If love a response on these three questions, please, Kabam? 1. You say that the parry timing is different now. Is the ‘window’ where parry works the same length of time as it was before the bugs? 2. Has the timing been changed so that you have to parry earlier than before? 3. Is the parry window consistent - ie, will it work if you parry at a certain point every single time?
Cos it sure feels like you have to parry earlier, and it doesn’t feel consistent! Sometimes a parry will work when you parry at a certain time during the opponent’s attack, but then on another occasion when you feel like you’ve partied early enough you’ll get hit.
Sorry if this has already been touched upon somewhere else but what is the position with regards to the new AW season?
Weekly compensation has been abruptly removed and we as players have been put into a rather precarious position in which we are forced to choose between the current input system which doesn’t work (which why we have a new beta input system) or the new input beta system which doesn’t work because it is a beta.
It has also been widely discussed that the revamped way we gain loyalty looks as if we will accumulate less when comparing to the weekly compensation etc. I do not know anyone else’s view but from our alliance’s perspective this decrease in loyalty is accepted on the premise that the new input system is working I.e. out of beta and we would be using less loyalty as a whole. However In light of the current stance of kabam to remove compensation without completing all beta testing on the new input system, we as an alliance are discussing whether or not it is worth to continue with alliance wars whilst the new input system is still in a beta due to the Increased loyalty costs we are going to incur.
Would be interesting to hear other player’s views on the matter.
@Kabam Miike when you say compensation does that include everyone or just high level ranked players like paragon players and throne breakers or will people who are like conqueror or uncollected be able to claim the compensation as well?

For me, a big problem is the time it takes to throw a special. They AI can take an action, I keep hitting special button (like I always have). I don't throw the special and the AI recovers to smack me in the face. fun...
After Attempting to solo the EOP crossbones using a 3* g2099 for Kt1's challenge I can say that after hours of attempting I've found some issues with the ai and inputs. Sometimes I'll hit into block, dash back and light intercept, others I'll get intercepted on the dashback despite repreating what should work. This comes down to delay in the attack after a dash back coupled with ai that clearly changes how fast it reacts to player actions. Inputs are feeling slightly better than months ago but a lot of work still to go
man, i forgot for a second that this thread was about compensation. considering how bad the issues are, i think we're at the point where we're getting closer to a fix, but still very far away. we can't just stop close to the finish line and not get our weekly compensation anymore.
I don’t know if this is gonna be read and reacted to by kabam but I would love to hear about item use before and after implementation l. If I look at myself I have doubled at least my item use while dropping down a map in aq …
It's always taken time to assess the impact after something has been implemented. Much less something that has been ongoing for months and months.
They’ve had 10 months. They know the impact. This isn’t compensation related to things we weren’t able to achieve because of the input issues. If it’s is please provide the SOP of rewards I missed because I couldn’t dex Emma Frost and hit top milestone, or didn’t do Gauntlet because didn’t want to tackle content as advised because of the input. This is a gesture to the player base for dealing and sticking with the game whilst it’s been broken for nearly a year, and quite frankly still isn’t fixed. In any case they’ve had 10 months to crunch the numbers, see what we’ve done, what we haven’t, sit in board rooms and decide what is an appropriate amount of compensation. They’ve had 10 months, they don’t need anymore time.

Are you new to the game? When have they ever calculated an impact before they considered it resolved?
They haven't been sitting in a room for 10 months trying to come up with a number.
On 2nd May they sent the in game message that compensation was going to stop. The message they deleted from our inboxes as it wasn’t supposed to go out yet. So Kabam have had at least 12 working days to think of a compensation package. In reality the decision was made before the 2nd May that’s just the earliest point we know of that from Kabams view it was resolved. How many weeks/months do you think it takes for the head of game balance to choose what would be a fair and balanced compensation package. We have had to deal with this for 10 months and still dealing with but Kabam thinks it’s all fixed. They will have tracked the impact of the last 10 months, will no what variances in gameplay there has been because of the issues. Any rational company would have had the compensation package ready to at the point they say it’s fixed. This is how acknowledge your customer base in positive way, to make them feel like they matter. To come up with a compensation doesn’t take weeks or months it take minutes to decide and maybe some time to program the drop of the package. Kabam should have had all this lined up, that’s what good customer service looks.

Being displeased with the issues is one thing. Having unrealistic expectations on when they can and cannot have it ready to send out is another. The Email went out early. As of a week ago, the Compensation has stopped. We're talking about 9 or 10 months of an ongoing issue when it can sometimes take anywhere from a week to 3 weeks for issues that exist for less time. Bottom line is, it will come when it comes. The idea that they should have had it ready to send out with that Inbox is just not realistic.

how long do you think they thought about stopping the compensation for? i mean realistically, it shouldn't just be a "oh, we have what we think is an input fix, let's stop the compensation!" kind of thing. they should've looked at the data, seen if the players were responding well to it, and seen if item use went down when players were using it. because if item use stayed the same (or increased), it's clearly not fixed.
also, if they really had found that the issues are fixed to enough of an extent that compensation weekly is no longer necessary, they should've thought ahead with a big compensation package. i understand that it's not going to come out immediately or even within a week, but we could get to the point where it's been 3 or 4 weeks since we've gotten anything, and issues are still persisting
We can argue until the cows come home but the evidence is there. They always consider Comp after the fact, and they said they don't have specific information on when that will be. So we're going to have to wait. Not sure why all of a sudden this should be any different of a case other than lack of patience.

If Kabam thought the game was fixed but did not have the “everything’s fixed, here’s the big thank you for playing a broken game for 10 months compensation package” ready, they should have continued to the weekly one until it was. Back the matter of the actual thread, the problems still exist so the weekly compensation shouldn’t have stopped. If the problems are at our end because we need to get used to the new way of playing, the weekly compensation shouldn’t have been stopped until we are used to it.

"Realistic" is to expect to fix a few (crucial) issues in a mobile game, after 10 months. Even if they started making it from scratch they ll have had already finished it (animations aside).
I've already reiterated the fact that these issues have been very specific, and ongoing, because of a change in their system. It's not Compensation for every input issue in general. The new system is in place at the moment, and open for people to opt out of if they choose. That doesn't mean there won't be other problems. It doesn't mean that it's adequate to keep compensating the same thing for different problems. As for the large Compensation, they said they will give one, and don't have a specific time on it yet. If you think you can change that by arguing with me, I don't know what else to tell you.

Nah, chaos would insue and it'd be global 2.0
You know too much
Everyone.
I’ve submitted roughly 30 so far for the various issues and I am unsure if it is worth my time or effort to continue.
