This event sucks in every possible way. It's going to be a long boring month
I wouldn’t say the event entirely sucks the epic difficulty was actually pretty fun for me atleast, a little bit of a challenge can be fun but the rewards are just horrible
idk, i wasnt playing at the time of that event so i couldn't verify that. i can understand why ive seen people complain about the other one on the forums before
They were generally 6 25-45k opponents and you couldn’t pick a path that suits you
it depends what boss you get. I got gladiator hulk on one account and hit monkey on the other. hit monkey took 4 revives so yeah a lot harder than last month and the rewards suck.
i just dont see the epic difficulty being worth the time and effort for me as a recent uncollected player. i might just use this month to try and clear the rest of act 5 instead of this. at least the rewards are worth the effort.
@UmbertoDelRio i mean asking for multiple r4 5* gems and a r5 5* gem is a bit much, I mean that is like a dozen t2 alpha 2 t5 basic lots of t4 CC that is just waaaaaay to much to ask for... ever

thats so much higher than recent Epic side events. they must have seemed so easy for you, lol
Did my first Epic entry since I forgot about the class bonus that will appear later. Took the cosmic path and the nodes I had weren’t awful. Mystic ward, ancient knowledge, feats of power. Worst I rolled was masochism, but Doom crushes the entire path. Tigra was a bit annoying to fight because there are so many long animations. Champions scale from about 15k pi to 35k pi, with health hitting mid 100k. Endgame players won’t have any trouble, while those who just got uncollected will have a tough time. Definitely not worth the rewards, but it is what it is I guess
Come on guys ... really ... you know you can do better than that. This are the things that drive people away from the game. This is an awesome game and I believe in you guys. Make it happen please
Example: cavalier and grandmaster crystals, 5&6 sig stones, make us do the job for a 6* A-Gem.
There is not a single positive progression in the game. every month the same events, same bad rewards. no changes at all since about 1-2 years.
AW still sucks, AQ is the same boring cycle again and again.
Incursions r realistically good to rush through only once a month for some gold and shards and thats it.
The only change ->to make story content in act 6 and 7 even harder with rewards not worth at all spending so much time and units to explore the content.
and if you r still dumb enough to clear that content, the crystal and catalyst RNG is horrible.
So u have to get mad twice. Once while clearing that dumb content and then while getting the "rewards" by RNG.
The developers r so crazy out of touch with the player base, it is ridiculous.
I cant believe that their idea of making money is with selling items only and not with creating content which is worth spending units on because it is rewarding you equally to your effort.
I think this game is dying out, maybe they really want that, so everyone should save his money on July 4th.
They are easier than last time, at least. These used to have 5/6 buffs per fight
maybe but they still seem like much harder than recent events. i guess anything asociated with MODOK is a pain in the neck. or at least more of a pain than most stuff
@UmbertoDelRio that may not be that much for someone that far in the game, maybe if those were exclusive to people who have completed act 6 but some people at cavalier don’t even have a r5 and only a couple of r4 5*’s. something like that would be way too much for them
Now that I've been in the labs once, here is my feedback: What exactly do you all hear when we say that this game is too time consuming? You've taken the labs and seemingly added more fights that are in the past labs, without any significant increase (and some might argue a straight up decrease based on the game progression) in rewards? How else do we need to say that the time commitment is too high and the game economy is outdated?
Those 5* sig stones are ridiculously low. I have a full team of rank 5s and it looks like for me to get anywhere near 10k prestige I'm going to actually have to spend money or wait a couple of years.
Overall impressions are... for a developed roster it’s not overly hard. It is annoying reading through all the nodes and picking a path and rerolling the same terrible combinations over and over again, but it’s not hard. This is the same as it always is but actually worse with so many damn paths because now to make sure I’m taking the best path I have to read all the nodes on 6 paths. Then after reading all of them I realize basically they all have some sort of absurd node combination I’ll have to reroll some anyway.
I do believe the increase in paths was an attempt to respond to feedback in previous iterations to give more options but for me it misses the Mark on achieving that.
This event style is the same it always is and has the same issue of uncalibrated rewards as the last time we ran this style of event. The rng difficulty is frustrating, the reroll function is frustrating because it keeps spitting out basically the same nodes over and over sometimes, the difficulty to reward is frustrating, the time dedication of this event is frustrating.
Literally the most frustrating part is when this style event runs the feedback is the exact same EVERYTIME. And yet here we go again. By day 10 of this people are over it and by mid month it becomes a chore. The small tweaks like not having to do daily and more paths for more options do not fix the root of the problem with this style event.
The core idea of the event centered around rng difficulty you cannot plan for and the lack of balance in rewards based on difficulty is the problem. By the end of this month I’ll have achieved less value from this event then I got out of rifts with 100% more effort and frustration. That is a BIG problem.

Long it takes,
Thank god they let it be free energy

I do like that I can get some T2a from the MODOK store. I need some.
