This is another point of contention for me about the moderation of this site. That thread was responded to by a mod with a clear answer. That’s great. But the thread was also closed by the mod. Why? Now you are going to get 50 more threads asking the same question you’ve already answered. I get joining it into this thread to keep the forum tidy. But closing a thread where you have addressed an issue only causes a reciprocating loop.

If you read the full thread, you'll find that someone from Kabam claimed sentinels won't have their sp3 active.
OTOH, that seems beside the point to me -- I find them annoying to fight, and lack of sp3 won't change that. For most champs, their specials are unavoidable damage or analysis charges. And once they get full analysis, they're much more annoying to fight. I don't have problems with them in the event quest (except the uncollected bosses, which I still completed without units but with some champs lost) -- but I just don't enjoy fighting them. Maybe that will change, but having to remember your last action and do something else (even if it's not optimal for the situation) each time is ... infuriating).
Their specials are easy to evade with 0 damage. For sp1 after you avoid the initial hit back dash to the edge of the screen. Once the beam is about to hit dashback then forward for the attach. The sp2 you just dashback as the rockets are about to touch each time. You will get the hang of it.
Why is everyone freaking out over Sentinels? You can avoid their analyze ability by mixing up attacks. L-M-L-M, M-L-M-SP1, L-M-L-SP2, etc. Same goes for defensive actions, mix up your blocks with dashing back and evading attacks. Button mashing is a poor attack strategy.
Only the skill Sentinel is remotely difficult because he nullifies parry/stun.
I'd love to see a legitimate poll to see what the fans think.

I think the reactions are a bit dramatic. It's not a new Season. Just something to freshen it up until they get to a new one. People will adapt to the new Champs the same as they did previous AQs. Let's face it. We wet bored with the same Bosses and Minis.

I can’t believe I’m defending Miike but he pretty clearly stated bleed and poison champs would be less effective. That’s champs that give bleeds and poison. Not champs that are immune to them.

I expect this to be a massive damage that will almost be an auto kill in a few seconds, IF you don’t have an r4 5*. All the while trying to bait his specials.

Sometimes I wonder if Kabam thinks we’re stupid. Yes, this does make AQ more difficult and it makes it more expensive. To claim otherwise is disingenuous. Increasing the difficulty without a commensurate increase in rewards is a slap in the face to the community and leaves people feeling cheated.
I don’t feel that it’s merely the increase in difficulty that upsets people. I think we’re also bothered by Kabam’s outright refusal to fix many of the known issues and bugs that make playing more difficult than it should be. If an issue or bug is beneficial to the player base it gets remedied within a few hours. If the bug makes Kabam money it is ignored and we are told that it is functioning as intended. What irks us the most is when we are told by Kabam that they are not doing whatever it is we are watching them do at the moment.
If rewards stay the same for now and can't really be adjusted...then why not adjust the price of the maps for the time being? We barely make enough gold in this game since you guys brought in 6*s. This isn't an attack, it's a suggestion while you do the full refresh.

One of the worst changes to AQ. I mean we could see it a mile away when sentinels appeared with various classes but I assumed this would be part of a full refresh- not some sneaky hack door attempt to negate Blade and other bleeders. Kabam has spent a year pushing bleed they new champs, deep wounds, etc... now it’s just another push to make us all revamp rosters...AGAIN.
Sorry this is a low blow move. Make us bring bleed immune champs for bosses while negating a lot of our recent rank ups by negating our bleeders. All for no more rewards.

That's not how it works.
His fear of the void doesn't actually cause any debuff damage (it just combines the *effects* of the 3 debuffs), just the actual 3 various debuffs he inflicts. And those of course can be removed by going over a 10 hit combo.

I’ve been on the fence for the past couple months on whether to continue playing mcoc. Adding Map5 miniboss NC in combination with sentinels seems like a good time. I’ve spent way to much on this game thanks to unblockable specials and all the other garbage cash grab nodes. Just imagine stun immune NC for map 5. Yippee so glad I earn 325 t4cc frags and 500 basic frags for putting up with that.
If no increase in rewards how about making making map 4-5 free and reducing donations for map 6 Well at least start gold realm its so hectic to keep grinding. Need gold for everything donations, ranking up, leveling up, it's a joke how you keep bringing in new content but ignoring small things community being asking for.
Any look at the app ratings lately? I wonder if they've changed yet? People are usially quick to react when they start disagreeing with what's going on.
With regards to the comments about how this version of Alliance Quests will be harder, we understand where you're coming from. As with anything you're unfamiliar with, it will be definitely be harder at first. It might take a little while to get used to, but we know our summoners, and we know how quickly they learn and can get used to new content, especially content that is recurring like Alliance Quests. If this update was so inconsequential that it was as easy at the start as you all find Alliance Quests right now (after months of practice) then there would be no point in us making this update, or ANY update for that matter.
It will take some time to get accustomed to the new encounters, but refreshing recurring content is important to keep the game fresh, and exciting!

Its just a way to make us discard the champs we have worked hard to rank up so we wont have to use tons of potions and revives to get through the map. And i was just starting to think that KABAM learned their lesson and started to respect the people they make money off. We ate up the block resistance nerf we ate up the willpower nerf, we ate up the change from % to flat rates which makes everything a lot lower, we ate the nerfing of Doctor Strange, Scarlet Wutch,Thor etc We ate the new AW, we ate the hirendous new MODOK labs I think we have to draw the line somewhere.
