Lol if you lure an opponents heavy you can do the same thing and his stun still works just not on unstunnable nodes which makes perfect sense
It does make perfect sense if they had mentioned it being a bug within a few weeks after his release or at any point since his release. Or if they had not confirmed the exact issue to be working as intended. Or if after they confirmed it to be working as intended they had said that they were wrong and it was a bug. Instead they just fixed a bug that was said not to be a bug, out of the blue a year+ after the champ had been released.
Lol i cant beleive how many people are complaining about the AA stun thing lol like where do you guys use this thats making it a “game changing fix” or in anyway makes AA any worse of a champ? Lol like hes still one of the best to use for thorns like against IM on map 6 and anywhere where his stun from his nuerotoxin could be benificial bis nuerotoxin in general still would kill the champ fast enough anyways so i don’t understand the commotion unless its just another thing for everyone to flip out about cause they love the drama or are hungry for rank down tickets and using this as a catalyst to try and get one

The stun isn't important. The precedent for arbitrarily deciding something that has been confirmed as working as intended is now a bug is a very bad precedent for the players. For 6 months, the confirmation of working as intended and the edited thread title of "not a bug" sat there with no further comments from kabam. Kabam even closed the thread because the final word was given. Then, out of nowhere... It's a bug.

Im was using Sl for x23 and GP for spidey. And didt ryl need the stun im wuld agerd ther need to giv a AA spekifit rank Down ticeket.
I would like to start off by saying that I completely understand why you had to fix this “bug”. Now I would like to give my opinion on the situation. You say in your post that you will not be distributing rank down tickets because you are fixing a bug and not changing fundamental game mechanics but to us since we had the wrong information and it was never corrected this was a fundamental game mechanic. To not give out rank down tickets is just not fair. I myself would not rank down my aa but what about the people who took a 5* aa to r5. If the wrong information which you guys provided was used to determine whether someone wanted to take him to r5 then that person should get the chance to rank him down. Thanks for listening.
People are saying this sets a precedent, but that was set long ago when suicide masteries were working as a healing battery for like 1.5 years, and then kabam decided to nerf them saying "this was never intended"

And if for some reason it were doing that, they would be well justified to change it (even if for some reason the developers actually did want it to work that way at first).

We have talked to the team about it, and at this time, there will be no change to the resolution.
If Archangel Stuns Black Panther (Civil War) while his Armor is up, but there are Neurotoxins suppressing his Ability Accuracy, Archangel can still avoid the Reflective Stun. The Ability Accuracy reduction from Archangel has not been affected.
Actually, the word should be restitution, not compensation. I’m not all that concerned about that, however.
What I am concerned about is how blithely the game team seems to be missing the point. What other undisclosed items is the game team working on that are privately considered “bugs”? Is there any acknowledgement that the game team’s about-face guts the trust of the community on this and any subsequent issue?
The more I think about the Archangel change the more I realize that this affects me (and a lot of people) a lot. Archangel is the counter you always have that forces the enemy alliance to place an immune AW boss. The ability to stun bosses was unique only to him and many of us used our best resources on him. I personally used a generic 5* awakening gem as well as my t2a and all of my mutant signature stones in order to have this boss slaying champion.
He changed the meta for AW defense and forced alliance to place people like dormammu before blade was even available. That ability to stun bosses was so useful.
A rank down ticket specifically for AA would be 100% justified here. I don't see how they can replenish the awakening gem and sig stones but I gotta say this is pretty crazy that we are being forced to use these resources on a champion that is being nerfed.
He is still amazing yes, no question. I am not 100% sure if I would rank mine down or not. But With this change I would definitely like the option to reverse the BIG decisions I made regarding someone who at one point was one of the best boss killers in the game. That bug was pointed out a while ago and we all had the knowledge that it was not a bug, but intended long ago.

I'm sorry to report that a moderator gave you incorrect information when this was first reported. We know how important it is for us to be sure that we are giving you the most accurate information that we possibly can.
This was a bug, and although it was a long standing one, it doesn't mean that we didn't have to fix it. Archangel’s Stun was not acting like every other stun in the game.
The issue with having a Stun that does not act like a debuff is that it was causing a lot of problems, and with more new content and modes being added, this was becoming a bigger and bigger problem. Archangel was not only able to bypass Stun Immune nodes, but his stun would bypass other Champions abilities, like Agent Venom's Tenacity or Black Panther (Civil War)'s Reflect Stun, as well as not interact with Masteries like Willpower.
With this interaction becoming more and more prevalent in different game modes, we started seeing more of these problems come up, and this bug was one that became more of a priority.

