as soon as I get the rewards from the last arena I'll post it here and then you'll see what I get for the exact same grind. Cause last round of arena I did 12,1 in the 5s featured, 6 mln in the 4s featured and 2,1 in the 4s basic, which is pretty much the same grind as I can push for with the new system to cover only the stupid 4 star arena and just one of the 2 6s arenas

I used to grind the milestones for the Old Basic arenas with: 1.5M points (10 milestones) 135 units. 14,800 PHC Shards
But in the new structure 1.5M points = 25 units & 1250 GMC Shards?
In the old basic arena, older champs is about 1.5m to 1.8m and it's yours but now even trash champs we'll have to go for 2.5M? No thanks.
We can even have some luck and pull 2x 4* champs from those 14,800 phc shards in the old arena if we grind all milestones for 1.5M and we are happy with the iso, While in the new structure we can't even have a fully formed GMC for 1.5Min the basic arena 😂
Now less units, less iso, and a hell of a grind for FTP grinders just to get that 4* basic champ. More time wasted, that's rather spent on other stuff.
Does the new structure of the arena contemplate the increase in points per fight won?
Also consider the reduction in the cooldown of the champions to fight again?
Otherwise, even without trying the new arenas, the quality of life of the average player is seriously affected, both in time and in units won due to the high milestones that were established.
Agreed with everything said prior. This is a huge disappointment. Casual grinders now have far less potential for units than before, which was the sole reason (for me) for grinding arena in the first place. At minimum, rebalance the units towards the initial milestones rather than the top milestones.
It would be interesting to see what happens if the first 5 milestones contained the majority of units leaving the remainder for those who wish to compete for a champ in rank rewards.
Instead of grandmaster shards (which have terrible percentages to get anything other than a 3*), replace with 5 and 6* shards, please.
You significantly augmented the grinding required to get the same rewards that we got before. Between the 5 arenas before i would do all the milestones for 5* featured, 4* featured, 4* basic and 3* featured and it would take the 3 days to do that. 33 million points in both new arenas vs 16000 million points between the 5* featured and 4* featured. That means if I do the same amount of grind that I've always done (which is significant) I will get less than previously. You're taking away resources from us and adding a couple of grandmaster shards isn't worth double the grind for me. Im very disappointed and I urge you to reconsider the milestones. It should be like 20 million tops between both 6 star arenas.

Miike, I really don't want to come across rude in any way- but could you explain the thought process behind the effort staying roughly the same. I'm not sure if it's staying the same on any level?
Milestone grinders get less units per round, wherever they go- that's putting more effort in for the same units
4* Basic grinders will have to go higher as the cut off was generally between 1.5 and 2 Mil. CGR went for 2.3m as an absolute high and we have the milestone there, champions like Dr strange go for 1.5 mil and now they will be 2.25 mil.
4* featured grinders will have to go higher as the cut off is generally between 5-7mil, with a couple spikes at 10-12 mil.
The rank rewards will be at an all time high with the introduction of 6*, and ranked rewards (non champion) don't seem to have increased.
The only positives I can draw from this is that the 4* being there as a milestone gives you a set target to go for, but you have to push way further than you ever would before.
The milestones should have cav crystal shards in them instead of gmc shards. If I can hit the milestones on both arenas, 5* aren't going to help me at all.
Besides that the new change is terrible in general. Looks to be so much more of a time sink for hardly any more payout.
I’m thronebreaker but I also have a full time job and kids. I am not at all interested in grinding away to hit all of these milestones. The rewards are not worth the time mindlessly slogging through arena. I’m definitely not a whale but I am a moderate spender. These changes do not motivate me to spend on the game. If anything, it takes the fun out of the game and makes me want to play other games after 6 years.
There is a lot of negative posts here, very quickly and no positive. I think they are going to be overwhelming for a reason. With so much going on in the game, arenas are one of primary unit gain modes. New design has made this mode even more tedious than previous and has just made me angry. I hope this is a late April Fools joke or something. It doesn't seem thought out like other improvements at all. Whoever came up with "Auto" idea, maybe give them a bonus pay and whoever come up with this idea should be sacked. In event they are the same person, let them redeem themselves. Regardless, this was made with a very shallow point of view of a perspective of "summoner with crazy full roster and nothing but time on their hands". Unfortunately, this kind of shenanigans is just going to inflict bad feelings of anger and disappointment and you'll have less new customers in hopes of keeping a small percentage of your top ones. Hopefully you made them happy.

