Seriously though, what are these guys going on about? They're acting like it's a matter of death. Kabam should be told to not create such a large gap in rewards. Why in the heck would you LITERALLY do what Kabam wants you to do while not having them change anything

Apparently Thronebreakers are worth nearly 8x more than cavalier players If we equate the 5* shard offered to the 6* in way of comparable ingame currency (incursion artifacts). 5k 5* shards are worth 11k artifacts (since a fully formed 5* is 22k) and 5k 6* shards are worth 80k (given I just purchased 2k 6* shards for 32k artifacts). TB's should absolutely get more than cavs but this gap that kabam are creating purposefully is unfair to hardworking cavs that have not been dealt a kind hand by the RNG gods (and this is not for me by the way, whiilst I am a cav I am still working my way towards act 6 completion - near the on of 6.3 - so nowhere near ready).

Obviously my perspective is probably a bit different as I’m sat in my ivory R3 Ghost tower (recently made, but very chuffed). I wouldn’t R3 someone like Rhino necessarily, I would R3 someone like Ronin though.

Before thinking about that, however, I’d go ahead and complete 7.1. It’s fun, and there’s none of the BS that Act 6 was littered with. You don’t need to have a maxed Ghost, Quake and Doom - or whatever you perceive to be the meta - to complete it. I’ve been using some fairly random champions for it and I’ve barely spent anything and what I have is more to laziness.

The 25% there might push you in the right direction or make justification of a less ‘meta’ R3 be far more palatable

Or just play the game to enjoy it and progress at your own pace. Unless you're in a super competitive alliance which if you aren't already thronebreaker you're probably not there's nothing wrong with slowing down your progression a little bit. I didn't play in an alliance for a long time because I didn't want to commit to daily AQ and AW. Did it hurt my progression? Absolutely. Did I enjoy the game more because of it? Again absolutely. In fact not being in an alliance for 6 months+ probably hurt my progression in terms of resources loss far more than if I had say not become Thronebreaker for six more months. You're not going to be able to enjoy the game as much with a rank 3 rhino vs a champion you actually enjoy playing.

If you stop comparing what you get vs everyone else and be satisfied with your own journey with the game you'll have a lot more actual fun playing.

And that is not how life works. If you have temptation to progress, you progress. If you don't, you are just lagging yourself behind the generation.

Kabam have been told all right. Multiple on multiple on multiple threads. At this point thousandths of comments from dissatisfied cav players telling them they are doing the wrong thing, and to change their ways.
But this is Kabam, and the thing I've learned about Kabam is that they will put out a one paragph apology of false promise, let the thread die down, then leave it at that.
Unless there's a full community uprising like earlier this year, they won't change anything. Things will say the same, so unfortunately (and I hate to say this) we have to do what we gotta do to keep up, that is if a player cares about progressing in the game at a healthy rate, and getting the new standards of rewards kabam is setting up with thronebreaker.

we (the cav players that have completed act 6 or close to it) have been very vocal about how the r3 requirement being complete and utter bs, and as time goes on weve been vocal about the massive gap between the 2 rewards wise and how cav has been shoved into the same tier as uncollected despite the vast difference between an account that just got uc and one that just got cav, let alone one thats near cav and one thatd be at tb if it werent for the r3 requirement

We all should not have instantly blown up on Kabam (FOR NOW) as while the calendar for Cav is meager, it barely impacts us FOR NOW and just helps to boost the already boosted Thronebreakers. The community should just wait a little longer until these upcoming December events in order to properly make the judgement call that Kabam is once again the enemy

I'm doing Act 7, and have 2 Rank 2 6*s as well as many Rank 5 5*s and I have not been "crying" as most Cavs. I am also FTP btw

You say that but, just from you being here arguing away, I think we both know its more than just a "mobile super game about superheros" for you, and its the same for me. I love this game as well, just the company kabam has been going down a rocky road recently.
I honestly don't think they will change things for cav players (if they did that'd be great). And because of that if you want to progress to next level you really do need to make a sacrifice on a t5cc to achieve it.
That's what kabam is making clear with these recent changes. Especially this calender being a message from kabam letting us know that yes, cavalier is the new uncollected.

The problem is that this is not instant. This is the 3rd time (at the very least) that cav players have been reduced or shoved into a lower bracket as if the achievement has considerably less meaning than it once did. Seating just did a video where nearly 2 months of daily TB crystals rewarded considerably more than 6 months worth of cav daily's (it was a lot more). the black friday cash offers were huge for TB's (got more from a £29 deal than cavs got for £100), although admittedly the unit offers were just terrible all round. Cavaliers were lumped in with UC in the glory store? How long do we wait to keep getting smacked in the face??

I agree, this game is important to all of us (how would it be here for 6 years?) but equating the fact about how the game is constantly moving and that it is similar to the importance of life is just wrong. This game (as much as I love it) is a game at the end of the day, it can do nothing to change me unless I let it. Life will change you and will change for you and isn't as predictable or simple as a video game
