We’re sorry that this update came as a surprise. The Ability to chain into a Heavy Attack from a combo is not one that is intended for any Champion, and we have never advertised it as one (except for Wasp, who has a built in short Passive stun to ensure that she is able to do it). No Champion should be able to Combo into a Heavy attack with 100% reliability, unless explicitly stated in their Ability description.
This was not something that was listed as an ability or an exception for She-Hulk. She was not built, tuned, or tested, around this unintended interaction. This was identified as an issue and resolved.
We apologize for the confusion caused by this interaction.
First: We ONLY give RDT and Compensation if a champ is nerfed!
Then: Of course you NEVER nerf a character, you just destroy the abilities that have been there for years, because of a sudden "bug". 😂
The BEST! Its genius- and it even works. Nobody here has asked for rank down tickets so far.
P.S. Hood has also been nerfed. combo chains from him also have been known for years ... but then again: he seems a pretty solid counter vs. 6.2 champions ...obviously has to be nerfed ....sorry i mean debugged. 🤣

several people have asked for RDTs in here.
And rightly so
I was countering his claim that no one had asked for them, not if it was right or not.
They should issue rank down tickets Thankfully I didn’t rank her up yet (was just about to) but this has been part of she hulks kit since 2016 so I would consider this a nerf especially as other champs with the same animation can do it Kabam did state whenever they nerfed a champ they would issue rank down tickets

Genuine question then. Are you going to nerf all the champs that can do this then? Thinking of ranking up Doc oc but don’t want to waste resources

You let this happen for 3 years then as soon as it’s useful you “fix it”. What a coincidence.
How are we supposed to trust you and make rank up decisions if we never know when something might be deemed a “bug”?

No offense but in that case every champ should have the same animations because some champs can shallow evade better etc or will voodoo have his one nerfed soon as it wasn’t intended

I think the team needs to do a real hard look at the game mechanics and how people have been using them for a long time. Really understand how this impacts a lot of players. And then at least have some understanding from where we are coming from.
If this was a fix for a bug why was it never posted or discussed in the known issues thread or anywhere in bugs page. Totally agree with everyone that says this is coming out of nowhere and think it is for sure a nerf to she-hulk.
The link that you posted there is of a player complaining that she isnt working as she did before the update.. they are complaining about the nerf..
This is a nerf for a simple reason.. her ability to chain a heavy into her combo was never a bug.. you can see in seatins new video, that OML can do it aswell..but her heavy causes the slow debuff and if you can chain the heavy after each combo it gives you easy access to the debuff and it counters the campion boss in 6.2, which was supposed to be the new collector fight..
So the difference between a fix and a nerf is the reason behind making the change.. they dont want to fix the game cos it didnt need fixing, they want to hinder her ability to counter the champion boss in 6.2 and other new content they put out to drain our pockets

And the fact that this comes after many people ranked her for path 4 in war and bosses in 6.2 means nothing I suppose.
The heavy out of a combo only was really reliable when the opponent was against the wall. Other than that, they could often back away from it and leave shehulk vulnerable.
Are we going to see other wall locks removed as well?

People who ranked her up to R5 solely for her ability to combo into a Heavy attack to maintain her furies deserve a RDT.

There would be no benefit to waiting to fix a bug. We fixed it when we became aware of it.

Honestly, people should get more than an apology here, Miike.
This was a specific mechanic known throughout the community for a while and a significant attribute of the champ. You guys need to be more attuned to what is happening in game and make “fixes” like this out of the gate, not months later.
I dodged this bullet and used mine at R3 for 6.2 content. But anyone who used their hard-to-get materials on her should get them back and then some.
Kabam changed AA because he could stun even against stun immune nodes but its OK for some Champs to complete shut down nodes like domino.
And the worst part is, they don't even tell us what is a bug and what isn't. I have a R4 she hulk and was about to r5 her after the season rewards, glad I didn't because, although I still think she is worth R4, I don't know about r5 anymore.
Well ... its also nowhere stated that champs can do a 5 hit combo. Could be a bug? wasn't a 2 hit combo intended earlier? Lets debugg all the champs with 2 hit combos!
This is no reasoning. If a champ can do stuff for years, no I correct me, if multiple champs can do the same stuff for years, one could assume it is as intended. No objectiving the issue for years, confirms that is not a bug.
Come on man: Nerf stuff if you want. But don't just lie in our face. It's disgusting.

@Kabam Miike what is the expected time frame for 'fixing' all the other champions that can chain heavy at end of their combo...?

How do you fix something you dont know is broken, that does not make any sense.
In the future it might be nice to dialogue with the community about upcoming changes that negatively impact champion performance on attack and look for feedback. When things are announced as a line on the changelog, even if this is feeling is not intended, it feels like you were trying to slide one by rather than fix a legitimate concern.
I understand that you might not have intended this and I understand and agree with the logic about making her conform to core game mechanics. However she hulk has been able to do this for as long as I can recall (although I'll be honest and say that outside of the arena grind she sat on my bench for the most part until her buff) and it seems odd to suddenly change something that has been around for a long time and positively impacts the player experience.

There is no way that you just became aware of this now. She has always been able to do it, and it has been prominent in end game content for months. The fact that Kabam provided no warning for this is absolutely unacceptable. I thought they were supposed to be trying to be more transparent and communicate better. Clearly that Is not the case.

Shehulk has had this ability since she was released. How come that you never paid attention to this ability and thought it needed changing, but now that she counters your fun and interactive content, she needs to be fixed?
Are you trying to tell us that your departement needed 2 years to fix a "speed bug", as you called it in the title.
I dont use she hulk so this is completely objective.
If there was a more inclusive list to known bugs instead of the 7 issues listed it would avoid stuff like this.
In addition if there working on a fix, they should list the issue in the known bugs. I'm not sure why they enjoy these stealth projects/fixes, but it's going to lead to people being irritated.
Its called transparency, which is probably why Kabam doesnt grasp the concept

@Kabam Miike I understand where you are coming from, but why can’t we get a fix for the issues affecting the players? Like Ghost’s intercept being blocked/parried in AW, Corvus’ coldsnap immunity not working on freezerburn nodes, the title notification not going away for summoners sigil title, etc. Why do all the “bug” fixes seem so lopsided?
