She's still got Beyond God Tier Damage and Utility, so I sure as hell ain't Ranking Down mine, but it's nice they gave the option to Rank her Down for the people who only needed her for the Heavy Combo and that they didn't just completely ignore all the backlash.
I don't even have a SheHulk. But I would not have been comfortable with any future rankups unless champ specific RDTs were provided for the players who did invest resources in SheHulk.
And I'm still a bit annoyed that they made ZERO mention of all the other champs that have this exact same ability. It's a weak argument in my opinion. But that's just me.
Rank down tickets!? Really?! Who do you think most people will use them on? She-hulk? No! And now we're going to have more people rank down tickets whenever there's a another bug because precedent has been set. This is not good at all.

The rank down tickets are she hulk specific. Not generic. Like the 2015-2016 rank up gems from the variants. This ticket only applies to she hulk. Tho I'm not sure if they're only gonna be 5*s cause I ranked up my 4* she hulk as I don't have a 5*...

If you read the actual anouncement you'll see that the rank down ticket will be She-hulk specific.
I dont understand why this situation warrants tickets and others havent like the MD defenders. Nothing against She-hulk users. I just think if they are going to do it in 1 instance it should be consistent.

They should also take back the compensation the summoners used her cheese to receive. So they get to beat the Champion with basically a "cheat code", get to rank her down to get resources back and then rank up another beast champ that gets introduced. I'm all for transparency but if they are going to complain about an unannounced nerf they should also have to complete the content with a un"buffed" champ like the rest of us are going to have to do now.

Exactly, they said they would be “keeping a close eye” on MD and defenders like Dorm. But nothing has been addressed with it.
My issue is that they only have given rdts for she hulk, not the other champs who have got needs or been missold, I’m glad they’ve come around to she hulk, but it really shouldn’t take this amount of effort just to get what we deserve
They should make it simply that if any champ or description is altered a champ specific RDT is offered. That way ppl know they wont get screwed by future changes.
In all honesty, as long as they give the gold and iso back along with the upgrade items, i wouldn't be mad. Would be nice to get 2 gems though. I took she hulk straight from r2 to r4 because of the way she was working. Without this ability, i don't think I'd take her to r3 intentionally. What say you @Kabam Miike

That’s so obviously wrong. She hulk can’t “cheese” the champion6.2.6 boss fight final 10%. While her SLOW ability debuff helps that he’s against the wall and not hard to stun him to apply it. The chaining to a heavy doesn’t give players an automatic win vs that fight.

He was beat with a 3 star She Hulk and even every youtuber that has a ton of more skill than me has gone on record to address it as "cheese". Any champ with a L1 that's avoidable can be exploited with her. All I'm saying if they are going to complain with the nerf ( which I agree with ) than they should also respect the fact that they used her to cheat the game.
While I'm happy people now have compensation, She-Hulk has now been tainted forever. People say she's still a good champion but the fact that people won't commit to her after this soils her name as one. I wouldnt be surprised if she turns into a meme tier champion. But it's fine I guess. She'll always be the highest in my book.

LOL.. how does her name being 'soiled' affect how people use her though? It makes no different as long as she's still useful right?!?!

Rarely do I use the phrase, but that would be literally game breaking. Champions are always going to be altered in some way either directly or indirectly and if players were allowed to constantly reverse their rank up decisions every time a change was made, the game itself would be rendered pointless.
It is very important that resources that are spent can't be respent. This acts to counterbalance the otherwise overwhelming advantage veteran players have. Once you have enough resources to fully rank up a few full teams of champions you'll pretty much always be ahead of everyone else forever. A free to play game that allowed that would literally die by making it pointless for new players to join.
RDTs are extremely dangerous for that reason. But they have to exist to be the solution of last resort, because sometimes allowing this respending is unavoidable. Specifically, when those player decisions were not made under properly informed conditions. That's why there's no "consistency" to them: they have to be given out on a case by case basis when all other options don't work. In this case, in my opinion the situation warranted them not because a champ was nerfed: champs get nerfed all the time. The problem here is that the champion update explicitly intended to make the champion more attractive added abilities that were entangled with She Hulk's ability to combo into heavies. In that that connects to two separate abilities: her ability to maintain passive furies (by allowing combos into heavies you significantly improve the ability to pace defender power increases and special baiting) and her ability to shut down unstoppable. Combined with the fact that there's no specific reason to believe this interaction was unintentional and the fact that it was publicly demonstrable made She Hulk rank up decisions tainted by misinformation.
You're explicitly told when you play the game that the game will change. You're supposed to factor that into your rank up decisions and you have no guarantee those decisions will always be optional. In fact they are very likely to be superceded eventually. But there's a difference between the game changing organically in ways that can't be predicted, and the game changing because of a developer error that encouraged the players to make specific decisions. That's the line that is crossed here and makes RDTs the only reasonable option to address that issue.
I feel like it was a good response in general. Hopefully with any other major changes in the future they will cite this precedent [Gosh dang I’m just the funniest]. Edit: @Mathking13 yep those are exactly my thoughts

that's hilarious but I can't help but be frustrated that that worked at the same time... But yes I am also very happy with their response. They explained exactly why they're 'fixing' this, expressed that they understood the impact it had on players and their rankup decisions, and said they were looking at RDTs. I also liked how they briefly mentioned 'hey this whole thing about RDTs is the exception, not the rule'. Should lessen the amount of people that complain and ask for RDTs in the future.

Is Kabam going to fix all the others that can end a combo with a heavy too?
