Wow, slightly off topic @Greekhit , but what are your masteries? My titania is 7r2 and only 23,000 PI.
My questing masteries set up are only attack and proficiencies focused. No suicides, not a single point in defence masteries. All in at attack masteries. High PI is due to boosts active. I’m sure that if u have suicides active and are willing to retry, the runs could be much cheaper than seven revives. But I had revives expiring today and additionally was bored to restart 😂
Just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for keeping things civil. While there are clearly disagreements going on, everybody is being respectful and I really appreciate that.
I'm just posting to say, as I have said before, we do read the forums and we do take community feedback seriously. Decay was a good tactic for this content to start with as it is one of the easier ones to deal with. We are definitely keeping an eye on things as obviously the next few Showcases will feature tactics that are more challenging.
Personally, I do not play T1 War and I enjoyed every fight in this quest aside from Sasquatch. It don't agree that he was as hard as Absorbing Man Robots, but he is a legitimate challenge that is probably on par with some of the WoW fights. The strategy I ended up going with after restarting a few times was taking him down to ~30% normally and then just powering through the damage reduction with a 6R5 (not ascended) Photon without knocking him down. Don't forget to use your S2099 Relic to turn dex off. I tried to make Caltrops Kate work but I'm not skilled enough to make it happen.
At any rate, I'm excited for Summoners to get their hands on Deathless King Groot next month. I know this is hard but I definitely think it will be worth it. Later this week Summoners will also learn something else important about the Deathless champions that I think substantially increases their value.

I just finished the right side and had a lot of fun with most of it. I don’t have a relevant rarity Photon, so I used Hulk w/ Silver Surfer synergy and did basically the same thing you did. Just power through that last forty percent without knockdowns to avoid him regenerating.
I used sig 40 7* r2 Angela for that Red Skull and got the solo, it was a lot of fun. Long fight, had to slow roll it to make sure I didn’t get wrecked, but she handled it without issue.
Hulk for the rest of the tactic fights, Hulkling for Venom and Future Man. Swapped in Zemo for Photon and remembered that I’m bad at fighting Photon. Will need to come up with a better idea for my next run, because that was just a revive slog. Otherwise, good stuff. It was fun bringing champs to bear that I didn’t have when the season was live.
Having not managed to make it past Kindred yet (my fault, I avoid fighting him like the plague so not really sure what to do about him) I'm less concerned with the level of difficulty, then I am with the combination of the level of difficulty coupled with only having 2 weeks to do it.

Kindred is super easy with a decay champion. Can just heavy bait him because you take no degen and hazard shift is just free willpower healing.
I’m curious if anybody has done either path without any items. Both paths I got to Photon in good shape but she is a massive pain. Maybe boosted and max rank there’s a champ that could actually get her down.
I think the path fights are actually decently designed, but they really missed the mark with the boss. Maybe once the bug with switching her to light form is fixed it’ll be a better fight.
Ok, R5 ascended herc with capiw synergy for armour break and R3 sig 40 titania, plus R5 ascended kingpin swap in, did the right side in 14 revives. Which is below the item use cap for spamming 1 loyalty revives in war. No boosts.
Not pretty and could have done it for a lot less, but wanted to plough through.
Learning? Take the fantman fight much more slowly and it could be a solo; used 4 here. Sassy too, used 3 there, trying to rush it and could solo just playing slower.
3 on red skull and not sure I could have done better. 2 on Mysterio as I decided to "herc it" at that point and two on photon (silly second try with kingpin; I don't know how to fight her).
So could have done it in 6 or 7.
Going to plan the left side a bit better and will boost next time....
@Moosetiptronic sorry to be a little slow today, but who specifically did you use for each fight? Definitely looking for the scrub level guide.
I'll make one tonight for you oakenshield. It should be up by tomorrow night, but pester me if it's not. #ScrubsUnite

By no means this content reflects the name of content aka aw showcase. It's more of aw gauntlet or boss rush. With fully loaded masteries for defenders which normally players can't have in aw seasons. . This felt like a lvl litle above t1 wars if not par with it. Not sure how you guys name it showcase & not gauntlet/ boss rush.. coz each fight seems like a boss of their own than path fights would hv looked like.

