This defense tactic is literally impossible… you can’t dex specials or they gain indestructible. You can’t block specials or they gain 15% of a bar of power. It’s better off to just let yourself die and start again over trying to remove these indestructible passives
It is insane. I got stuck on a NF with Hazard Shift in war. It became impossible to remove the indestructible buffs at a rate faster than he would gain them, and so he didn’t even lose health in second form.
People don’t complain as much anymore probably because they just deal with it, but failed parries/dropped inputs still happen quite a bit.
Some of us stopped complaining because Kabam stopped listening. Personally, I get my comments taken down and get warnings for saying things Kabam doesn’t want to hear. And I’m very very cordial in my approach. Whenever something as anti-player as this War tactic comes about, Kabam typically drags their feet in fixing it. I’d rather be wrong, but I suspect this will be at least a very ugly and low-participating upcoming War season. Kabam has lost touch with the players on what we find fun in this game. Our time spent in the game has even been declared as “not a valuable resource”… so we’re likely gonna have to suffer through this with little to no changes made, realistically.
Wonder which mode kabaam will kill first. War or bg? I mean it won't die but war will have 20-25 alliances using items and 50 points in gc will get you mysterium in a few months
it's so bad they've even lost touch with veteran war players with years of t1 experience. the sudden difficulty change is so snobby and elitist, like who is this even targeted to?
This is the exact same node from a few seasons ago that was just slightly reworked and introduced again. They didn't learned from their past mistakes it seems ...

( it’s 2024 and we still have to switch masteries for every placement due to mysterious reasons).

AW is a joke. Bottomline unplayable. The previous one was bad but this is ridiculous.
It's not enough that they dumped Persistant Placement on us full of defaults. No word to address any of the feedback the community gave on it. Members locked out of placement. Officers not able to remove defenders from bgs themselves.

-2 broken globals in a row -4 busted defenders in 4 months not including photon -breaking the system with crush, then selling a solution by separating t1 and 2 and branding t1 as "elite", which no one wanted or asked for
seasons had plenty of issues over the years like piloting, big shakeups like defender diversity, outdated potions, and switching currencies, but it managed to hold together fine for 6 years and now suddenly it's being turned into a luxury mode crafted for the finest players.
"if you don't like it you can quit" is what i'm hearing.

War im in we have a kate bishop on that node its bad like im just healing her than damaging
Kabam thinks every alliance has a war planner officer beyond t5 wars. Its not true, not everyone has time to do so, but as said before, who cares about time anyway. The average allies will keep scoring like 60 deaths per BG and thats it

I don't think it's about planning . The nodes are not doable even if u plan . There are tons of interactions where u cannot get the defender down.. it's a **** tactic what was not tested and thrown to us... What Kabam should have used as Attack Tactic Should say "Pay 5 Dollars to solo the defender " use that tactic for perfect war.

I run path 9. There aren’t a lot of immunity options for the hazard shifts. Any plan to mitigate those?
Same here - it's **** - like 4 attackers and half will probably be banned. Would like to see devs do every path with tactics to show us how reasonable they are before release.
Watch kabam take a few days to respond this and only fixing the bug about the indestructible not being removed and completely ignoring the other bad interactions, such as the unblockable nodes/champions
Either kabam not learned their lesson or this is completely intentional as an attempt to drive more and more item usage in AW, when Crush was announced, kabam said they were going to bring back some older defense tactic and this current tactic is a copycat of Stubborn, which was also hated back in 2019-2020
i'm concerned that kabam will keep this tactic the way it is for 2 months and the next tactic will be another one that was hated and just giving another name/champs tags
