New Carrina's challenges thoughts?

At a first glance, what's your views on the Challenges, Legacy I believe has smashed it out of the park, karate mikes, hmmmmmm bit of unit fest and slog not really player friendly, not going to be enjoyable, more of a chore.. Fintecs, I'll be skipping completely as it's not doable without a big spend and an absolute unit suck and will be completely unenjoyable, which is a shame I had really high hopes from a content creator I follow.. Note, I'm a paragon, with a decent roster, hasn't finished under quantum in bgs etc.. but that's just my view, I want to see some more..

I do echo your thoughts. The only one that may be borderline doable without significant spend seems like the start spidey one.

Ive got to theory craft really hard before I pass judgement. Lags and Karate already seem passable. The EOP one… as I said Ive been staring at it and I see some potential problems. If the roadblocks are as bad as Im thinking then, without large unit reserves, this will be the first example of content which seems to not be able to exist in a game without a revive farm. For a company which seemed to boast about Necro engagement they seem to brush the very obvious point that access to revives padded that figure generously…

Absolute cash grab, and that is why the rewards are that good at first level though obviously it isn't enough compared to the amount of resources required to complete these challenges. What else could u expect after the cap commisary and winter of woe as the most recent events launched by Kabam?

Lagacy’s look fun and relatively cheap, karatemike’s look expensive ish, and fintech’s are just mean and on par with the 4* starlord LoL one

Lagacy's is the most user-friendly. I peeked into KarateMike's stream and saw he has all the Avengers already r5 and probably sig 200. Even most end-game players don't have the resources for all that, nor would even have any desire to r5 those champs.

Fintech's challenge is probably plausible...but for someone like me, I never got into Tigra so she's still unawakened at 6r1. Mojo the same and I don't have him as a 7* either.

These kind of challenges are not the kind of challenges I enjoy. HUGE amount of resources needed for Karate Mike’s and Fintech’s. And with finishing necro, winter of woe, and 8.4 coming, I won’t have the resources available to do this until the rewards are outdated and not worth it. However, these challenges are not for me. These are for the 1% end game players who have beat everything and want to do something stupid for fun. Haha

Lags looks to be the most doable ones, especially with ascension.

Love lags challenge. Reasonable with his fav character

KM’s is hard at a glance, but well designed. I’m not sure about the Zemo one tho

Fintech’s challenge looks awful. Doesn’t look like any fun whatsoever and I’m not looking forward to doing grief incarnate with 2 champs that aren’t really built for it

They don't seem too bad. Difficult for sure, but nothing insane. The Fintech challenges look the most difficult for sure.

And happy too see the champs needed are good champs and actually useful after the challenges.

Edit: Loved that they gave out a 5* Starky. Nice addition.

You understand the only way to get to Nick Fury and dragon man is to do the whole gauntlet and 1/2 the EOP quest. That’s a huge spend.

Like I said, the only fair and fun one (it is a game after all, so fun should be the priority) is lagacy's.. he hasn't sold us out, besides Seaton, always has been my favourite creator.. lol

It doesn't say you can't use a choice node, so you could Juggs or CGR the first 4 fights and then switch him out for a lesser rarity Mojo or JP/Tigra depending on which challenge you're doing. It will still be the hardest of the challenges though.

Yeah nevermind. Need to take my own advice and read fully before posting.

I’m also really confused as to why Kabam removed the revive farm then immediately started pushing out ridiculously difficult and expensive garbage content. Like I know they’re a business but come on, they’re 2 for 2 on post-revive farm content being a total mess for a large portion of the community

Why is all new content being released just insanely difficult and borderline unit dumps for the average paragon+? What a sad way to begin 2024 coupled with the loss of revive farming after the successful release of Necropolis.

Just don't attempt the content, this is the first time ever this year, I've been skipping things, ie winter of woe, just flew through with qs, after a few failed attempts with she hulk, I thought about it, realised it's just designed really really bad, and decided I'm done with it . Not paying to win.. I've done necro, and abyss and all the gauntlet and eop etc, but this is blatantly becoming UNFUN, not what a game should be.. not attempting the content will just show up on their data.. I'm still getting resources I need and doing well in bgs so I'm not missing out

You know what's really awful?

The old Carinas -- they were optional. If you were a tryhard or whale and wanted to get a leg up, great.

This? There's a deathless piece locked behind it. Or spend 5k units. That's where this is all going. Don't even think about how to get Deathless Thanos.
