We had a couple of players take the wrong path, making me take the 50% penalty due to class restrictions. Makes for a long tedious fight, plus have to hope that you don’t get the random fight issues which have been highlighted elsewhere, then die.
This is getting beyond ridiculous. Not just the attack penalty for not bringing appropriate class, the AI is messed up as well. Timed out twice against that heimdall in section 1 on tech/mystic path who was throwing heavy attack after heavy attack. I kid you not. All he did was throw heavies.

You can take minis fully noded, and even on a bad day you can still kill the minis and boss. Mix in a dash of map 5 and you can still end up over 200mil with 4000 glory.
Am I getting less than I got with map 6 using compensation items? Absolutely.
Am I getting more than I’d be getting using glory or other resources to buy potions? Absolutely. And that’s why the resource meta is broken. I come out ahead by doing less.
Meanwhile we’re 400 posts into this topic. A quarter of them are mine, I assume, but all we’ve heard is “nothing to report at this time.” They could have easily removed 1-2 class nodes per section and dropped power snack from PS2 to PS1 and we probably would’ve accepted it.
But map 5 is annoying me even more. They literally filled it with the most annoying defenders in all rotations. With all the characters in the game they found it reasonable to stick Chavez, Mr Negative, Sauron, Mangog, Overseer, Prof X, Toad, Kraven, Kitty, Purgatory and the list goes on.
Everywhere you turn it's a pain in the neck defender. Used to be you got maybe one a bit trickier per lane but they littered the whole map with them now. It's one on top of the other. C'mon.
Literally... who do you put in map 8 then?
Just too annoying. Map 5 shouldn't feel like a monthly side quest. It's what side quests are for.
Wrong in so many levels and way too greedy to want to extract revives from map 5 playerd this way.

Lol. I’ve mentioned it on the previous time we had this map. It feels like they copied one of the AW tier1 maps, where the other team try really hard to block you. They spent a lot of time and thinking on how to break our spirit.
We have just had another BG who have been doing Map 6 for ages not complete the last 2 runs. The class restrictions are causing problems. They have run out of items. Will be switching to straight Map 5 next time.
There are assigned paths, but because of the spare people it ends up creating confusion. When players are online is variable so the ‘spare’ players end up taking different paths, which then alters the paths the others take.
These are player with 1.5-2.5 million accounts. Maybe this is the new ‘mid-teir’. They have pushed them out of Map 6 whether intentional or not.
Not sure how many new cycles we got so far (5 maybe?), but I can confidently say, map 6 sucks, node combination + champions placement sucks. I know you guys had to adjust the health and attack values to awards same amount of points, but this made it worse, and fights are being timedout left right and center. this is a chore boring tedious quest that you do everyday, doesn't have to take so long to do your contribution each day, map 7 is much easier beside the time management thing (9 ppl needs to be super active to complete it) something needs to be done, and it should come soon, very soon.
What's the point of having the science champ buff if only like 3 people can benefit
That’s actually a very good point. They made all these stupid changes, ghost us, and forgot about the global which barley made sense before but now is just silly… 1-2 people on a science path benefit from the GLOBAL but no one else due to class restrictions…
The most funny thing ist that we were around place 600 playing Full 88866, 66666 and 66666 with HMMEE mods. After the update we are close to place 500 with full Map6 and HMMEE.
Looks like a lot of alliances don't like to play higher maps anymore because of the update.
@Kabam Miike you asked what changes would help to make Map5 more likeable. Here is the answer for Map6:
Remove class restrictions, remove stupid nodes for defenders who are placed "perfect" on this nodes and make the defenders more aggressive and likeable to throw specials.
AQ potions need to evened out with war potions. Level 4 and team potions should be in the glory store for this nonsense.
Using glory on pots defeats most of the purpose of AQ. We dropped from 655 to 555 and lost one tier of rank. It cost us 100 glory. Any pot bought in the glory store would've cost more than double the glory that we lost by dropping down.
Are we ever going to get a simple response “no we’re not changing map6, deal with it” or “hang tight, we have a plan, it just takes a while to implement”. 14 pages of comments on how this sucks (and it really does because the combination of the new node structure, the Change in passivity in the ai and the dropped inputs without comp makes this an item fest) should at least warrant a response. Really kabam, we just want to know how you plan to action this, if at all, after all these weeks. Thanks
