He is an appropriate champ and actually fun to fight but the nodes you have him on make him all but impossible without very specific counters and even then he is more difficult than he should be.
Spite is a pain but can deal with it, Empathic lock is a pain but can deal with it, Oscillate is a pain but can deal with it. The combination of those things makes that AQ map just a resource sink and money grab became even highly skilled players are likely to lose the best counters to him.
Please look at tweeking the difficulty of it.
Morever, if tapping block twice activates falter, then it means block is considered a command for this node mechanic. So, if i do medium, block, medium, it should not activate it. However that also activates it. Cant have it both ways, pls fix this.
And what about can’t stop me node. The power gain while unstoppable makes an already annoying node that forces you to bring champs that are uselsess in any other game mode, almost imposible to deal with. The limited time you are unstoppable you spend baiting them. If you are too aggressive while unstoppable, get ready to eat an sp3. The half of the champs that can become unstoppable doesn’t work because of what, pasive unstoppable???? Come on, we cant even distinguish between passive and buffed unstoppable, champs descriptions are not specific enough. This caused players to waste incredible ammount of resources trying champs that should work, but didn’t....
Did you even tested these new nodes? Was a beta made?????? Smh
This must be a joke. Please define the word “plenty” for the players. So far, based on player testings, only about 4 champs work.
Also don’t contradict yourself. You put a massive power gain while unstoppable that punishes you heavily for being aggresive while unstoppable, but then say this is all about being aggresive while unstoppable....
To top it off the global node of granting unblockable for 15 seconds if you dex 10 times is ridiculous. You can manage dex to some extent with blocking or controlling your evades to avoid the dex buff. But at some point you have to dex, especially if you don't want to eat tons of chip damage since there is multiple fights with can't stop won't stop. Using a rank 4 Thing I had to use all 15 items to get through the Chamption and Ultron. Sure I could have done a couple things different and used maybe a couple less items. Captain Marvel I did about half damage with Thing before the power gain pushed her to a sp2 while she was also unblockable. Dead with no items left. Went in with Omega Red but timed out while doing very little damage. I managed to finish her off with a rank 5 Proxima with 2 missions completed, but still almost timed out on that fight.
And this is Day 1. These nodes are not going to be possible on later days without timing out (likely multiple time outs) and using items even with the absolute best options at rank 5. Something needs to be done. This isn't even getting into any other nodes that are causing problems because they are broken and/or too overtuned without having been tested. This appears to be happening across all of the maps in my alliance (7,6,5).
My alliance had been making slow but steady progress on this map, which was already a challenge that required all,10mplayers to do pretty well. Now we’re all getting bombed by the section 2 Hype mini-boss. You know, Hyperion is a hard fight without the power block/flood ****.
Maybe it is time to scale back, go FTP and drop out of this alliance. I’m here to have fun, not be aggravated by money-grabbing nodes.
Map 7 Can't Stop Won't Stop Champion really is awful. I'm in a Plat 3 AW, top-400 AQ alliance. Not elite, but certainly very strong. Everyone can bring R5 attack options at least. I spent two hours planning path assignments after the map was revealed. We did our research on early impressions of the node, and learned about all the problems with bringing Unstoppable champs, so we didn't bother. Instead we took the approach of using heavy hitters or regen champs to timeout/rinse/repeat. Ultimately it took the combined efforts of four alliance members, including two with Legend titles. We lost Blade, GR, Sparky, Aegon, Proxima, Nebula, Corvus, Hyperion, and Star Lord. Domino trinity finally did the last bit of damage to get through. We decided to skip the outermost 6 paths in Section 2, because there was no way we could get through. We probably still won't get the boss.
We're not going to do this again. I'm not doing this again. Things need to be fixed.
For some financial perspective for Kabam, we aren't the biggest whales in my alliance but we do spend. As an alliance, I would guess we average about $1000-$1500 per month (aside from xmas/July 4/etc.). But this type of content turns us all off of spending. We want to spend our money getting better champs, clearing interesting content, etc. We are not going to spend our money just to get through one path of Day 1 of AQ. We're not morons. We know that the return on any investment in AQ is really bad.
I'm not even going to get into how messed up it was to start new AW map at the same time as AQ. I feel like I can't even process AW yet. I think there are some good things there, especially the ability to clear the boss even if certain lines get stuck. But many roadblock nodes too. So AW may end up looking OK in the end. Right now though AQ is taking all of my attention and not in a good way.
It’s not as bad as other nodes but it’s another combo where I was like hmm that may suck and now seems I need a different champ for each section
This game needs some major changes, especially in end game, like % revives and potions everywhere, and buffed up rewards in some crystals (who tf needs that 75 iso **** above level 20???)

But at least the updated rewards make it worth it. Oh wait....
Again we are told there is no content designed in the game for “specific champions” and that ALL champions have a place in this game for all content.
Yep and that’s what makes the RNG aspect so awesome. Loving all the trash champs I keep getting for 10k shards. Hold my beer I got this.
