So tell me how its supposed to work then. Both BWCV and Morningstars abilities say they regen from damage dealt. If they arent dealing any damage, how are they supposed to regen? Morningstar has been around for years but only recently shes been used against the champion. BWCV hasn't been around for ages. Shes been in the game for like 6 months.

If the situation was reversed and it impacted you during the fight, would you want them to leave it or fix it?

BWCV wasn't on the down low. There was an announcement thread and it was in the known issues thread. Morningstar hasn't even been fixed yet and we don't know what update that will happen in. Get your facts straight.

So tell me how either of the champs regen beat the champion? Does them regening cause him to die?

How is it this bug is fixed immediately? For Morningstar, it hasn't been fixed yet and with BWCV it was fixed over a month after being discovered. Plus with MS, shes been able to do it since 6.2 was released. Thats not immediate.

There was no nerf.

It was a bug fix. When you deal 0 damage you DO NOT life steal and heal back. Anyone ranking up Morningstar should have known this as it is stated in her character bio. No rank down tickets should be given out.

Kabam should have taken responsability from the beginning saying that this was a bug so that people didn't rank up this champions. I specifically ranked up morningstar for 6.2 champion. It is just unfair to shut down things that were so long in the game and that change the champions so drastically excat same case as She Hulk, not fun.

I'd still like to know how not being able to heal in the last 10% any less usable? CapIW can't heal period and he's one of the best counters there is.

Of course being able to regen is helpful because it means you can take more blocked damage without dying with from his insane attack. Especially on the no retreat node where it can be quite difficult not to dash back twice and also not take a ton of damage. I’m not saying what they did was right or wrong but I fully explored this quest less than a week ago with MS and I know especially on no retreat I would’ve had to use a lot more units to do so if she wasn’t able to heal.

Well. She was always good for it and many always knew it. It didn’t depend on some youtubers to post a video.

Bugs that favor players get fixed immediately. Bugs that screw over players have low priority. Unfortunate it has to be like this

I don't see how anyone could reasonably believe this wasn't bugged. Morningstar explicitly states she life steals 50% of damage done. Everyone would expect if you were under any effect that was causing you to deal less damage your heal would also be lower. There's no way anyone should expect that if damage was reduced to zero that Morningstar would still be healing a substantial amount of damage.

The idea that if players have been allowed to experience the game with a bug then they should just leave the bug in for everyone else has all sorts of nasty side effects. In the long run, it makes the game impossible to develop in the long run: you basically end up with a crazy hodge podge of nonsensical exceptions to exceptions, not just player facing but also in the machinery of the game.

But it also isn't a "player positive" thing either because of the law of averages. Games like this are balanced around averages. For every bugged Morningstar you keep in the game, you ratchet up all future difficulty which has to account for it existing. But not all players will have Morningstar, so some players will rise up to that new difficulty and some won't. No bug like this is "player positive" for all players, because in effect games like this are graded on a curve. By definition, nothing can benefit all players in the long run, because anything that does gets neutralized by future content.

No, we cant agree on that. Ill never agree that anything that helps us should never be reported. Thats stupid and not the way the world works. You want them to fix bugs that hurt us, they should fix bugs that help us. Get over it.

Any player who claims to want as bug free of a game as possible reports all of them. Anything else is hypocritical.

A long standing pet peeve of mine is the game documentation both in and out of the game is horrible. The game should work the way it is described and vice versa. I can't simultaneously advocate for the devs to clean up documentation and descriptions and also support the notion that if players like a bug they should hide its existence for as long as possible.

So I'm afraid I'm one of those players that would have reported this bug had I been directly aware of it. I've seen Morningstar in Champion fights, but this is simply not something that occurred to me to take notice of.

I R5ed my MS for this. Surely many people did too. We better get compensated for this. And im not even gonna proceed with 6.2 exploration.
