So there have been discussions of the strongest class in game. For a while, Mutant was the strongest alongside Cosmic but recently the Science class has been catching up.

However MCOC is different from comics in terms of power scaling, so according to the comics, which class is the strongest?

    Mystic

I think it’s definitely cosmic. Galan, Knull, Pheonix, Maestro, Cgr, and probably others are all heavy hitters. Mystic is my runner up tho mostly due to dormammu doom and mephisto

Maestro’s that powerful compared to the likes of Knull and Phoenix?

He’s probably the weakest out of those I mentioned but he is pretty powerful
According to the story in MCOC, the Maestro conquered multiple universes before he discovered the battlerealm (probably collecting the small amount of iso-8 from each universe), so that seems like he deserves a little more credit.

Tbh I don’t know a ton about maestro in comics aside from his origin story, where he was shown to pretty much go toe to toe with Hercules. I did forget about all that dialogue in the early acts, where I think what you’re saying is correct.

But tbf idk how he’d manage to conquer universes without getting smacked by a host of celestials or galactus etc. though I don’t think the mcoc script writers were expecting anyone to look this deeply into it lol

Hulk having the mind of Bruce Banner and all of his rage and brute strength is a very dangerous combo. He not only would take people down, he would also take artifacts and utilize them. I imagine the only hard universe to conquer was his own. After that it would be a lot of the same old fights against people who probably don't know him and we don't really know who was in those universes besides iron man, Ronan, cap America + whatever artifacts he has on himself in the contest.

Yea i think the only possible way he could conquer entire universes is through the use of artifacts. The overseer (who in game is stated to be an alternate universe younger version of maestro) wears an infinity gauntlet which holds a cosmic cube, and cosmic cubes basically grant omnipotence, so it’s not unreasonable to believe Maestro could’ve possessed something similar. Though if he potentially had a cosmic cube or any other powerful artifact I’d think he’d bring it to the contest like overseer did. But who knows.

Oh I voted without reading. Mystic is the strongest one. Many of the mystic characters are beyond god level in their peak. Scarlet Witch, Wiccan, Magik, Doctor Strange, Doctor Doom, Dormammu

When immortal hulk was possessed by the one below all he literally became the Galactic equivalent of the next cosmos. He destroyed the entire universe and gained the power cosmic. It's unclear how whether that was because of a power increase or simply the one below all choosing to use hulks power to do what he wanted, but either way immortal hulk is stupid powerful and I would argue stronger than world breaker hulk

I didn’t finish the toba hulk storyline, so I don’t quite know how powerful he became by the end. However from a couple of quick Google searches toba hulk is shown to be listed equal to or slightly below knull. If we consider those 2 to be dead even and cancel each other out, science only has Sentry, Void, and Overseer as other notable mentions, whereas cosmic has a lot more.
