It has been brought to my attention that quite a few members of the community are noticing less revives appear in the Act 5 quests that were so popular as of late.
. Lol Hiding behind “private” profiles, so not as easy to see all the previous stuff they have posted to see a pattern, etc.
Kabam Conspiracy theory #42
This user is the new intern and has made a private account to continue blast forums with revive posts, eventually Kabam will respond with some "LOL" farm comment followed up with, "We have been monitoring revives getting farmed in these acts, to make sure this does not get abused we will be nerfing it."
Toproller , what will it take you to shut up already & making such posts by twisting words while intention been the same. " Ruining things for others "
If only people stopped chirping about it on the forums
You think the Kabam employees bother reading most of the dribble on here?
Literally my job.
I mean I’m sure you guys had already known about it (dont give this troll the recognition hes craving of thinking hes the reason the respawn rates were tampered with)

You are correct. We use the power of data!
Bro please, it's Christmas soon, let this one slide. Ho ho ho.

When someone post revives on certain quest on this forum, all of a sudden the data of players running that quest is spike. Thus Kabam is now curious as to why the spike ahs occurred and they will check on the data. Thus the nerf happens. If only a few people do it, the data wouldn't be so high as to attract attention. This is why we can't have nice things.

Wrong, I'm sure kabam doesn't think even a few people autofighting 5.4.6 over and over is normal lmfao

Now you just need to harness the power of math and fix the points for the Platpool event.

I don't think it's a coincidence that he's actively here on a Wednesday with new content!

While we've got you here mate, is "shadow nerfing" a thing?

We have said, officially, many, many times that we do not make "silent nerfs."
Sure, occasionally mistakes are made, but we try to communicate in a timely fashion when that happens. We do not flippantly make substantial changes to the game that negatively impact players without telling them in some capacity.

I appreciate the reply, thank you for the clarification, Jax.
Since we've discussed (not) silent nerfs, and data collection on this subject here, I feel this might be a good time to put this out into the battlerealm:
These earlier act revive farms will be nerfed. As we have discussed in the past, this has to happen, it is inevitable.
This is not the result of people posting in the forums, this is the result of looking at the data and the impact these types of things have on the contest, as a whole.
That being said: the timeline for this looks like it should land in early January, and likely before the final cut-off for the "Road to the Crypt" Necropolis event. So... I anticipate most of you will have free time in December... I'm not going to tell you how to use it... but you are now equipped to make informed decisions.

Trade offer: We won't get mad about the nerf to 5.4.6 if you guys stop implementing "die now" mechanics which leads us to farming revives in the first place

Why not after the road to the crypt? Would it really hurt anyone to wait a bit longer? Especially for an event like this
There is no end to the joy that these decisions bring me. Love the way Kabam decides how the players need to play the game, rather than letting them play the way they want and actually enjoy it. Good times.

Appreciate the transparency on this. Even if it's not what people will love, at least there is a fair warning and not just something that you guys spring up on us out of nowhere without a timeline

I hate to break it to you, but they've been deciding how you play since the inception of the game. It's called design and production.

Could this be a "shadow nerf" we are witnessing, or are Kabam in fact providing us with secret windows during which we are able to amass these revives to help us with some of the long term content namely Necropolis that has just come out?

This is basically kabam saying “we don’t like you using your time to get resources, we want you to use your paycheck to get those resources”.

With this change, players who host events for other players will benefit more. If you don't have the potions to spend, they'll pay you to do it since it's difficult.
Find a way to bypass this then. Registering something or other way, I don't know. Do it.
