So, you are making it more difficult yet not adjusting anything like rewards or even glory? Can I ask why? How does this benefit the players?
As we said in that post, we are working on a full refresh. We are not at a place or time where we can increase the rewards or fully refresh the mode right now.
If you aren't at a place or time to refresh the rewards then you shouldn't be at a place or time to refresh the difficulty. One should not go without the other. This is a great example of pure laziness
But how are you so sure that the difficulty has gotten worse?
Granted, Bleed and Poison champions may not be as effective in Alliance Quests as they were before, but Sentinels melt at the power of a Armor Break Champion, and a lot of the new Mini-Bosses have very common counters!
A defender with Mystic desperation, unblockable projectile specials, and double immunity are not indeed more difficult than one without these abilities.
This answer is a perfect representative example of how Kabam logic is and How transparency is the company with its customers. They do changes to increase selling portions and claim they did not.
Advice to Kabam, Marketing team should be separated from the game developing team. The should be developed from the perspective of how to make gaming content, then the marketing team work on how to get money from it. Marketing team in both side is missed up.
Can you please just get rid of the sentinels. I am assigned the immune path and the way that the ai works is riiiiidiiicolous. I always lose champs. I am tired of this money scam for revives. There was no need for this refresh. No one asked for it and it wasn’t needed. So plz just admit that you did this to make it harder and have people spend more money. Cause if that’s not why it sure seems like it. I would like to hear the logic behind this. And if sentinels are in the next aq season...
With the refreash. U should allow us the opportunity to refreash our champs. To allow us the opportunity to make adjustments to ur refresh. How about some rankdown stone so we can reconsider who to rank up to help us rank up champs better suited to deal with the sentenials

The people you are thinking about are the monetization people, not the marketing people. The marketing people advertise the game. The monetization people determine how to best generate revenue from the game.
@Kabam Miike incidentally is part of neither. Technically speaking, if I understand correctly, all the forum mods fall under community management. They are a completely separate group from the game developers.
Incidentally, every time I see this quote:
But how are you so sure that the difficulty has gotten worse?
I feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight Zone. It is the kind of question that makes you wonder if you haven't slipped into a different dimensional reality, where the sky is green, dogs have telepathy, and tripling the strength of a game critter makes them easier to kill.
I like a decent amount of things Kabam has done with this game, but between this AQ nonsense and the constant lagging, I'm losing interest extremely quickly.
Hi Kabam, we have been playing the new game play in aq and it seems as I observe that the Sentinels are quite upper hand on this. Sentinels pose a lot of counters if you look at the abilities it has, plus having an immune to bleed and poison is already an advantage to them. Even it does not trigger its super3 attack, its super2 is already devastating. In my opinion, replacing the symbiods with them is an unfair matchup to begin. The aq is much harder now and what makes it worst, the rewards are NOT worth it. Its a strategy to make players spend more buying potions and revives. I do hope you reconsider reviewing the gameplay in aq.
What a laughing joke you are kabam! I have never complained about this game and now I cant even complete day 1 of aq. Making me having to spend up large on revives and health pots to keep your pockets filled. Stop taking the fun out of the game and actually fix the problem you have caused. You haven't increased the rewards nor have you given out rank down tickets to help with these changes and champs that people have relayed on before this.
Rank3 5* Ultron against day2 first tier Morningstar is a waste of time. She took an L3 while losing only 3% health. She’s way to OP. Timed her out and she still had over half health smh
My issue with Kaboo. Is that they steer us into going after certain characters and ranking them up. We spend money and resources on them. Then they refresh or nerf certain key champs now we are put into a position where our champs that we spend resources and money on are. Obsolete forcing you to go at the new Champs to rank up, but now we have limited resources that’s why if they will or if they want to refresh the game then they need to give us rank tickets so we can refresh our champs, it take so much time and money to get the resources we need to rank up new champs
When you block one of her hits, she will gain a soul (her persistent charges)
Wait, what??? So why not just give her 5 charged to start the fight? Unreal
The goal with the Oppressive Curse buff is to give Morningstar ways to gain Souls (otherwise she'd never gain ANY) while also providing a way for skilled players to avoid giving them to her. If you intercept her, she'll never gain any. If you don't, you'll need a bleed immune Champion
@Kabam DK she is awaken and gains a soul from the start so you indeed need a bleed immune champ.
Clap clap. Kabam always outdoing themselves on bugs. Guess what since it’s not beneficial to the players they are gonna keep it all aq. Yay! Now if that bug had benefitted us the game would have went down for emergency maintenance and be fixed promptly. This is why people are walking away and no one trusts anything the mods say. Ridiculous that as always we have to bend over and take it.
To be honest, I think if the bug deleted an unoccupied node the devs would be similarly slow to make changes even though that would be a small net benefit.
There's a germ of truth to the notion that bugs that benefit the players are acted upon faster than bugs that hurt the players. How fast and how dramatically the devs take steps to address a bug generally involve what that bug's overall impact on the game is, especially in terms of resource management. A bug that hands tons of resources to the players is going to have a much higher priority than a bug that withholds resources from players. And that's because of a simple if harsh truth: when the game has an exploitable bug that can convert into tons of resources allowing that bug to persist will rapidly unbalance the game because players will quickly gravitate to that exploit if left unchecked. But when a bug exists that withholds resources from the players, all that tends to do is globally slow everyone down, which isn't as big a threat to game balance.
Game developers don't explain this very well, or at all. And it translates into honestly predictable suspicions surrounding their motives when they act to stamp out bugs in obviously different ways for different bugs that have nothing to do with the effort involved to address them.
The last event that had paths that didn’t work as intended was the Bautista challenge. It was initially constructed in a manner that was a major benefit to the players.
The developers hotfixed it in under four hours.
This time, they are saying that an incorrectly constructed path that makes playing more difficult and time intensive cannot be fixed for at least a week.
Unfortunately, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior and Kabam has eroded the communities trust to the point where there is hardly any left.
I just wanted to thank you for your continued feedback. I know you are all anxious for updates from us, and I totally understand why as we are going into a new AQ week. But please hang in there and be patient as the Game Team is looking at and analyzing the behind the scenes data that has been gathered so far. When we have any more meaningful information to share with you about the changes, we will. Thanks!
This is laughable...
There was a vocal opposition to the change BEFORE the change was implemented. The players told you before hand what the impact would be day to day. We got the response of "How do you know?" We know because we play day to day.
This is no different then when the changes to AW were introduced. Before they went live, the community, the player based pointed out the problems with the plans BEFORE it went live and we had to deal with it. We were told then the same kind of things. Then when it went live everything the community pointed out would be a problem turned out to be a problem.
The same thing happened with 12.0 the community pointed out all the problems BEFORE they went live and the problems called out all turned out to be true.
How many more times does this have to happen? The costs and frustrations of doing AQ right now outweigh the benefits of doing AQ.
I’m pretty sure there is enough “data” to,show consumable use has increased drastically. Even after a full week and into the second week, “adapting” to them has not made them the same difficulty as symbiods. They are still just as awful.
So mission accomplished? More energy needed, more potions used, more units and cash spent. Thats the appearance at least... and it’s hard to blame people for being apprehensive about anything Kabam says. 3 years of this... is enough ever enough?

