33 Million to reach all Milestones is definitely a bigger effort then it was before ... I was looking positively to these Arenachanges , but that’s sick and @Kabam Miike please don’t pretend that you guys didn’t know that it takes more time ,than before ... Another let down ,after all these bugs and game crashes ...
The new structure will not only affect the number of units-battlechips won and the time, but also the obtaining of resources.

This specific change in structure generates a chain reaction that is detrimental to the entertainment that MCOC offers, the improvements in quality of life and the desire to continue in the game of a large base of summoners.
I understand that there is a need to make changes and promote the evolution of the game, but this act in particular is not friendly because it establishes an effort-reward relationship that is inversely proportional to the detriment of the players.
Only one word : Disappointed. You have killed the motivation of f2p players for playing this game. 1. Act 7.2 rewards the same as 7.1. Why? F2p players look forward for this type of content for good amount of 6* shards. 2. Coming to the main point. 33m for 400 units in new system and 17.5mil for 405 units(12m + 4m + 1.5m). You can clearly see double the effort for less units. Who will grind? We f2p don't have 100-120 6* to grind them nor the units to refresh them. I have always been f2p and will continue to be. I have grinded 6 months of arena to 100% abyss. Now with this changes to arena kabam(no change in point system or multiplier also), you should expect a lot of f2p players leaving this money game and I guess it won't make a difference to you as you will be getting your money.
Your wish kabam you just have to do two simple things i.e reduce the milestones and increase the units.
By the way the only thing I liked about the arena update is throne breaker crystal but you have to grind more for bc so ya not worth it

They should decrease the cool down of 6 stars to 6 hrs and 5 stars to 4 hrs to make it more feasible. Giving more points for 5 stars will be a good too. They should also decrease the milestones in the 6 star basic to make things better. Above all else, for god's sake give the 3 star featured champ at 640k milestone or closer. Why do we need to grind 6 mill for a new 3 star when we were getting them for 640k in the last system.
What was the thought process behind this move? I understand keeping the number of arenas simple and clean and giving smaller milestones would make people stretch and get that extra unit/milestone. The intention was good- however, i guess this has backfired. People with few 6 stars are going to struggle. They now have to be content with the summoner trials and grind more to get the same amount of rewards. Also the missing 1* and 2* arenas will impact the proven/contender FTP players. Few possible steps: 1. Reduce overall milestones 2. Distribute all units to the first 15 milestones in summoner trials, first milestones in 4-6 star arenas and only crystal shards battle chips for the remaining milestones 3. reduce cooldown for 5 star champions to 5 hours and 6 stars to 8 hours so that even people with few 5/6 star champions have a decent chance to get to some milestones. 4. Make one 4-6 star arena for units heavy and another shards heavy so that people can concentrate on the one that they need the most 5. Increase points for 4-6 stars by 20-30% (proportional to the stats given by others for the huge increase in total points to claim all rewards) 6. And most important - please have a post on how the new arena compares with the old one in terms of total rewards and the milestone points per unit gained (i guess this is a metric of showing how much additional effort is required)
PS: I don't usually comment in the forum - but since this impacts all players, thought i should voice my opinion.
Cav player here (7 6*s, all R1 and 3 5/65 5*s). When I did old arena grinds, I would hit all the milestones on the 3*, and both 4* arenas for about a streak of 45 in each, which took up most of my time in the game, but was doable because there was no overlap in the champs for each arena. This would earn the 3* champs from milestones and usually a 4* from rank rewards. But more importantly, it got me the units to clear new content and progress my roster.
My personal suggestion would be to shift the milestone requirements scale more exponentially and rework the reward structure to provide more custom rewards for people at those milestone levels. So if there's 15 milestones, milestones 1-6 (Under 1.5 million) would be pretty close to one another and be heavy on units and grandmaster (or even phc) shards. 7-10 (1.5-3 million) drops the 3* and 4* champs + more units. And 11-15 (1.5-3 million each) are dropping few units, but more 5/6 star shards for upper cav and thronebreakers. So progressing players get more units, but cavs/tbs can grind for the extra resources they need.
16.5M for one is too much and I am a milestone grinder. I will not be able to grind for 33M. Just can’t. As an FTP, guess my hopes for July 4th are in the trash

