I thought this wouldn't be so bad, but after 4 fights, 2 losses and 2 wins, I see that this is a reasonably hopeless meta…

Should we pause and time out every single fight?!? Because my 4 matches are pretty much won on 10-12k points...pause and timeout gives 15k points 😅

The power burn is so butt its gonna make the entire season so bad, kabam shpuld make it so it asks the community ala summoners choice, what nodes we want for bg’s so maybe we can avoid another garbage season like this will be, also moderators stop taking down posts and comments that have constructive criticism that somehow fall in the blanket umbrella rule called spam which is now just a rule that’s used as an excuse to take down valid criticism.

But there are lots of armor break and nullify champs... if they don't have armor up you won't be power burned.

It isn‘t about only powerburn immunes.
Nullify stagger armour break are all options. 50% armour up champs and 50% champs with that abilitys and you can get it done.
You need to think way more before you draft a champ

You have access to many armor break champs, nullify champs, stagger champs, neutralize champs and AAR champs, you just dont have them ranked up, most likely. Other people in the community face that challenge and decide to spend resources to rank them up.

There is no content in-game that hasn't required specific champs. Cav EQ does it every month. Lab/Abyss did it too. You think people use Aegon for war or questing? Probably yes, but the vast majority ranked up Aegon specifically for the piece of content.

If you cant dedicate resources to a specific game mode, you can just not play that game mode, no one is forcing you to.

BGs is supposed to challenge rosters, its supposed to challenge people to do unusual rankups.

We learned this in season 1.

200 sig Namor is very useful. Galan Hulkling Terrax Venom will work also.

The Thing is immune to armor break and nulify. Wiccan is also immune to armor break you can use the for defense.

Yeah not a fan, and without a super diverse roster it can be hard to get the champs you need that can armor break/immune to power burn. If the node were switched to just power drain it'd be a lot better

We’ve had weeks to prepare for these nodes. If you haven’t ranked up champs to counter them then that’s on you.

It’s unplayable to me. I was excited for bg to come back but I’ll go spend my time watching a movie instead. My opponents and I are just fighting to see who dies last from power burn. 4 straight matches where it’s like this. Ill pass

There’s not just one counter is there though, there are literally multiple champs who counter the nodes in this meta..

Stinks to wind up without a counter, but it’s also fun to discover new counters you didn’t know about. Thus far, most opponents seem to be rolling with last season’s deck, but that will change quickly.

@FiiNCH Makes sense to rank a bunch of champs for BG specifically that your not gonna use outside of BG while having to also rank other champs you use for all other content outside of BG makes sense lol

But the node doesn’t specify how much damage is done per armor, does it ? It’s pretty vague IMHO.

They gave you a chance to practice with spending energy. When you understand the node you can chance energy to the elders marks.