@JRock808 there appears to be a bit of a disconnect between us the game player and Kabaam at the moment. I get they have to make money but they also need to have a product that is fun to play. I love the skill element of MCOC and do not mind spending money in that pursuit, however at the moment, AQ in particular is incredibly tedious. Doing the same silly pounding move on tall robots is downright awful. At least the Symbiods had differing movements and fighting styles. Sentinels are SO boring!
I'm one of those people that find Sentiods easy to kill, yet I still want them gone, because I hate them. I hate their animation. I hate their movement. I hate their abilities. AQ has become like an Arena grind.
@Kabam Miike My sincere apologies for the swear word (b**ls) that appeared in my post that got deleted . I intended to use hashtags to cover most of the word, but my comment still stands. Sentiods are not fun, in terms of animation, playability etc. They are wooden. The Marvel Universe including Symbiods , each character has it's own flowing animation and that je ne sais quois about them. Sentinels and Sentiods are really awful.
I know you have to make money , but this is not the way to do it! Whoever, thought of doing this change to AQ needs to eat some humble pie and admit they did wrong!

Many alliances have been decimated by these inconsistent "updates" = money grabbing scams.
if high end players that never use items on pre-sentinel AQ Day 5 and now are dying on early through the AQ week then, yes they are harder. This players dont even use Champs that inflict bleed to begin with so its not that sentinels are bleed immune is the whole mechanic of them requiring an extraordinary amount of hits to defeat especially when on a Bleed path, can anyone tell me of a Bleed immune that has armor break?

King Groot.
That would be a painfully long fight though. He isn’t exactly a heavy hitter
He didn't say he wanted a quick fight haha. I just gave him an answer for that. I opened a 6* of him and may try him out soon.
