They’re out, guess some people have a lot of grinding to do to get to L40
Pretty sure that Nov 20th requirement kills a lot of those. I'm fine with the lvl and title, the creation I take some issue with. I made an alt I've actually been playing, gifting was certainly in mind but I've played it through act 4 already. It's right around the cutoff but don't see any way of knowing the creation date. If if can't be used I'll just skip spending anything too.
this is extremely unfair and fair. not good against the lower level players, but good against those that have created the new accounts to abuse the gifting event even though it's not against ToS, but kabam was real smart here.
Hope you Xmas humbugs are happy you ruined gifting for all the lower level players. 🤦🏽♂️
Well.... i mean..... kabam shouldve seen this coming, alt farming has been around before MCoC so this isnt anything new. Everyone immediately saw the problems this can cause the minute the Act 1 to 3 update went live. So i'm blaming it on kabam rather than the humbugs

If you can remember when your 7 day sigil trial ended, that should at least get you in the ballpark of if you created the account before the date.
Just for context, Brian Grant’s video was posted on Nov 15th so anyone who made an account at most 5 days after that still has a chance to grind it. I think this is pretty fair, likely dissuades people with tons and tons of accounts to exploit it. But still allows people who want to put time in to gift from alts.
I do think it’s a bit sad for newer players, but it took me two weeks to get my journey to TB challenge account to level 40. And while newer players won’t be that quick, it’s possible to push quite early on. So they have a chance from now until the event starts to get to level 40

Where u got this info mate? So new players cant gift lol.. Lvl 40 is no joke to reach... Kabam clearly doesn't want new players in here.. Majority in here are 5 or 6 years in this game... And this being a very addicting game they will stay... Will be glad if there is any statistics of how many new players join this game and for how long they stay lol( that is impossible to know cause new players here are only 2nd 3rd and 4th acct of old ones) Happy grinding
Need a clarification . I have 2 alts which i created 2 months ago but haven't completed act 4 yet and on level 31 right now . So my both accounts will be eligible for gifting right if i reach the requirements now ?
I mean, I’ve been getting energy refills every second and third run in the latter bit of act three. Still three weeks to get to level 40, which if you’re just running your one account is totally achievable. Might be tougher for people grinding multiple accounts, but I figure that’s their lookout.
I'll be honest. I have 5 accounts made last year. And i started grinding one but after 2 hours i gave up. Got so incredibly bored. I won't be trying to push any to level 40 lol

Yes, those accounts will become eligible for gifting once you reach level 40 and complete Act 4.

Exactly, so the Nov 20th requirement is unnecessary for this. Why should someone who knew about the changes and made multiple accounts be fine but someone who didn't until the whole BG video controversy who made one after seeing it be excluded?

Correct, you will be fine if you meet requirements
There goes all my hope and dreams to get back into this game. Didnt play for 2 years now and kinda missing playing sometimes. I was honestly exited with an opportunity to jump into mcoc again, but nope. Without gifting event its not worth the time trying to play end game anymore.
I'm a little bummed, but not surprised or upset. My only confusion, is what are they going to do next year? Obviously a lot can change in a year, but it seems as though any alts created this year should be able to gift next year, which causes the exact same problem, but removes the easy solution of locking brand new accounts. Rather than being a short term gain, the alts created this year can just be a much longer term benefit

You have the time to reach lv 40 before the event starts

As for actual lower level players... they get what?
