1. Has the game economy completely tanked over the last few months when AQ has been "free"? What purpose does returning AQ Tickets serve besides burning scarce resources? Resources that haven't exactly had a commensurate increase in availability alongside skyrocketing 6-Star Rank Up costs. Why not keep AQ free? I don't think any person has ever thought "I wish I had to spend resources to play a game mode". It's an easy, pro-player choice.
2. Seems like 2 steps forward and 1 step back from an Alliance Management perspective. You've reduced the number of links on the bosses and moved them to be shared across multiple paths, meaning timezones will be less problematic... But then added *another* final boss, meaning that if certain timezones (e.g. Asia/Australia) are asleep over the last 4-8 hours of AQ, there's even more reliance on the awake timezones to complete the "new and stronger threats" than before.
The cost of map 8 is insanity. Is there even enough gold to pay for AQ and rank up champs all in a week's time and still come out a little on the plus side?
I'm game for the removal of the Corvus timeout but can we just remove the fighting time limits from the AQ fights in general? I'm all for finishing the fights as quickly as possible but sometimes the global can make some fights go a bit longer than desired or sometimes the better counter you brought dies and I have useable champs (maybe not ideal) but let me just fight with that champ and have some fun and not penalize me for not die'n with them. Or sometime the boss health pool maybe be a tad bit much for killing with a particular champ but I could go longer than the typical 3 minutes. I'd just like to fight to the death is all whether it be the AQ defender or myself.
One example: I play the Footloose lane, use 5* R5 Corvus on the first BPCW fight. No charges and I don't run suicides so pending the Ai, sometimes that fight lasts the whole 3 minutes. Just let me keep fighting to kill him off w/o penalty or he kills me.
I realize there are other implications for not having a timer on the fight but if anything put a timer on the AQ pausing, not the fighting.
The time constraints are not just for challenge. They're also to ensure the Alliance can work together efficiently. There is a limited time to complete the Map and we all share that time.

The time out is only for Map 8 andI imagine the boss killer cross fights will make it easier to solo minis and bosses. I'm more concerned about the lack of rewards update. The price of potions, t5b, t4b and t1a have been outdated for a while now. We need more glory or a reduction in prices
Eventually the timeout removal will extend to lower maps as stated in the post.
Per the peak milestones Glory is seeing an increase of up to 1100 for full map 8. But even full map 7 should see increases of 600+. It’s being bumped up by 20-33%.

Well that was a read. 300 tickets? That is insane. No glory store update? T5b have been outdated for such a long time its ridiculous. The corvus timeout im happy about. Nothing worse then waiting on people using 30 minutes on a fight. Git gud or got out as my moma always used to say
Glory store updates were usually separate from the AQ season update. They’ll probably tell everyone a few days before so no one has time to plan/hoard.
Edit: what I meant is that while the glory store updated with each passing season, the announcement of price changes would be held until closer to release.

Timeout have always resulted in a loss of 50% health never a death. This is a miss statement so the corvus method is not a bypass. Only reason this works is because of corvus sig abilities. For you to force death on a timeout is not a past practice. Technically you can timeout all champs assuming you never get hit. Also to add in the past before this timeout resulted in no health loss till peeps were cheating AW with for refights.

They've been very upfront with the fact that CG wasn't supposed to be able to do this. They left it in the game as a pro player move until they found a way to fix it. CG cannot do this anywhere else, even in war. There is no need, there is no change of abilities and there's no need for RDTs.
They change how champs interact with nodes all the time by inventing new nodes etc.. this months SEQ limits you to 2 champs to run it, that effects the normal 5 man roster you're usually able to use.
Who in their right mind needs to rank down CG in the first place because of AQ? Maybe, learn how to stop relying on a exploit and get better at the game.

No. It’s designed that way. They want people to use units to buy tickets so they can milk their players for more money. It’s pure greed. The monetisation team is responsible for these ridiculous policies.
🧐 I think removing the corvus time out sets a precedent that can hurt players down the road. We did time outs long before corvus was in the game. Why? Because health potions cost less then revives. If I get into a bad fight, miss a parry off the start or kid jumps on me, I time out or force close in aq. Doesn’t matter if it’s corvus or any champion.
I understand that corvus allowed a lot of players to bypass a lot, but the time out wasn’t the issue it was his signature ability. If I want to time out with a champion at 10% or less health I should be able to without the fear of forking over revives. Currently I bring corvus for one of the three iterations on map 7. That iteration I also bring g99, which is a easy solo on Apoc. So my time outs are very very minimal now a days so I’m not worried about it going away but I disagree with the method that it’s being approached. So next we will get auto KO’d for force closing? Idk, this seems silly to me in the end to make this change globally to effect all champions.

Nothing to be excited for when nothing really changes for me. Even for the top people, it's just more stress they have to go through to tread water.
As for the rewards, it feels very reminiscent of trickle-down economics lol.