Difficulty Glad to hear you enjoy this content, the honestly true is I like a lot of Kabam recently content concept, Necropolis, WoW, CCP Challenges, Women's Day and even this AW solo (and actually would love to have this as a permanent content). These concepts I really like, for me (and I would dare to say for a number of players), the problem lie in the difficulty and the balance with rewards. I can only imagine for a great player like yourself (and KT1 or KarateMike, I saw briefly their streams), content like these with a range of difficulty between Nebula WoW, CCP Carina, this or AM WoW, is not really a big different, maybe just a revive or 2 mores. Take an ascended 6* or a 7R2/R3 combine it with your skill and job done (and there is nothing wrong with that), as we all seen how MSD does these challenges with 3* lol, but for players less than that, only having a maybe 6R4 or 7R1 unawaken, the difficulty increased 10x (or even more), due to the struggle of ramping up a champ and a slight mistake and instant KOs, for example Sasquatch fight, most that have Photon ranked up, can do relatively well against him with maybe a few revives, while because I don't have that as an options, I had to power through with Silk, only taking maybe an average of 10% (and sometime he even regen back more that the start of the fight), that quickly becoming a burning revives and/or units to get through.
The TDLR for that is - A slight difficulty increase have a massive and wide range affect between Top Tier players and those below. A 2% Increase in difficulty might not be felt by top tier players, but could increase 10x (a generic example, generally mean a lot more) for players below.
Rewards Having difficulty content is not something new, Master AW rewards are amazing, but I know I'm not good enough to play at Tier 1 and it is perfectly fine and right that I don't get those rewards.
However these solo content rewards seem unbalanced compare to the difficulty (imo), for example this AW Solo content, which have 2 parts, the total rewards is essentially 7000 x 7* Shards and the Deathless King Groot piece.
1) 7000 x 7* Shards - This seem low for the difficulty (again as mentioned above, Tier 1 players like yourself might not felt it), especially compare to completing the monthly Event stuffs, it usually get you very close, with the difficulty being much less, even a Valiant Daily crystal could give almost as much 7* Shards. So again seem unbalance between difficulty and rewards.
2) Deathless King Groot, now of course this is the main bit, now I noticed Kabam general respond to underwhelm rewards is so players are free to skip it. However when a DL pieces is included, it indirectly does twist a lot of players arms (and unlike the CCP Carina), this one is through Exploration. Now again I don't know how Tier 1 AW players out these, but are we looking at DL champs now as being that excusive, I perfectly happy and content that I won't have a 7* SWOG, but for these DL champs to be that excusive seem a bit much.
I think at least give the DL King Groot piece for completion would of been better.
Another good example is the CCP challenges, for me I felt that the DL piece locked behind the Lagacy challenge was great, as it only require a 5* rank up which is very access for a lot of players, KarateMike difficulty was fine (only down side was force to rank up champs that have little use outside of that content), and personally I think that if the reward for complete those 4 CCP challenges was 1 x 7* Selector for one of the 3 champs. For completing Fintech challenges, players could get the 2nd Selector and an unique profile, then it would of been perfectly balance and still keeping the exactly same level of difficulty.
If the rewards are great, players to go through hell to get it, which is what I did with Necropolis and WoW (even Robot challenges)
TLDR - Rewards and Difficult is out of balance (before @Kabam Miike jump in and say we want to make it hard and for less rewards lol), I like to make it clear that the rewards is NOT enough compare to the difficulty lol
Players Base
Yep, I would happy to consider myself as a commoner player, my skills level is definitely not in the top tier player, I usually can get in BG GC most season, no problem with doing Map 7 (haven't tried map 8), and have solo a few WoW, have completed all objectives so far and sitting on 13 points, with an average account size, but I'm a very careful and committed players, always try to planning in advance, log in everyday, do my area, do my apothecary, do my 22hrs event like a good boy lol.
