Kabam I grinded for 2 months to get gold I played 7.1,7.2,7.3 variants and avoided rank ups for these times I also wasted time I could have spent anywhere else so that I get enough gold for this event and u say nothing about the event but come a day before and say no gold offers so all the time I put in the game is useless so I say put the offers or u will get alot of people angry cause the time they out is simply alot and u refused to tell us not to grind like this also I don't care about a damn Deadpool champ he is useless and terrible why would I grind for it but I need these offers so do alot of people
At this point it feels like they are taking everything they gave free before and try to sell it waaay overpriced. I really wanna contribute for game keep running but I don't wanna feel like I'm robbed. If you look for something to buy maybe 2-3 piggy banks and cav nexus deals can be considered but nothing else worth it. Is Deadpool capable of doing any end game content besides variant 8 or something that I don't know for almost 8 years ?

All they would say is “We tried to tell you there wouldn’t be gold deals. Deals change all the time. We have let the team know your feelings and will take it into account the next time we do something similar.”
Everyone gets a million gold and some units for one fight, so it's not a complete waste, but it's a lost opportunity. You have a player base that has been pretty frustrated and was obviously looking forward to this event. Why not build some good will? They could have kept all the unit offers. I'd have probably bought one. I'm not mad and I think some of the reactions are over the top. But I can't help thinking that they'd have done much better on the cash deals if they also included the very popular gold offers.
I think a lot people are focused on FTP are getting hit by not having the offer. But as someone who does spend money on the game, I was looking forward to the gold offer. Its demoralizing not to have them and then a double smack in the face is the unit offers stink

Idk what you are expecting them to say. The event is what it is and it’s not going to change. Jax and Miike (the mods) know how the players feel but they also know that the people who makes the decisions at kabam don’t care how the players feel. Kabam actions speak for themselves at this point. The things you want you’re going to have to spend for them or spend ungodly amount of time grinding content for them. There will be no more freebies cuz it doesn’t make money for kabam.
I want to know what this “new thing” the Deadpool account on the forum was referring to. He said they weren’t going to have gold deals but they were going to try something new instead, however, there hasn’t been anything new.
I understand Mike and Jax can’t just come out and say “oops, we’re sorry, here are some gold offers”. But I don’t get the point of sending out a message telling us there will be new stuff for this event and then not actually improving upon the event.

I bought deals, I wanted DP but I still think there should've been gold deals for F2P players. The event last year was amazing. I don't mind adding the offers to buy but don't take away the gold deals on top of it.
So here's what will happen we will keep screaming at the wall for a couple of days, then kabam will respone "The feedback is taken into consideration for future endeavours" the thread is closed and within a week it will be forgotten and we'll be screaming for some other reason

These are one of the only events which players genuinely enjoy, it was one of the biggest pro player community moves Kabam has ever pulled off. I know you guys love money, but seriously now. Throw us a bone, you’ve monetized every aspect of this game till it’s full potential.

This isn’t news. The game is monetized. Always has been. OG DP has been a purchasable Champ all along, and the same arguments have been made in the past. The only difference is the lack of Gold Offers from last year, and to be honest, there was no guarantee they would be repeated. Yes, people loved them. The fact is, there was no indication they would. People assumed as much. I'm indifferent towards the Event. If you have him, you get a free Mil of Gold just for doing a Fight. I like the inclusion of the DP Crystal in the Offers. I'm not keen on the cost of the Unit Offers in the store, but I bought one. Certainly not enough to be irate over. Would I have liked to see the Gold Offers? Sure. I wouldn't say no. That still doesn't change the fact that there was no precedent.

I’m coming up on my 7th year of playing, but starting last gifting event, this has been very apparent. I have spent in the past, but that has gone down a lot in the last 12-24 months.
So I’ll happily pass on this event. It does put a damper on hoping for fun things in the game…which then makes me weary of even dropping anything on cyber weekend.

The couple events Kabam seemed to put out to make the players feel appreciated they seem to think it would be better to remove them and make the community pay for crappier deals as a replacement. I’m far from a marketing genius, but they could have easily placed gold deals in place to please the community, and as scarce as gold is in the game at the moment put unit/cash deals to get gold. Along with other cash offers to line their greedy pockets. Wow, look at that they please the community and still make money, and Kabam in case y’all didn’t know you can’t make any money if you drive the game into the dirt.

What else is there to do? Letting it fade away will accomplish nothing. We can at least remind them that the player base is extremely disappointed with this decision. Maybe they will change their mind and bring back the offers, although I doubt that will happen.

Same boat as you..same amt of time playing too lol.. I wonder how many more have spent before but also have gone down last 12 months significantly. I always put $ down July 4th/cyber but will def pass this yr and feel good abt it.
I am actually stunned . Really am . People wanted the gold offers back and how shamelessly nothing was offered and instead made it from units. Such a shame . How can we ever trust upcoming old events now ? What's next now ? Removing unit deals from cyber and July 4th and making it all from money ? So after sleeping on it I have to say it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth especially the way Kabam handled it. First they kinda confirmed it after the notification accidentally got out then they dismissed it via a sarcastic post on their troll account. What a great way to treat your players. Instead we get mediocre offers at best for units or money. This would have been a good opportunity to show some love since there also was no compensations for the issues last month. I have to say that the state of the game as it is and the direction it's taken I lean more and more towards quitting for good and spending my money on a game and company who at least pretends to care rather than ignore or even worse makes fun of its players and customers.
it’s not nice for kabam to remain silent, a lot of people who are not happy have gathered, many messages are deleted, it’s better than ignoring people to answer once and there would be no more new comments and dissatisfied. On the part of kabam, this is not respect for the players.
It's such a shame, my comment was deleted, The deals are truly shocking even for paragon title holders, with 7*s coming in a few month's, 6* generic gem costing 5600+ units with just a rank up 2-3 gem and single 6* nexus...leave alone no gold offer's..