Our goal is to keep the effort roughly the same, but of course, with reducing the number of Arenas, that's going to be difficult. With the change of the rarities allowed in each Arena, the points are definitely going to be different, but we want to keep the effort roughly the same.
If that's not the case, we want to know! We won't know that on the first day or possibly even the first run, but please keep the feedback coming.
I used to run the featured 4* and 5* for milestones netting 270 units for 16 million points.
Doesn't look like there is anyway for me to get the same rewards for the same effort. I'm not asking for more but an equivalent amount would be nice
Thought kabam said it will make life more easier, less time to reach all the milestones. This new system isn’t as it should be. Double the points for the same amount of units but keeping the points earned in each round? Why?
Honestly, this is insane. I assume the real objective must have been to reduce the amount of "free" units given out to the player base as a whole. Sure some may get 5 more units, but the majority of us will get approximately 100 less units each.

I only ever did the 4* basic due to time constraints.
Now using 4* champions, I'm up against 5* champs in round five. In round six I started using my 5* champs and was put up against 6* champs. How is that fair so early in the streak?
Also, the fights seem to be harder, which only exasperates the effort needed to reach the milestones.

This is one of the biggest mess-ups in the history of MCOC. Beginners with a shallow roster CANNOT compete with others with deeper rosters. The unit grind has been raised by a lot, repelling beginners. Even those with good rosters are getting death matches, aka those matches which are essentially unwinnable. This is unfathomable kabam. I will probably quit, if I have to grind this much more.

So I should have the opportunity to run more arena for the same number of units? The issue really is the point discrepancy. A lot of the changes are great, and if they wanted to add unitless milestones for extra shards, I'd be fine with that. But for those who want the units, this is a lot more work and this issue absolutely should have been anticipated
I am not getting if you are agreeing with me or not. If you are saying that the units should be within the 6 mill milestone in both the 6 star arenas and above that it should be shards only, I would be fine with that too. What about the battlechips earned, should they also be limited to the early milestones? I have no issue if they keep the milestone even at 40 mill, if they keep the units in the lower milestones and give the shards in the higher milestones.

So here’s why players feel cheated. The old system with numerous arenas rewarded using your highest tier champs available. If you’re trying for “supplemental income,” so to speak and you’re not a hardcore grinder, you could get your multiplier up in the top 3 arenas, then use your max 4’s in the 4-star basic, your max 5’s and 4/55 champs in the 4-star featured arena, and mostly 6-stars in the 5-star feature.
This system abandons all of that in favor of getting as many 6-stars as possible.

So far the matches have felt the same, but I am really having trouble motivating to get to it knowing how much less i would be getting overall.
Things I like and you should keep: - Champ in milestones - less arenas - grandmaster shards (should be cavalier for cav+ players)
Things that need to change: - Cooldown times - points differences based on rank of champion - Milestones
I’m thinking of buying a Shang chi cav now, since I think it’s going to be extremely hard to get the extra 2.7k units I need for 4th of July. I’m not a hardcore arena grinder, and I don’t exactly have the time or the patience for it. I’m also a ftp Cav player
It's a dud. Before I had more choices as to which Champions I wanted to hunt down as a collecter. When you remove choice the game always takes a step backwards in my opinion.
I don't really think this takes away your choice, if anything it does give you more.
This is NOT a quality of life improvement at all. A lot more work and time in arenas for 5 more units? Not sure how you think this improves our arena experience. It’s going to discourage people from doing arena
They didn’t do this arena update to make another quality of life improvement as they never mentioned it.
Definitely WAY TOO MUCH to grind. Already the arenas are very repetitive and needs dedicated grinding, we are getting for to grind 3 times the previous for same rewards

As someone who's been grinding arena for Abyss paths, this is very disappointing.
I used to run every arena and get all milestones. This was easily achievable with my roster. Now I can't finish milestones, or get close. I have 45 6*, I'm done all content (Minus Abyss) and I can't finish arena milestones now
A quick glance on the milestones and I say it looks great so far. I think it makes more sense to add more milestones spread out because we are growing our rank up collection more and more.