I do balance my focus between temporary contents and permanent content, and usually save some ranking material before WoW come out, see if I have rank up anyone, get it done, then within the 2 weeks I try to tackle on of the CCP Carina by save, grind and rank up champs. Those were the time I did the Avenger and Zemo , I tried to do the Zemo and Mojo challenges during the Saga/Magica event for their extra boost.
It was the same with this week, was waiting to get Dani WoW done and jump into doing Mojo challenge after. I knew that we going to get this AW Solo event, but didn't expect it to be another Top End Tier 1 AW type of content, I believe even yourself mentioned that you have give feed back on the Def Ranking and Sig level, so based on that even yourself believe it is slight overtuned.
So overall, I would imagine averaged out my skill (or lack off lol), account size and dedication to the game, there would be a decent amount of players like myself, maybe bigger account, better skill and/or less dedicated, but average out, it would quite a few in a similar boat.
Feedback Data is great, it could tell Kabam how many players try or completed, how many items were use, but would it give Kabam all the extra information and nuance, like how players feel doing the content, does it encourage participation or does it make players want to quits.
I know @Kabam Crashed said Kabam do listen to feedback on the forum, which I truly believe what Kabam Crashed say, but listen without some kind of action to follow, still left players fell unheard, and unlike CCP all us commoner players have is this forum to express our feedback on a game that we love.
So far since November we have, Necropolis, WoW every 2 weeks, CCP Carina, AW Solo, Magica AW Tactic, 6 to 7 extremely OP (and some unfair) Defender. Here is an example of how a players like myself is struggle with, with the 2 Magica rank up gems 3-4 and 4-5 (which is much appreciated, thank you Kabam), I was looking forward to ranking Hood up to R4 as I enjoy using him and Iceman because I need a counter to Bullseyes (need to all I can to get some win in BG). However I end up using the 3-4 game on Mojo, since I don't have a 7*, and hoping to get it done will Sage/Magica boost thing still on (although I'm still not sure if the boost work in EoP), and now instead of Iceman I think I have to use it on Kate to get the 2nd half of this AW Solo, don't have Photon and Titania as an options.
Players like me are getting pull in all direction, and many are asking "where is the fun", whatever Kabam plan and idea are, please remember this is a mobile game, it is a form an entertainments, something people pick up and try to have some fun after a long day of real life (and life is pretty hard right now). It is not a form a blood sport like some players try to make BG VT out to be lol.
I do think the direction and some of the concept Kabam is trying out is great, but hard to enjoy and appreciated because of the balance in difficulty and rewards, and Kabam expectation on players, there is only so much we can give before there is nothing left.
Anyway if anyone got to here, what are you doing wasting your time reading my post, we got Arena and BG to grind lol, but thank you and hope everyone (agree or disagree with me) a great day.
At any rate, I'm excited for Summoners to get their hands on Deathless King Groot next month. I know this is hard but I definitely think it will be worth it. Later this week Summoners will also learn something else important about the Deathless champions that I think substantially increases their value.
Honestly, it’s this right here that has left me zero regrets with abandoning the deathless stuff. I don’t have an account, 1% top skill, or a plethora of resources to match every challenge on the hope of what Kabam thinks “substantially increases their value.”
You want an account like mine to go all in? You should have put all the cards on the table day 1. Then let me decide if every resource I own should be put into the chase. Instead, the carrot at the end of the stick 100 feet away that you months later bring in to 90 feet just makes me bitter.
It doesn’t matter to accounts that are big enough to not have to rank one champ for WoW or showcase. To me- being a mid account - kabam basically forces my rank ups out for a year to chase deathless. That’s not fun…. But I might have considered it if I knew the end details you are withholding. But all for the potential carrot way out there you tease us with?
After doing this challenge, I hope to not do more of it again. It was less resource intensive than other hard content out there and certainly more doable but Alliance War is a quest done by 10 players. Most of these fights were not done by the same player in a single War session but shared amongst the 10 players. This means better skill-matching and much more diverse options to tackle than 4 champions.
