U guys know what's actually comical about this issue?... Remember a few months ago.. they decided the "best" course of action to penalize some cheaters was to take away their 7* shards... And i say "best" cause it clearly was the "easiest"... We actually cheered and laughed at those cheaters that came to the forums to cry about it... Now the "best" course of action is let them keep those 7*... Its actually comical...
I also have to wonder if that conversion happened for players who hadn't yet bought the discounted crystals if they had 10k shards. And if the conversion did account for the discounted price, did they lower the amount of discounted crystals they could get from the store? All things considered, there's a chance some players are getting 4 7*s for 40k shards.

Don’t we have photos of an account with the same 7 star as before the “fix”? So did they really end up with the same champ after having it taken away and then having their shards converted to champs? And why even do that?
In another thread about this people are saying they’ve been given generic rankup gems to replace catalysts they spent ranking up champs they got from the bug. If that’s true that’s another big win for exploiting the bug. Generic gems mean more space for catalysts in their inventory and they aren’t bound to what class catalysts they have.
At this point I think it’s fair to ask Kabam to explain what on earth is going on. I’m not demanding, they don’t have to, but I think it’s a more than fair request.

Now we’re hearing that on top of that they are spending time trying to get these people their BG season rewards that they missed and refunding better rankup materials than they spent on the champs they should not have had. And they got to keep 7* champs they shouldn’t have. And maybe kabam support is telling people they converted people’s shards to champs for them which doesn’t make any sense to me.
Right now it seems like all upside for the exploiters and it keeps getting better for them by the day if everything being posted on here is true. So far Kabam hasn’t disputed any of those claims so I’m left to believe them.

Yes I mean those very details. Kabam should have a running list of accounts that are banned (even temp banned). I wouldn't want such a person in my alliance. Transparency would be good for the game.
