Unless the in game timer was off in terms of the time, as of now there should have still been around 11hrs still left that may have allowed me to grind to at least three or four tiers higher than I was at currently in gladiators circuit. This is truly **** and some sort of compensation should be given for people especially those mid grind such as myself. I'm thinking one or two tiers higher than they would have been at this current moment.
Went away for me as soon as I won the finale match to get into gladiators circuit, game crashed immediately after winning, now I don’t know if it counted it or not, very bad timing
It's gone. BG on week 1 started with a bug, started 12 hour early. After that every week, meta refreshed 12 hours early. And I was expecting it to get bugged this week too. 🤦
I had *one match* left to do to hit the next milestone. Made sure I was reading the timers on the events correctly and was planning to do it in the AM. Well played.
Although the times were not posted, the weekly “turnover” happened at midnight (PST) everytime. The season started at midnight on Oct 17. Although the game timer was off, it does say in the original posting it ends on Nov 14. This is how the first season was as well.

Not exactly, I was able to make a final push last season at around this time. The timer is our guide and it being off isn't out fault. If at all it was off, kabam owes us compensation for misleading us.
Yup with daylight savings it ended at the correct time.
Wrong, it shown 21/22 hours remaining for the season for me at approx 8pm GMT on 13th Nov. If it was ending at midnight then the timer should of said 4 hours left not 21/22
You would think that an in game timer which everyone can see displaying the hours and minutes left that ticks down consistently would be accurate and be the final say over a date posted on the forums with no specific time listed... apparently not. What's even the point of the timer in game then if we can't trust it?

That's the best thing about it, the date did correspond with the in game timer, it should of ended in about 9.5 hours. Trust kabam to get it wrong on 2 fronts 😂
I think that they ended it when the nodes turned over they switched it off. But when I hit the hay last night I saw 19 hours left on the timer. I think they need to sync bg timers with the usual 6 pm (where I am) cycle of arenas etc. like the timers suggest, rather than the changeover happening overnight.
For me it’s quite nice tbh, was stressful thinking I might drop out of M1! For everyone else it’s really not ideal though, especially those still trying to sneak into the circuit.

As far as I am aware Kabam is investigating, so I do not believe BG ended at the “correct” time.
Most players would have no way to know at precisely what time the season started, and the announcement only gives a date, so players had every reason to believe the in-game timer, which was consistent with the announcement, was accurate.
Given no other information to the contrary, the only meaningful time is the announced time the event would expire, which was indicated by the mode timer (which was also generally consistent with event timers). The only thing we can definitively say is the mode ended before the announced time, as indicated in-game, which is problematic. Whether that was in some sense the “correct” time is something.I feel is irrelevant in this specific situation.

Keep the good job Kabam 😁