the point is, NOT EVERYBODY HAS 80 6* to be able to grind those arenas easily. MOST of us have plenty of 5* available to grind. PLUS THE BIG DIFFERENCE is on the cooldown of the 6* in comparison to the cooldown to the 4* and 5* that we used on the other arenas. if we miss a round due to real life issues, GOOD BYE ARENA.
How am i suppose to have a better QoL experience, when i am FORCED to play my 6* star champs at a specific time to be able to grind the arenas? in the old arenas we used 4* and 5* that they cooldown earlier. this is A HUGE DIFFERENCE AND IT HAS A MASSIVE IMPACT ON OUR QoL.!!!!
Hello Everyone , first of all I want to clear that iam not that much of a hard grinder when it comes to arena but I weekly played both the Basic 4* arenas to hoard units for July 4 or cyber Monday or any other good deal and especially to get a champ that I don't have in my roster to play with them later in monthly EQ.
Now since the recent update I am in a dilemma whether I should grind arena or not because of the following points -
1. Earlier , When I grinded the 4* basic arena at 2.1 million points I had 135 units and a 4* basic hero ( 1%-10%category)generally a little higher if the champ was good and was fine by it.
2. Now in the 3vs3 summoner trials iam getting 140 units at 2.1 million score and not sure about the 1%-10% category since it is going to be pushed further 😞. So less shards to form a 4* hero.
3. And in the basic 6* arena I am getting 4* basic hero at 2.2 million points and only *35units* for grinding that much.
*I Sincerely Respect people who hard grind in arena to farm units and get the Basic or featured champ that they need cause I know how much time and energy it cost to reach that milestone especially the featured 5* ones )
But Now I am thinking about stopping playing arena as they made it really for hard grinders and not like players like me who play arena casually like me .
Hope someone can correct me if iam wrong here will sure give me hope to continue the grind in arena.

I used to hit 12mill in 5 star featured, 4 mill in 4 star featured, 1.6 mill in 4 star basic, 650k in 3 star featured and if I can find the time 260k in the summoner trial. If I really wanted to go hard, I will go 22 mill in 6 star featured, 4.5 mill in the 4 star featured and the rest are same. I usually skip the 2 star one because there are no boosts to speed up the grind. With this new change, its completely out of the picture that I can hit all milestones in both the 6 star arenas. 16.5 mill will take roughly 5 rounds with my 51 6 star champs and the maximum natural refreshes is 6, 7 if I push myself. This is actually a lot worse for me since I lose the units from one of the arenas. This is why we were asking to reveal the milestones so that we can give some feedback. smh

Not feeling this new arena structure at all. I'm not Uncollected so all I can do is grind the Summoner Trials for mediocre milestone rewards and 4* shards I don't need. You have successfully ruined arenas. Congratulations.
Using the same champions on both arenas is very restrictive and i cant run all arenas simiultenesly so the most units i can get is 200 less.Thx kabam 😤😤
it UTTERLY SUCKS!!! Now I'll be able to only cover the milestones for a single arena, given the limitations of my roster. Given that, what you achieved with this, is to halve the potential unit gain from farming arenas. Low blow and quite frankly me and my alliance mates are contemplating dropping the game. We can't spend much and we're endgame player. I have explored everything up to 6.1, the last 4 variants, 7.1. I finally got aegon and I'm planning an abyss run. I seriously don't think this is an improvement for my game experience. Actually, it makes me wanna quit. And I'm an occasional spender, since for the dobloon event I wasted money to purchase stuff. So it's not like you're losing only free to play players. Trust me on this, it's absurd to expect one can cover 16.5 millions in 2 arenas. Arena milestones are stupid. Just stupid. Unless you put more arena milestones and more units for lower scores, this is game breaking for many of us
not to mention: RANK REWARDS ARE A JOKE!!! Unless you can push for the top 30% in a single arena, you get absolutely nothing while as before with my grind I could scrap together 100 6s shards and 1500 5s shards, now I feel like 16,5 mln in a single arena will get me 250 5s shards. Absurd

All of your champ tiers could be used for a specific arena without conflict due to the cool down period.
With new arena system, I'll need to split my 6* and high 5* champs between the two 6* arenas. I'll also be afraid to use my lower ranked 5* champs for fear of drawing deathmatches against R3 6* teams, effectively reducing the number of fights I do per cycle and making it harder to hit all milestone.

@Kabam Miike How can you claim you want to keep the effort the same? This is a very bad change, at least for me.
I normally do all milestones in 4* basic (using my 4* champs). 4* featured (using only my 5* champs) and 5* featured (using only 6* champs) This means 4* = 1.5 million points 5* = 4 million points 6* = 12 million points.
This gives a total of 17.5 million points which gave me 405 units.
Now you have to grind 33 million points to get 400 units which is a BIG difference. How is this the same effort?
But I do like the change in milestone rewards. Adding GM shards was a good move. But on the other hand, rank rewards may be worse... But we’ll see.

Everyone is talking about the new 6* arenas, which is great, but I want to speak up for the little guys as well. I personally have not yet made it to uncollected. I play arena to collect units and shards to improve my roster, but this change has made it harder to do so. There are no 5* shards in summoner trials, AT ALL! Not in the milestones, not in the rank rewards. How does this assist us in becoming uncollected faster?

The only thing that's worth it and comparable to the previous grind is doing 12m in one of the 6* arenas for 140 units. I'm stepping away from arena for a week or so while I think this over. I have 18k units for July 4th but I really wanted to be at 21k.

This is a very bad change, at least for me.
I normally do all milestones in 4* basic (using my 4* champs). 4* featured (using only my 5* champs) and 5* featured (using only 6* champs)
This means
4* = 1.5 million points
5* = 4 million points
6* = 12 million points.