Ok having read much of the suggestions on the thread and looking at my roster, here is what I am thinking:
Left path: R5 Ascended max sig Hulkling - Venom, Zemo, Mysterio R2 sig 80 Titania - Kindred, Longshot, Bishop R4 sig 60 Kushala - Gorr R5 Ascended max sig Herc - as needed on Bishop, Zemo, Mysterio, Photon fights Swap Kushala for R2 Black Cat for Photon
Right path: R5 Ascended max sig Hulkling - Venom, Fantman, Mysterio R2 Sig 80 Titania - Kindred, Sassy, Doggo R2 unawakened Photon - Backup on Kindred, Sassy, Doggo (and for Photon) R5 Ascended max sig Herc - Red Skull, Photon Swap Titania for R2 Black Cat for Photon
What do you all think? Sound about right?
Ok I’ve revised my thinking a bit based on some additional research. Biggest change is using Mantis for Photon instead of Black Cat, but also some adjustments around fights:
Left path: R5 Ascended max sig Hulkling - Venom, Zemo R2 sig 80 Titania - Kindred, Longshot, Bishop, Mysterio R4 sig 60 Kushala - Gorr R5 Ascended max sig Herc - as needed for backup on Bishop, Zemo, Mysterio, Photon fights Swap Kushala for R2 Mantis for Photon
Right path: R5 Ascended max sig Hulkling - Venom, Fantman, Mysterio R2 Sig 80 Titania - Kindred, Sassy, Doggo, Mysterio R2 unawakened Photon - Backup on Kindred, Sassy, Doggo, Mysterio (and for Photon) R5 Ascended max sig Herc - Red Skull, Mysterio and Photon backup Swap Titania for R2 Mantis for Photon
Probably my biggest question is relative advantages of Photon vs. Titania. I was originally thinking Titania as my lead for the left path, and both of them for the right given how annoying Sassy is. Now I’m wondering if Photon should be my lead option given that her debuffs last a little longer and given her untouchable as a bit of a safety margin.
Thoughts on R2 unawakened Photon vs. R2 sig 80 Titania?
Hear hear, I literally used longshot, 5* wiccan, rintrah and even ladyD to kill that stupid Gorr but noooo he always started to heal up, stupid sp1 spam, protection.
Then what? I friking used Hercules and one shotted him, it's hilarious man 🤣
At any rate, I'm excited for Summoners to get their hands on Deathless King Groot next month. I know this is hard but I definitely think it will be worth it. Nah… you can keep it.
This is how I felt when I read that comment also. I like the chase concept and it could have been a really fun thing but the execution is a miss for me. Maybe that’s by design but I’m just not interested in it the way it’s been rolled out.
If you want it to be top-tier, difficult, end-game content then make all pieces permanently achievable and everyone can get there when they get there. Making it top tier difficulty and limited time just kills it for me. I’m not in a place where I can commit to that right now so I’m just out of luck forever unless I want to dump a bucket of units into it. Finding out partway through when I’m already behind that the prize is even more valuable than initially announced is even worse.
It also seems like it’s unnecessarily exclusionary to newer players. Plenty of folks will get paragon/Valiant later this year and they’ll be so far behind that unless the cost drops, they’ll have to spend thousands of units to catch up to get these champs that will now be “even more valuable” after another announcement.
TLDR : making it top-tier difficulty and limited time kills the interest for some of us. Maybe that was intended, but this could have been a bigger thing with more involvement with some tweaks.
Venom; herc, heavy to armour break, then normal herc fight. This venom is very aggressive, except when at high level 1 power, then he holds it forever...
Kindred; titania. Her debuffs stop hazard shift, so just don't stun him. Save a special for when he is at low life.
Fantman; herc. Wait out his first armour, then heavy to armour break, then play really slow. Keep heavy-ing, to keep up the armour breaks. You may die...