@Kabam Miike I’m confused about the intention of this change being falsely reported as a bug. If Archangel’s abilities describe his Neurotoxin as being capable of suppressing Ability Accuracy of his opponents, why wouldn’t an opponent who’s suffering from multiple Neurotoxins be susceptible to stun if only 1 of these Neurotoxins expire?
His abilities also state that he’s capable of reducing Tenacity.
Based on these observations, Archangel IS working as intended.
This is not a “bug” fix, it’s a deliberate change of a champion’s architecture to better suit the needs of your future content.
You’re removing our (the players) advantages in order for your content to be deemed more challenging. It’s like taking away a “power drill” and handing us back a “screwdriver” to keep the task at hand difficult.
I think that most players are upset because of your lack of being forthcoming with honesty.
Just openly say that “Archangel is too powerful a tool for our content, for this reason we are going to make some changes.”
Some of us would be upset, but we would understand.
You could also just develop future content with more bleed immune node attachments and problem solved. It’s amazing what fun and creative challenges you can create with the “nodes” concept. Right!?

But since was a VERY well known ability of his and the confirmation that this ability was "working as intended" has been around since January, this is a very big deal. At any time, a Moderator could have corrected this information but instead, we get an out of the blue change to the character which kabam seems as a correction of a bug and the players see as a nerf. Had this "incorrect information" been corrected during that time, I'm sure the issue would be much smaller. But instead, it raises questions about literally every other mod statement.
As players, how are we supposed to know what's correct information and what isn't? I realize people make mistakes, but again... This is something that SHOULD have been clarified long before people had months to dump catalysts, gold, awakening gems and signature stones into this champ... Not to mention units used on crystals which contained Archangel. This is a pretty big communication failure that can only hurt the players. I'm disappointed in the way this was handled over the past months/today and worried what it might mean in the future.

The people on here saying that nobody would rank down their AAs might be right.
However, i would almost guarantee there are some people would love to rank down a 5* r4 AA if they now have a 5* blade, bc AA was used primarily to fight magik in war. Indeed, without magik being the boss and on 10-20 nodes per bg in war, AA is nowhere near as useful as he used to be. The guys I know that have 5* r4 AA don’t use him in war anymore bc blade with a 4* gr and 4* spark is way more useful.
So I would disagree that a lot of people wouldn’t use a rank down ticket on him. Granted, the rank down ticket wouldn’t be used bc of this bug, but to free up t2as on a champ that has become less useful with newer champs to then use on a different champ.
Regardless, it is really concerning now that kabam claims this is a “bug” rather than a feature of AA—particularly with contradictory information being previously given. It makes you wonder what other “bugs” are out there that will be “fixed.”

I truly don’t understand this mindset. It is solely your choice to do side missions. They are up to you to decide if they are worth time and effort. If you feel like you need a break and don’t want to do it then you make the decision not to complete it.
There are a large number of players who feel burnt out and want less content. There are equally a large number of players who love having so much to do. If there’s a month of nothing, just an event quest then kabam annoys players who want to do something, whereas if they put side quests in then the people who want to do something are happy, and the people who want a break can have their break.
Kabam are doing a great job having all this content, I loved dungeons (room for improvement but that’s besides the point), I hated vanquishing blows so I didn’t do a single one. Don’t get annoyed with kabam for releasing too much, just do the amount you want to do.
You dont understand for an end player like myself falling behind isnt a option at all and if i opt to not do these side missions i fall behind...i already havent ranked any of my champs in over a month bc the champs i get from 5* are ****

Voddoo sp2 not working, AA stun, may I ask why they doing only with playable champions, I don't mind if daredevil Netflix L2 stun breaks in game, cus I don't even use him or Antman poison I don't even care. I put all my generic signature stone in 5* AA just to make sure 33.34% ability accuracy on each neurotoxin, gave him generic awakening gem, those T4CC hard to come, and what's happened now, again God tier champ nerfed, do you know if he stuns then we can hit another heavy, of course you don't have this champ so you just have no right to not write here. Thank you
