When you block one of her hits, she will gain a soul (her persistent charges)
Wait, what??? So why not just give her 5 charged to start the fight? Unreal
The goal with the Oppressive Curse buff is to give Morningstar ways to gain Souls (otherwise she'd never gain ANY) while also providing a way for skilled players to avoid giving them to her. If you intercept her, she'll never gain any. If you don't, you'll need a bleed immune Champion
For months/year people have been complaining about how so many interactions in the game need a refresh, duels setups 8-10 steps for one fight, ranking up characters taking 15 minutes because you have to individually select hundreds of ISO and then keep going back to stash, the base is still a thing. Why are these updates made when the devs clearly have a ton of work they should be doing? This update is wasted time, was going to buy units today... thanks for changing my mind.
With regards to the comments about how this version of Alliance Quests will be harder, we understand where you're coming from. As with anything you're unfamiliar with, it will be definitely be harder at first. It might take a little while to get used to, but we know our summoners, and we know how quickly they learn and can get used to new content, especially content that is recurring like Alliance Quests. If this update was so inconsequential that it was as easy at the start as you all find Alliance Quests right now (after months of practice) then there would be no point in us making this update, or ANY update for that matter.
It will take some time to get accustomed to the new encounters, but refreshing recurring content is important to keep the game fresh, and exciting!
@kabam DK
Thanks for the reply but we know we are the best we know we can get past your content we are the best so back to the matter at hand buff the rewards

We will all adapt, but it's not making the game more exciting, just more annoying, imo. Sure, new minis would be fine, but Sentinels are just tedious as heck to fight.

While excitement is nice, so is feeling like you are getting something for the added challenge. I understand those will be revamped later, but it feels like we are left to suffer until we adapt and get it right.
For the free-to-play player that has relied on Wolverine for over a year and been able to survive map 5 it seems we will have to give up good rewards or buy more potions and revives to continue forward. And when we already feel the need to buy them with the new war format it is just especially taxing.
But how are you so sure that the difficulty has gotten worse?
Granted, Bleed and Poison champions may not be as effective in Alliance Quests as they were before, but Sentinels melt at the power of a Armor Break Champion, and a lot of the new Mini-Bosses have very common counters!

So it seems here that DK is admitting it’s harder, and Miike is saying it won’t be. Which one is right, I’m inclined to think it will be harder so I’ll go with DK. The thing is, what is the point in releasing the update to AQ now? Why not wait a little longer and have the difficulty and rewards go up at the same time, in the manner it should.

Maybe a soul every 5 blocks? Either way meaningless to me but intercepting for the entire fight without one blocked hit with all the associated lag and herky jerkiness of her movements? Not saying there are not people out there, but... come on. Then if first person dies she is already at 5 souls with all her abilities active.
The only ability that can damages you as an attack is the 50% block perfect chance, which she gains at 4 souls. Otherwise 1 or 5 souls doesn’t change anything
Wolverine only useful in aq. With intruduction to sentinal in aq. He is now useless. Also he was a mini boss killer. But goblin, morningstar with wolverine. It's indirectly a nerf, we need rank down tickets. Just kidding, lol.
Kabam screwing over players and responses to player concern basically saying get over it. Increased spending still the only concern here. Not the enjoyment of the game.
So to try and convince us you praise us and then you say it is exciting? No need to kiss up to us we know how good we are we just need those rewards buffed.

Why give more rewards when you can just make more money
Why not give more rewards to keep your playerbase happy and incentivise people to spend more money
So, you are making it more difficult yet not adjusting anything like rewards or even glory? Can I ask why? How does this benefit the players?
As we said in that post, we are working on a full refresh. We are not at a place or time where we can increase the rewards or fully refresh the mode right now.
If you aren't at a place or time to refresh the rewards then you shouldn't be at a place or time to refresh the difficulty. One should not go without the other. This is a great example of pure laziness
But how are you so sure that the difficulty has gotten worse?

Miike, we are so sure because we play this game all day every day, and we know which bosses are good defenders and which are not. We also know that sentinels can be a pain, way more than simbiotes. Many people will have to level up different champions for aq, many of the common aq champs like wolverine and ultron will lose relevance.
It is fine, it's a partial refresh, that in itself is good, but it should also come with a partial rewards refresh. It is a fact, it has become more difficult. Please consider that as the feedback we users are giving you. Sometimes your answers can be condescending and insulting to our intelligence.
(...) It might take a little while to get used to, but we know our summoners, and we know how quickly they learn and can get used to new content(...)
If that were true, you’d also acknowledge the fact that we’ve asked for an easier duel interface for ages. That we’ve asked for engagement and inclusion before changes, so we can help you develop the areas we think need most attention.
The current aq rewards do not match the state of most of our accounts (speaking from a slightly over medium sized alliance - about 13m). We are dying for better and faster rewards. But if you’re just making a few changes that are going to take time (and resources, as well need different teams) to adjust to for no benefit whatsoever - then we’re entitled to question those changes without any benefit to us. Especially as you know us so well.
Let me guess. Y'all found that players were hardly using potions and revives in AQ and must find a way to get them to spend in AQ. They spend more than enough in AW already, you really had to amp up the difficulty in AQ without any increase in rewards?
I think this is the best time for you to give us some rankdown tickets and here is the main reason why. Most of the players have their champions tailored for this AQ. Introducing the Sentinels in place of the Symbioids will make a lot of champions like Wolverine and x23 useless. These are the main „to go“ champions for most people, including myself. And also by placing Morning Star as a miniboss requires more people to bring a bleed immune champion in AQ. And me for example I only have one, and I use him in AW.
@Kabam Miike Will the sentinels each have different specials like the symbiods? If not, that's unfair as the special 2 is difficult to fully evade. Also, fighting them is not more 'refreshing' if they all have the same moveset (in terms of animations from attacks and specials) since we'll get quickly bored of them in a week. And you can't counter the debuff immune sentinels with armor break.

It's not exciting to have to work harder, pay for more units, grind more for gold, face increasingly hardercontent and keeping getting the same stale rewards. Human psych 101. This game USED TO be fun and exciting, but not anymore. Champs don't retain their values because of Challenger Rating (our hard work gets reset every year or so), and the daily grind is giving us less incentive to keep playing. Everything about this game is starting to become a hassle.

How fresh and exciting are premium shards and tier 1 catalysts? Yet 2+ years here we are with the same event rewards.

You're assuming that Nightcrawler's mode swap works correctly. It doesn't.

This is a post I made from almost over a year ago. No resolution, no update, not even a response from your team.
So there's time to update content, but not time to fix it.
