When someone post revives on certain quest on this forum, all of a sudden the data of players running that quest is spike. Thus Kabam is now curious as to why the spike ahs occurred and they will check on the data. Thus the nerf happens. If only a few people do it, the data wouldn't be so high as to attract attention. This is why we can't have nice things.

We have said, officially, many, many times that we do not make "silent nerfs."

Sure, occasionally mistakes are made, but we try to communicate in a timely fashion when that happens. We do not flippantly make substantial changes to the game that negatively impact players without telling them in some capacity.

Since we've discussed (not) silent nerfs, and data collection on this subject here, I feel this might be a good time to put this out into the battlerealm:

These earlier act revive farms will be nerfed. As we have discussed in the past, this has to happen, it is inevitable.

This is not the result of people posting in the forums, this is the result of looking at the data and the impact these types of things have on the contest, as a whole.

That being said: the timeline for this looks like it should land in early January, and likely before the final cut-off for the "Road to the Crypt" Necropolis event. So... I anticipate most of you will have free time in December... I'm not going to tell you how to use it... but you are now equipped to make informed decisions.

Appreciate the transparency on this. Even if it's not what people will love, at least there is a fair warning and not just something that you guys spring up on us out of nowhere without a timeline

This is basically kabam saying “we don’t like you using your time to get resources, we want you to use your paycheck to get those resources”.

With this change, players who host events for other players will benefit more. If you don't have the potions to spend, they'll pay you to do it since it's difficult.

Find a way to bypass this then. Registering something or other way, I don't know. Do it.
