Wanted to chime in since I decided to 100% Act 6.2.6 today.
In every fight when the AI is against the wall and I throw a special attack the AI gets up stands there and if I back up, it runs towards me. No block held, just standing there. The moment my finger is on the screen it blocks. This happens every single time. Funny enough I fought Quake and Blade with the defensive node on and they act exactly like every other champ on the paths.
I thought I was the only seeing this. came here after I posted on my Line chat. The AI is messed up. Never seen anything like that in Act 6. They’ll just jog towards you, let down their block, stand idle etc. It felt like when I did Map4 when I thought a break and like arena. One thing fix, then another rises...Hail Hydra
This has been happening in arenas I have a streak of over 80 and it’s like I am fighting arena on a streak of 1 Also in act 6.3.4 imiw boss is very passive and doesn’t attack at all or blocks after gaining one car of power he becomes passive and just stands there and lunges forward until u either attack and he demolished or he eventually throws a special after u back up the the other side of the wall and get annihilatedby his unblockable sp1
after you finish a combo, special, or heavy the AI will just stand there. when you go into attack(because they won't feed into your parry) the opponent will block, intercept, or throw a special-its extremely annoying-unless you expect us to learn a new way to work around the annoying AF AI, fix it
They shouldnt roll out updates that cause so much more problems u guys should be testing these updates before rolling them out I’d rather have a buffed champ boss then this **** ai any day
First off, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will continue to monitor this.
Meanwhile, please continue to provide us specific information, such as: i) what is unusual about the specific opponent(s); ii) where are you encountering this; iii) when are you encountering this (specific instances, if applicable)
The above information will be very helpful in our data collection and investigation.
Thanks for being awesome, and thank you in advance for your cooperation!
After updating, doing arenas and working on a path in 6.2.6 today, I am seeing what others have described. It’s two things.
1. . The enemy runs/walks up in your face and stops without attacking. It’s very similar to what happens in the arena when you’re doing the deathmatches.
2. If I hold block immediately after doing a multi-hit combo, the enemy will block for a split second and drop their block and have an open stance. If I attempt to attack, the enemy blocks or attacks into me. If I dash back, AI response is #1 above.
Response to your bulletpoints:: 1. Opponent doesn’t seem to matter 2. Everywhere 3. In all fights , see description above,
I watched Seatins vid of the revised Champion fight and you can see it there, especially when the Champion is at 10% health. I can provide a few vids too, but it should be noticeable if you play the game regularly.
We’ve been asking for an end to passive AI in maps 1-5 and arena for years, so instead it’s rolled out to every game mode. This has the potential to be a 12.0 level tsunami.
100% AI is acting strange. Don't try to tell us otherwise - we're the players and we experience it firsthand daily, so give us some credit. AI is "running" at you after a combo instead of blocking/dashing back. This is NOT normal.
I encountered this in 6.2.6 while exploring. This is occurring in every fight.
We didn't say it's not acting weird, but that it's not a change. We're looking into it, but need the information that Boo asked for earlier so that we can determine what the issue is.

In the arena, the AI seems to be doing the same thing regardless of opponent and regardless of which champions I have on attack. The defender will hold block for a split second, then release and just stand there. If you attack the AI will generally block you with a well-timed block which triggers Parry if the account the defender was pulled from has Parry. The only way out of this is to either stand and wait for an extended (and random) period of time, or back away and force them to chase you across the screen. It is happening frequently enough that it basically happens in every fight if the fight lasts long enough.
This is dramatically different from in the past, when this was at best an relatively uncommon event (the AI parrying you). And the "twitch" where the defender holds block for an instant and then releases it, which causes a visible twitch in the stance of the defender, and then the defender just stands there wide open but waiting for you to attack so it can counter you with a well-timed block, is as far as I can recall completely new.
Hey @DNA3000 the AI does this, week in, week out in map 4 AQ. That well timed block and stuttering walk up and light attack intercept, is there all the time.
I've not seen this AI outside of that game mode before however. But today, it's everywhere!
Something has been changed.
My alliance does Map 4, and at least from what I'm seeing this is different. I've seen every once in a while oddities in Map 4, but nothing on the magnitude I'm seeing now, and what I'm hearing from others.

Go into any game mode, do a few 5 hit combos, and block. You expect the AI to come in, back off, or block. Instead it stands open, not blocking, waiting to intercept or parry you.
I noticed it within the first 30 seconds. Variant, act 6, arena on high streak, take your pick.
Not sure when this was posted, it looks like whatever instructions the gave the person in charge of AI thingy didn’t listen and made changes. They should go back and check how the AI behaves. Doesn’t make sense that I’m using potions I just got for another issue.
@SparkAlot Have you noticed this AI issue yourself? Go into Act 6 and try a whole lane.
Either @Kabam Miike has been misinformed, or the AI is self-evolving into Skynet.
This made me legit lol, but this is a serious problem.
It really comes down to the fact that either Miike was misinformed or Miike isn’t being honest with the community.
Both of those options are incredibly disheartening.
For better or worse, many of us spend hours and hours playing all game modes this game has to offer every single day - so much so that the slightest change in AI behavior can be jarring.
It’s too bad our feedback isn’t taken very seriously, or flat out denied, when changes as obvious as this are made.
I'm assuming this is a misunderstanding, albeit an unintentionally incendiary one. With all the developers dispersed, the only way for @Kabam Miike to know if a deliberate change occurred would be to poll all the developers individually, which is impractical when they aren't all in the same place, or check the internal patch notes. If this is an unintended change there would be no such patch notes, and no obvious person to ask about it.
And I should clarify my own comments: it is possible that this is the result of a deliberate change, but it is an unintended consequence of an otherwise deliberate change to the game. It was supposed to do X, and instead is doing Y. That's the conjecture I'm operating under, as it is not easy to accidentally turn a game AI into a taunting assassin.
In other words, I would read Kabam Miike's "there's no change" as "there's been no intentional change in the AI to deliberately perform these maneuvers that I'm aware of."
I think this is just the ai becoming more aware and getting us back for all the times we quaked them. I can't wait for the day when they learn to reparry
Watch Hood's hands at about the 3 second mark: he "flinches" as if he was starting to go into block and then stopped and decided to just stand there instead. When I go to attack, the AI immediately executes a well-timed block.
That's the behavior a lot of people are seeing: the AI drops its hands and stands there and dares you to attack: if you take the bait the AI executes a well-timed block. In the arena (or in AW, presumably) when the opponent has player masteries this can trigger parry stuns.
It's basically a copy of the AI from fights 10-15 in arena. That's how I would describe it.
I have never seen the AI do this in the arena before at anywhere close to the frequency it is doing it now. In fact, it is so dramatic that before this morning I don't remember the last time I saw the AI in the arena do this at all: deliberately drop guard and bait you into attacking, and if you don't then it just slowly jogs towards you so they can't be intercepted in the middle of a dash forward either. They will actually often jog up to you and stop and stand there again, daring you to attack while their hands are lowered.

He is now bugged and ain't loosing his ice Armor after getting parried/stunned

Just ask whoever works on the AI what they did!