Red skull; herc, heavies again and intercepts, I died here, so just herc'd it for the revives.
Sasquatch; titania. The trick here is keeping up the debuffs to keep her furies high, so you do enough damage as he goes debuff immune and with a point or two in despair, it keeps his healing under control. I threw an sp3 after knocking him down, at around 30% life and it pretty much killed him (took him to 4%)
Werewolf; titania. Just a normal fight, he dies quickly and the debuffs stop hazard shift again.
Mysterio; herc! I just 20% revived him. Should have used titania in retrospect.
Swapped in KP for hulk.
Photon; KP, then herc. Ko, bait heavy, combo, intercept, combo, sp1. Take her sp1 to the face, intercept, combo, intercept combo, sp1. Do that as much as you can, them die.... Then herc, again, bait the first heavy, combo, intercept, infuriate, intercept, intercept, take an sp1 to the face, intercept, sp2, take an sp1 to the face, combo untill death, 20% revive and do it again.
Could have swapped hulk for someone else, to make the red skull or Mysterio fights easier.
Path 2, I'm planning to take herc and titania again and may take diablo and KP, or hood and KP. Herc, in case I just want to face roll any fight, and then either diablo or hood depending on who I think will be harder, zemo or gorr.... Hoping for under 15 revives again!
R1 7* titania Mr fantastic r1 6* She hulk r1 6* R5 kate
Venom - Titania solo Kindred - Titania solo Longshot - Titania solo Bishop - Titania solo Gorr - Kate bishop solo (x2 coldsnaps) Zemo - Titania 3 revives cause I was bad Mysterio - Titania 1 or 2 revives just push him to sp2 Photon - Zemo/Titania about 6 ish or 7 revives (I dont know how to fight her).

That's where you went wrong.
In that case I'll just say that Red Skull has power drain with a side of damage.
In other words, the damage isn't tied to power drain.

I used Titania for ALL path fights and then Elsa for boss. No boosts, and while I did make a few mistakes, all fights are solo'able with her.

Feedback
Data is great, it could tell Kabam how many players try or completed, how many items were use, but would it give Kabam all the extra information and nuance, like how players feel doing the content, does it encourage participation or does it make players want to quits.
Nah… you can keep it.
Left path: R5 Ascended max sig Hulkling - Venom, Zemo
R2 sig 80 Titania - Kindred, Longshot, Bishop, Mysterio
R4 sig 60 Kushala - Gorr
R5 Ascended max sig Herc - as needed for backup on Bishop, Zemo, Mysterio, Photon fights
Swap Kushala for R2 Mantis for Photon
Right path: R5 Ascended max sig Hulkling - Venom, Fantman, Mysterio
R2 Sig 80 Titania - Kindred, Sassy, Doggo, Mysterio
R2 unawakened Photon - Backup on Kindred, Sassy, Doggo, Mysterio (and for Photon)
R5 Ascended max sig Herc - Red Skull, Mysterio and Photon backup
Swap Titania for R2 Mantis for Photon
Probably my biggest question is relative advantages of Photon vs. Titania. I was originally thinking Titania as my lead for the left path, and both of them for the right given how annoying Sassy is. Now I’m wondering if Photon should be my lead option given that her debuffs last a little longer and given her untouchable as a bit of a safety margin.
Thoughts on R2 unawakened Photon vs. R2 sig 80 Titania?
Then what? I friking used Hercules and one shotted him, it's hilarious man 🤣
This is how I felt when I read that comment also.
So I used titania, hulk, capiw and herc.
R1 7* titania
Mr fantastic r1 6*
She hulk r1 6*
R5 kate
Venom - Titania solo
Kindred - Titania solo
Longshot - Titania solo
Bishop - Titania solo
Gorr - Kate bishop solo (x2 coldsnaps)
Zemo - Titania 3 revives cause I was bad
Mysterio - Titania 1 or 2 revives just push him to sp2
Photon - Zemo/Titania about 6 ish or 7 revives (I dont know how to fight her).
Any recommendation for right side?
