@Kabam Miike@Kabam Jax can you guys take a look at this please, the silent treatment will only make things worse
What exactly are you threatening them with?
Wtf? When did i threaten anyone?
You said they would only make things worse. When people say that, they have some position of authority and have some type of power. Be it law enforcement, a parent, an employer. So what exactly are you going to do that makes it worse?

Yeah, I’m not sure what he’s getting at here either. If the threat is boycott or no-spend BF/CM, good luck with that. Not only does this situation not merit that, but those kinds of collective actions are famously hard to implement.
It’s a crummy deal, assuming the allegations of significant double-dipping are accurate. Team should have handled this a month ago.

I'm still wondering where is the threat that I'm failing to see, in the statement. No where it was mentioned about boycott or non spending. Just said silent treatment makes things worse. Which is an obvious thing to state.

Dr. Zola usually i have a lot of respect for your comments and they most of the time are very lucid, that being said...there was a lack of interpretation for you and laserjohn, that was NOT a threat...what i meant by saying that will make things worse? Well to answer that i will simply quote my previous comment....this is what i THINK it'll happen if kabam doesn't adress this in any way:
I think this is more impactful and important than people realize, is not just about rewards, it's about trust In the past people who exploited some bugs like this one were banned but lately kabam has been soft about it and letting it go, jax clearly said people weren't able to get the extra rewards and also we know it's an obvious exploit, no one was like ''oh maybe if i ran again i will get more rewards, let's try'' c'mon, you knew what you were doing
Where do we go from here if kabam doesn't take any action, either ban or compensation? How do we trust now that the next bug we need to be careful? Me for example knew about the bug with time enough to do at least 3 runs and i didn't do it cause i was like ''ain't no way kabam will let this go away'' and here we are
If nothing is done about, next bug hell yeah i'll take advantage and i'm sure more people will do the same cause we can assume that nothing will be done about it, because we have no trust anymore about these exploit rules and etc
So there you go, i think if nothing is done about it people will simply lose their trust in the rules and more exploit will happen, it's not a situation where ''if you don't do nothing i will exploit from now on'' but it's something that inevitably will happen...it's not a threat, it's a domino effect

If that’s what was meant (and it wasn’t clear to me from the comment), then I understand and I would have to agree.
I have zero qualms about running Paragauntlet a second time next time this happens. If you look at my comments in one of these few Paragauntlet threads (would be nice if mods actually tidied up the forums), you’ll see I said precisely that. This is the problem with selective/no enforcement.
My only issue with the comment is that the “make things worse” portion seemed to imply something more ominous.

I never was the type of person that calls for boycott or anything like that, what i meant was simply the domino effect that it would cause
I understand that it wasn't clear for you from the comment but since the comment that i quote was from this very thread, i didn't specify in order to not repeat myself
Any plans to address this? The rewards from gauntlet are pretty significant so it would be appreciated if players who didn’t exploit this could get an extra run of gauntlet or some compensation

It would be much appreciated if they did because us who didn't exploit it are at a disadvantage
Unfortunately no word yet friends and I sadly im starting to believe we wont get any word on the topic which is admittedly very disappointing. The only thing we can hope for it keeping traction on this topic and @Kabam Miike and cross our fingers in faith our voice is heard
It's crazy because multiple posts on this topic exist and each have 4k+ views.
They also had a Livestream and launched Necropolis today, I'm sure they've had their hands really full. Not to mention already a bug within Necropolis boss which is quite frankly hilarious.

I thought the same...but then they fixed the double track issue, and the grandmaster boss issue, within hours.
Well congratulations kabam, 5 days already and just giving us the silent treatment....can we now assume that the next exploit people can do it without worrying?

I think that's the message which is now accepted by the community. They have had enough of being on the right side of things only to be ignored like this.
This is not an issue we have any intention of actioning on.
After analyzing the reaches of this bug the game team has concluded that the impact is not large enough to warrant any further action.
We've talked in the forums before about how a "why not me" mentality is not ever going to be a strong enough case for action.
Additionally, I've seen the calls for "consistency" when dealing with these things, and to be honest, there isn't a way to establish 100% consistency. We've chatted before about how we will approach issues like this on a case by case basis. We need the ability to analyze every situation to decide the impact on the contest and cannot back ourselves into a corner by trying to establish a set like this. If we lay out "100% ground rules" for Summoners, many will dive in when they think they have an opportunity to exploit a bug without repercussions. You absolutely need to accept the inherent risk associated with these behaviours if you wish to carry this mentality towards the Contest.
This is a closed case and we will not be commenting on it any further.
I hope this provides closure for those of you that needed it.

Understood. Sometimes things get lost in translation. No problems here and like I said—you are spot on with the comment re: enforcement of rules.
