How's the compensation looking? A few thousand units on top of the mastery points we're due wouldn't go amiss.
Quite a few summoners along with myself have been missing 4 points for the better part of 6 months now, and I'd really appreciate if your team could get this fiasco sorted before I do my first necro run.
I think anyone would agree it's a pretty poor effort that we have gotten no proper answers about this.
I'm sending a ticket to support, and I would encourage others in the same position to do so as well.

We're still working on it, but are aiming for January to get these out right now. I know, that's a long time after this issue started, but it's not for the lack of trying.
I’m missing the points and hadn’t commented yet because I was willing to be patient, but I think there should be more communication. The points do a lot and we’re now approaching Feb

We will update you when we have information to share, and at this time we do not. There is no compensation planned, and I encourage you not to send tickets to our Support Team on this. You've seen what we have said so far, and there is no additional information that our Support Team can give you.
As you know, timelines can change in a live game, and if we have an updated timeline, we will let you know. The tech requirements for this being done is a lot more than just sending out a few missing crystals. Spamming the forums or our support team will not change that.

We will update you when we have information to share, and at this time we do not. There is no compensation planned, and I encourage you not to send tickets to our Support Team on this. You've seen what we have said so far, and there is no additional information that our Support Team can give you.

So has the timeline changed? Because it seems like it. Also, people don’t like being left in the dark about something like this. Saying you have no update at a time when you expected them to be released is a slap in the face considering there was no change announced to us. You can’t blame people for asking support and tagging mods when your timeline is now and we don’t have any real answers. This is poor management all around here

It's completely wild to me Kabam made this change to rewards and then like....... Didn't think if there'd be an issue with it. Literally robbing several players out of a valuable and limited resource. Having this be an issue I came back to in November and finding out it's been an issue since August is just crazy.
There genuinely should be compensation here. And issue like this SHOULDN'T have happened. Kabam knew in the past when they changed rewards in quests it doesn't automatically give them to people who beat the content in the past. And had to state before hand they wouldn't keep handing out changed rewards from their acts 2/3 reworks because like it really wouldn't affect anyone who beat it several years prior.
But it was common knowledge before act 4 changed that exploration was in insane chore and wasn't really worth it even with the energy change. But as also the only way to get mastery points once you reached maxed level.
The fact this issue just "slipped by" speaks volumes how little actual thought or care went into this. It's ridiculous you guys with the knowledge you had from previous act changes knew rewards don't get auto sent out for people who completed content. And knew there was a high amount of people who never did exploration for this because it was a chore, and didn't think through if maybe there was a different way to do it.

One dev could figure this out in an afternoon and become a hero.
Don’t know what avenue they are looking at.
But I had written up a potential solution earlier up in here (and written it more concisely toward the end of TopRoller's other lengthy thread), that @Kabam Miike can maybe forward to Devs if they are still stuck in how they want to proceed).
That proposal wouldn’t need to write complex search scripts and issue in-game mail for a ton of individual accounts for those lost Points.

Interesting, another new post “I don't have 4 Mastery Points”, and all 10 rapid-fire short replies there from various small forum accounts echoing same.
But all those accounts are NOT brand new like some other recent examples, including one in here. They were created at various other times over past year. (??)
Like maybe they were all hacked by someone here and used to SPAM a new post about this.

Oh ok, that's completely fair
When a company or seller messes up and doesn't send you an item for over a year, it's not out of the ordinary for them to maybe offer a discount or chuck some extras in as a nice gesture.
My comment expecting thousands of units was rather outlandish in hindsight but I think it's reasonable Kabam would do or provide something as a way to say sorry to those who missed out.
It's their mistake, and Miike has a habit of being a condescending individual towards those that just want their fair share and are vocal about it.
If Kabam can get track of who finished act 4 before date xx/xx/xxxx of the nerf and mastery removals, it's so simple.
Send the 4 points to all these Summoners...
If not... Send 2 masteries to everyone. If a Summoner gets more than possible it will be gone on overflow. And provide an explanation that wont be possible give more than 2. @Kabam Miike 👍
Interesting that there is no compensation considering the disadvantage and these players likely burned through more units and or completed less content. Seems like a good way to lose players

We have been given minimal communication from you about the situation and the first time we get a timeline you wait until it's almost up to update us that it is being pushed back. Here's my two problems with this whole situation especially with how you guys have handled it.
1. Lack of oversight. You 1000% should have considered the consequences of changing act 4 and had a plan in place. It should have been ready to launch the DAY act 4 was revamped. This should not even be a problem in the first place. Now that it is you should have multiple people working on fixing it because obviously there are options. @SummonerNR had two very good ones for you if you need help.
2. Your communication has been abysmal. There's no other way to say it. You have given three updates on this situation and your most recent one has me super worried. you are pushing back the timeline but how far? Another month? Three months? A year? Maybe you just want us to forget about it altogether.
The deal is this though, the longer a fix takes to send out, the more compensation should be expected. And we will not let this thread die until we have a solution.

I don't think you quite understand the scope of work here, and I know that @SummonerNR has had some ideas, but they don't work with our tech. I have given you all of the communication that I could possibly give with the information that has been available to us at the time. I cannot give information that we don't have.
