Okay, so you like it the way it is. I don't agree. I'm not going to stop voicing my opinions because you don't agree.
You don't have to participate in my Thread either, but here we are.
I'm not going to stop competing because I don't agree with the scoring changes.

This isn't your thread. This is a community messaging board where everyone can share their opinion. I don't agree with you and I'm allowed to voice my opinion also. You seem to be very angry and the best course of action for your own mental health might be to take a break from the game mode. The scenario you are talking about only happens probably 5% or less in fights and to be honest I've probably encountered it 5x since BGs started. Not all game modes are made for all people. Maybe take a break, go outside and enjoy nature and come back.
You're certainly allowed to voice your opinion, and you've done it several times, with the added disrespect of making certain personal judgments about me, and dismissive suggestions.
Thank you for your feedback. I prefer to engage in a more productive manner.
I have made zero personal judgments. You have multiple times to multiple people and it is against forum rules. I made zero personal judgments so that is hilarious. You called another person asinine and have been dismissive to anyone that has tried to engage with you. You haven't once answered my questions on how the current point system isn't fair, just that your way is the only fair way. I'm surprised the moderators have allowed your rant to continue. You have broke all of these rules in this thread.

    2. We expect all Summoners to treat each other with respect. Insults, personal attacks, harassment, inflammatory posting, or generally rude posts will not be tolerated in either the forums, or private messages. This also includes the use of inappropriate, vulgar, discriminatory or offensive language of any kind.

    9. Make your posts constructive. Constructive posts are easier for us and the community at large to address. Your feedback is valued, however duplicate or seriously off-topic posts aren’t. Where applicable we will move, merge, close or remove posts to keep the discussion going in a constructive direction.

Its not fair because he can't get into GC, that's why he says "its fine for GC but not for regular players".
He has been holding a grudge against BGs because he made it to GC for 2 seasons when they changed the coin win/loss system to 2-1 and ever since its 1-1 and this scoring he can't.

You can get into GC by using victory shields though to prevent dropping so that doesn't make a lot if sense. If you aren't willing to use them then you run the risk of dropping back to the beginning of the tier. It is supposed to be a competition and not everyone will make it to GC. They will either have to wait and build their roster, or practice and play better. They are matched against similar rosters so I don't understand the problem. There are still options to get into GC. The current format is very fair especially with so many different variables to deal with in the game.

It does when "someone" claims using tons of shields to get out of lower tiers before this "someone" was seeded on previous seasons.

So basically change the whole game for me attitude instead of using the tools and options we all have at our disposal to advance in the game.

I like the change, the "Nuke" meta removed the skill aspect and only benefits aggressive playstyle. Most players don't have that type of playstyle so it caters to people that don't care about getting hit.

Yes, its also funny to think that the people who "dance around and dex" don't have the skills to nuke him instead of using skill based tools like dexing.
I'm pretty sure most players just dance around dexing and dodging cause that's all they know how to do and not cause its the way to score more points. He is the ultimate nuke master.

Sure, let's ignore what someone is saying and comprise our own conjecture based on whatever else they've commented over the last few months. Lol.

As the elected champion of the little guy, you would think that GW would support a system that gives smaller players with more skill a chance to win over the big guy.

It's not Arena, though. It's a competition. One where we're fighting to take down the other side. Everything about this scoring is counterintuitive to what the point of a fighting competition is. The Health and Time Points should be equal. That's the only fair measure.

I thought it wasn't a competition when we were talking about matchmaking and rewards in the VT? You seem to be arguing multiple sides of each argument.

You want a KO win scoring system? What will happen to the UC and Cavs you always defended for so long, to the FTP players when all of the sudden all the monster accounts go with a suicide mastery and just wreck every match?

I'm not sure where the sense of entitlement comes from. This thread belongs to the community to discuss topics. I have a very strong opinion that the current rules have been a great change. But apparently I'm not allowed to have an opinion because someone owns a thread? Doesn't sound like healthy behavior for the community threads. I appreciate your feedback and even if we disagree you haven't put me down or belittled me. Thank you for that BringPopcorn.

Not getting hit, ending a fight with the majority of your health. That can define skill. I can KO anyone with any champ with enough units.

Taking down a champ doesn't take much skill. Not getting hit and playing around the nodes does take skill. Not getting hit and taking down a champ takes the most skill.

Getting hit in the face because you don't know how to dex or fight an opponent is not a skill.

I want the system to go back to having equal Bonus for Time and Health.
Neither system will prevent those Players from getting wrecked, and I've already expressed time and again that at some point, they're going to hit a wall. That wall usually comes around Plat 2, for some, and I've done what I can when they post about Matchmaking to encourage them to keep trying.
The whole "K.O. must win" aspect of this discussion was an aside, based on theory. The point of even trying to win the Fight is to K.O. the opponent. That's true anywhere in the game. We don't play to not take them down.

Actually it does take skill. You have 2 minutes to get the Champ down, and that takes skill. People aren't just standing still taking every hit. There is no room for error, and that's the problem I'm trying to highlight.

Its true in other parts of the game, in BGs you are not trying to beat the AI, you are trying to beat the other player and his skills

There is no room for error?! What?! You lost with a KO after you used your "skill" to pick an attacker, you commited EVERY error possible.

As the elected champion of the little guy, you would think that GW would support a system that gives smaller players with more skill a chance to win over the big guy.

Define skill. It takes skill to take the Champ down.
Taking down a champ doesn't take much skill. Not getting hit and playing around the nodes does take skill. Not getting hit and taking down a champ takes the most skill.

Getting hit in the face because you don't know how to dex or fight an opponent is not a skill.
Actually it does take skill. You have 2 minutes to get the Champ down, and that takes skill. People aren't just standing still taking every hit. There is no room for error, and that's the problem I'm trying to highlight.
Why should the person who makes more errors win over the person who makes less?
Why should someone who focused more on keeping Health than taking Damage down win?
Why do you keep pretending the other person just dexed for 2 mins?
If you lose after getting your KO, it means the other person dealt a significant ammount of damage while not getting hit. Why do you keep pretending the other person just danced across the screen the whole time.

Why do you keep pretending the other person has no skill whatsoever and just took every hit on the chin?
The answer is there's more to it just "skill vs. no skill".

Because he lost with a KO.

Because that's how the points work. You don't seem to understand how BGs work.

You're basically arguing that a football team that scores 2 touchdowns should beat the team that scores 1 touchdown and kicks 3 field goals because touchdowns are cooler.

I'm aware of how the Points work. You get more Points, you win. The allocation of those Points is what I'm discussing so that's redundant.
In fact, with 30k for the K.O., that's the main focus. You call it nuke, I call it fighting to win.
