Just wait man, 3 more days and we can have another community outcry. This change isn't the best but it could be made the way it is because of other changes coming to the game. It also shows that Kabam is listening to the community feedback thread as many suggested a new system of class based crystals to make specific champion acquisition easier. 3 more days guys

The 6* pool is mostly trash. Its just making you look at 10 horrible options instead of 3...

How about making it so you could be guaranteed a good champ instead of making it RNG depelendant again

Thanks Miike, that is actually way better than I initially thought but it still doesn't feel great that shards are being reduced.

Why? this was never announced that if you do Abyss early you will get extra rewards

All content is subject to change, and that includes Encounters, rewards, Champion abilities, etc. This will never be announced at the outset because our intention wasn't to change the rewards later.

Yeah, getting to choose from 10 champs of the class is actually decent, hopefully you get to open your T5CC first.

@Kabam Miike any way you can show an example of how this works? Do we pick 1 in 6 classes with the selector then we pick 1 in 10 champs with Nexus?

Do we have to choose the selector before we would get to open the two t5cc? I’m 100% already, but this seems like an important distinction.

That is correct. You choose a Class, and you receive an Abyss Class Nexus Crystal. When you open that Crystal, you will get 10 choices pulled from the Base Pool of that Class only!

You do still have to choose the class before you open the T5CC though.

1 of 10 of specific class is much better but given the no. of trash champs, I still see a high chance of pulling 10 mediocre and trash champs. Anyways, will wait for 25th.

Yeah, the nexus is very exciting and really enticing to me, but losing out on the 15K shards blows and seems out of touch.

Basically as close as you will ever get to a 'pick your champion' kinda deal. Nice.

Short sighted players will just see the reduction of shards and focus exclusively on that - the majority of which probably haven't even started act 6 let alone abyss
