone anywhere near the line that would get me permanently banned from the forums or any sort of ban from the game, nor do I have any desire to do so. It would never occur to me to do any of those things, and frankly the idea that such behavior should be normalized, like hey, its occasionally going to happen to the best of us, is something I don't subscribe to. Nobody accidentally trips and becomes a horrible person on their way to the sidewalk.
There's a line that if you cross it there's only two possibilities: they did it deliberately in which case they're a monster. Or they did it accidentally in which case we should presume they'll be doing it over and over again because they are an idiot. In either case, a strict punitive response is warranted. Honestly, they are lucky they were not permanently banned. I personally cannot imagine anything that would cause me to want to ban a player from the game for abusive conduct, that I would judge as worthy of a thirty day ban. There's a week for something that rides the line but needs action taken. And then there's nuke from orbit, and by all means stand there and let the door hit you on the way out, because I intend for that door to be moving at hypersonic speed when it strikes.
Miike was probably more merciful than I would have been.
That’s scary…you would do more then a 30 day ban…honest question..how would you feel if kabam tracked him down and made him lose his job for his post? If you had the power would you take more from this person then just access to the game?
Oh you definitely weren't here when that one kid went off and they may or may not have found his school, called them and told them what this kid was saying online so his mom could find out

Dude didn’t see the actual homophobic post so the rest probably sounds like overkill.
It’s getting taken way out of context with the amount of posts getting removed from it.
The other reason is because the rest of the drama happened after hours.
Another member of the forum responded to this thread with no context because these posts were deleted, and got trashed for pages not knowing that?
