Welcome to the Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K.

Ever since M.O.D.O.K. established his Hotel, he’s been working tirelessly on his experimental Champions. But the Hotel is no place for his creations to live, so he’s been sending them off to a secret secluded island to run free.

Now the time has come for M.O.D.O.K. to harvest the fruits of his labor, and it’s up to the Summoner to drop in and collect some samples for M.O.D.O.K. to study!

Collect Samples and get Gold Coins!

Every day, you’ll receive a Sample Collector from a Special Log In Calendar and use them to enter Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. Quests! Choose one of 6 class related paths, each with 6 fights (plus the Boss). Complete the Quest, to earn Crystal Shards, Gold, and special Gold Coins that can be spent in the M.O.D.O.K. Hotel Store!

These Quests feature no energy costs, and you can use multiple Sample Collectors to enter it as many times as you want, though you only get one per day. This means that you can do all Quests for the month in one day, as long as you log in and collect the Sample Collector every day.

Like past “Lab” events, each of the fights will draw a pool of 1-3 randomized buffs (based on the difficulty). You can use a Buff Randomizer item (available in the store) to change the set of Buffs. If there is a particular Buff that you think could be trouble, you can use a brand new Buff Deleter to remove it. Don’t be too hasty to remove a Buff though! Buff Deleters can only be purchased for Gold Coins in the M.O.D.O.K. Hotel Store.

Remember to update to version 27.2 before 4 pm PT on June 2nd to ensure you do not miss out on the first day of the Sample Collector Calendar!

Rewards

For each Quest completion, you will earn:

Class Use Solo Events

Doctor M.O.D.O.K. challenges you to use certain classes on certain days. Win fights with a specific Champion of the day to earn bonus points, and earn even more points by using the class of the day in the Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. quests! There won’t be any Rank Rewards, but you’ll earn more Gold Coins to spend in the Hotel M.O.D.O.K. Store by completing the Milestones!

M.O.D.O.K. needs his beauty sleep and will not provide a Class Use event on Sundays.

M.O.D.O.K. Contracts

13 Special Objectives will appear at random times throughout the month! Complete these “Contracts” by finding and defeating the Champions listed on the Special Objective, and collect even more Gold Coins as a reward. These could appear at any time, so keep an eye on your Special Objectives!

Hotel M.O.D.O.K. Store

Similar to the Squirrel Store, you’ll be able to select the rewards you would like to purchase. However, this time, you will not be able to purchase everything in the Store! There will be 3024 Gold Coins available throughout the event (completing Epic Difficulty of the Island of Doctor M.O.D.O.K. every time, and the Veteran Solo Events), so choose wisely!

Remember! This event starts on June 3rd! Make sure you update to version 27.1 before 4 pm PT on June 2ndto ensure you do not miss out on the first day of the Sample Collector Calendar!

I don’t get why whenever we’re given the opportunity to get 5* sig stones it’s the opposite of taking candy from a baby. They should allow us to get them so easily if they let us purchase 2 a day that’s still only enough to (potentially) get 3 max sig champions (for a 5*) and there’s over 20 champs released a year. It’s so hard as an f2p to get champs as it is, I’m never going to be able to max sig more than 10 a year if there’s no change

This makes me thinking about ignoring the event apart from potions nothing is attractive enough. Rewards seem like a punishment for those who aren't uncollected. Even uncollected and cavalier rewards are meh. Disappointing...

If you updated after collecting the rewards from the regular Calendar, you won't see the Calendar until reset tomorrow. But don't worry... You'll get a couple Sample Collectors in the mail tomorrow when the event starts.

So, the real question is, did you update after the reset?

Hey everybody,

Nothing to say right now, but I've raised this with the team. This is an event that is live tomorrow, so I'm not sure what is possible/if anything is possible.
Oh then why didn't kabam posted the announcement earlier?
I know this is later than usual, but there's been a lot going on lately that has required our attention. That one is on me, and I apologize for that.

Okey I understand there are some issues having these days releted to redroom and you guys are fixing it....but I think quantity of the rewards are not much this month almost expecting 6k 6* shards and getta pull 3_4 5* on one month...but it's not much we get....I like moleman event rewards it's pretty awsome....I think Awakining gem is the only worthy rewards of this event...I am uncollected and I think now we have to moveon from 4* champs to 5* or 6* seems it's the time to get more champs so we can go for cav and act 6 but somehow I have 20 trash 5* champ in my list and 4 good champs which are okey type champ can't expect much to take them r5 hope we get something like nexus 5* in event soon or champion selector of 5*

@Kabam Miike surely you can just add some better cavalier and uncollected rewards into the coding and send out a mini update. The rewards are poor to say the least

Kabam team, we need better rewards then this. It is really disheartening to see a quest with such underwhelming rewards. That too after soo much discussion happening and feedback from summoners last month about burnout and game becoming boring, still these rewards what you give us. If you think to give 10,000 intel in the last two days (when clearly we do not have enough time left to gain soo much energy to utilize this intel unless we purchase energy refill) of the may event compensates all that discussion then sadly you still don't get your audience...

We love this game and want to continue with the same enthusiasm and love but if you still keep coming up with such quest and rewards it is fading away...

Nothing in this event that will help me with progression on a large scale, seems like im still bound to where I am for another month. I would really appreciate gold however so I can rank up my champs

The worst event of 2020. Super underwhelming. Imo they should postpone it for a week and then release it later after remapping.

Has anybody else already accidentally wasted the sample collector (admission key) for the event. I understand I am silly for the mistake of leaving directly after entering the quest but I never knew I had received the key and never knew the quest required a key.

Kabam should make the admission key consumed only when the player moves a tile. This would eliminate the problem I am discussing.

Modok hotel is live. i used my daily key to open EPIC and content is to hard! will you try to keep some certain balance between the contests? i could easily do Red Room on Epic, but this one with those indexes + buffs...who is it made for? Because top players they not gonna be satisfy with the rewards.. if it suppose to be a challenge... great challenge bring great rewards. I really love the game, but i just don’t get the directions with it. For me... that only brings me down, that Im not good enough to compete. And i should enjoyed playing. Can someone answer : using simple logic: you do epic less harder comparable to other quest and then you crate Variant mode for top top players and make it slightly harder. then you add better rewards for them=everyone happy.

Idunno how to feel about it. I saw the rewards, they are sucky tbh. I'm not saying to put 5* shards in store or all that but maybe if you double the rewards from the quest, we might get the following:

FOR ISLAND OF DOCTOR MODOK EPIC (completing it every 30 days)

Gold Coins: 3600 (Those are enough to purchase the whole store)

6-Star Crystal Shards: 3000 (I know those aren't enough but It's more better than 1500)

5-Star Crystal Shards: 30000 (Perfect for a good prize after beating The Collector)

Gold: 360000 (Good for r4 a 5*, I think so, don't @ me)

Randomizer: 4 (ok epic moment guys)

Remember those would be the rewards from the quest if their prizes were doubled.
I'm just sayin, those rewars would be good for someone who became Uncollected recently.
