You should get more points if you beat a larger roster; but that has nothing to do with matchmaking. 🤔 It also has nothing to do with smaller and larger rosters, or the matchmaking shelter that allows such matchmaking 🤔
I while back I proposed a 3 tokes if you beat a Paragon, 2 if you beat a TB and 1 if you beat a UC/Cav system. I bet you couldn't guess who had an issue with it because "it would hold lower players back"?
I'm pretty sure it was someone who presented clear points about the issue.
I think it's funny that he says others are trolling him.
I suppose an argument could be made for whether or not it's intentional, but it's hard to imagine someone being so evasive, resulting in the rest of the forum's raging frustration on accident.
I mention people being trolled on here, and the 3 people trying to get a rise our of me were triggered. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up.
Dude seriously I know its hard to swallow the fact that the earth doesn't revolve around you; but I care and enjoy the game mode a lot more than to care about you. I actually enjoy BGs and hope they are even more competitive, and if that means the likes of you miss out so be it. So far you accused people of belittling, patronizing, and being condescending to you, maybe the problem is you.
I understand that it can feel tedious, but it's also an open competition mode. It's meant to be challenging to rise and it's satisfying when you make it far.
If they lessen the difficulty, it takes away from the experience of a PvP mode. We, the players, really dictate how hard a PvP mode is and the bar is set high.
Aside from top level AW/AQ, no other areas needs r4 and higher champs. While BG can be a grind, it also motivates me most to play and rank up champs.
While I agree that competitive modes are supposed to challenge the skills of a player, sometimes it isn't about skill at all and you get outmatched by a roster, I have played quite a few stacked rosters and mine is nowhere near that plus I don't want to rush to rank up because I want to enjoy the game without getting burned out.

This reminds me of my favorite Justified quote:
'If you run into an a**hole in the morning, you ran into an a**hole. If you run into a**holes all day, you're the a**hole.'
You can't use BG as an example. He makes a job out of that. I mean, good on him. He's just not something Players can aspire to. That's half the reason people think there's actually a chance at keeping up with people who spend mass amounts of money.
I can understand saying this for players like Slayer of Gods, MSD, Lagacy etc who are big spenders
Just wanted to say I don't consider myself a big spender. Lol.

I "accused" you because that's exactly what you've done. It's there in wrote. I'm not missing out on anything. I'm concerned about the game mode overall. Not myself. Aside from my own experience with how arduous it is from Plat up. It's not even the difficulty. It's the monotony of it. Not to mention everyone hanging out in Diamond until they push to the GC. Regardless, I'm perfectly fine with my own grievances. I don't just speak because I'm frustrated. If I have a concern, there's a reason beyond what I personally want. I don't conflate issues that are just a "me" thing. Also, if you're going to claim to be a victim to my accusations, adding "the likes of me" is a dead giveaway to your intentions. You can be as spiteful as you like, honesty. If you think that's a good way to keep BGs going, then you enjoy that. Personally, I'm not bothered, just disappointed that people can't see beyond their own nose.
I keep seeing all of these low accounts in gc. Yet I’m at almost 300 k solo points and still in vibranium. How about a fix to matchmaking. It’s beyond ridiculous to see these low accounts sitting in gc already. Dropped controls(worst in bg’s vs anywhere else), modders, and horrible choice of my champs. It’s just a nightmare this season.
Oh, I won‘t read all that, but it’s just the nature of this game mode that some won’t make it to the end. The stronger accounts (dedicated long time players + whales) eat the fish.
I‘m struggling, too, because I was lazy and didn’t finish this or that, so I don’t have R5s yet and not that many 7* … so in the same position as the complainer, but I take it as it is.
How many BGs complaints threads are we up to now at this point? 1,645,766 is my educated guess
Depends on how long it takes them to improve the mode. The crux of this game mode for most players is that you’re being asked to flip a coin repeatedly and produce more heads than tails. It’s an absolute drudge.
I understand that it’s a competitive mode, but as terrible/useless as the solo event is, the victory track needs to do more to reward participation. All of the design principles expressed about competitive play should belong to the victory track.
One underrated thing that makes BGs suck for players like me: I’m a paragon player with 7 6r5. I’m a very average skill player and a low spender ($100-150/yr?) who compensates for those shortcomings by grinding units and other rewards in daily events and quests.
My roster is good enough to make TB players forfeit. I’m mediocre enough to lose to other paragon players. My win rate stays balanced because I get these “gimmes” but I don’t actually get the satisfaction/encouragement of competing and winning. I just have to queue up another match that I’ve got a 45% chance to win if it’s against a comparable opponent.

I’m curious to know what your “solution” is in this instance, because you’re beating accounts smaller than yours (as you should) and you’ve got a > 50% win rate against similarly sized accounts. I don’t want to be that guy that says “git gud” or “skill issue,” but…
So if BGs is all about spending and roster size, how does Brian Grant always make ti to the GC with a sub 16k prestige and zero R5/R2s as a F2P?
Maybe it's not a spending/roster issue and more a skill issue.
Brian Grant is miles ahead of the tryhard gang, and his roster is peak as he has been a tryhard from the get-go. Lets see you with an account started within the last few years or after taking a break getting to his level. Lets see it
I honestly don't get what you're trying to prove here. Are you trying to say that no other f2p player can reach his level?

Personal attacks are NOT necessary.
