Gladiator's Circuit is going to be very important for Relic acquisition. Those just aren't ready for distribution yet.

We are playing this game today, not for future prospects. Don't you think that if you cannot add something today you have to replace it with something similar value? How this supposedly solves anything, that in the future you are planning to add something? what about season 1 that starts today? Why you made it completely irrelevant if someone is top 10 or top 100 players in this mode?

Exactly. That the rank rewards aren't the best is a massive disappointment. You basically destroyed the competition of the mode you created before it even started.

In addition they created massive incentive to tank with energy and beat up smaller accounts with elders marks. So its about as bad as before for many and worsefor people with smaller accounts

There should be zero reason I need to tank my rating period.

Remove that incentive to tank and you fix a lot of the issues to start with at least with this reward structure. You cannot hope to foster a competitive mode with that aspect in the game. This mode is the opposite of arena. I dont understand how thats not clear. Winning at all costs should be the goal here.

Looking at the costs for elder marks it's basically whoever has the biggest wallet wins.

This isn't even an issue about all the rewards going to the person who spends the most. Even if you are undefeated in every match, you still need to spend a minimum of 685 Units on Elder's Mark to complete the Solo Event Milestone and even that is taking into consideration that there are Whales carrying you in the Alliance Event to get you extra Elder's Marks. The reality is you'll need to spend basically an extra 15 Units for every loss you have. As a FTP, I can barely even earn any rewards off of this game mode in it's current state without massive Unit expense. I basically can only do the Victory Track and maybe the first few Milestones of the Solo and Alliance Events. A massive percentage of the rewards are tied behind the use of Elder's Marks. Playing with Energy is a complete waste once you feel like you've plateaued.

I just finished a match and won 2 of the 3 fights. However, I do not see any update to my solo event or alliance progression. Broken?

No, you might have not whaled out or used ur precious units to buy that "ridiculous" Elder's marks to win and used your normal energy. If no and you used "ridiculous" Elder's marks, then yeah, its a bug.

I find this event to be absolutely offensive. Unless I'm missing something, the only way to get any solo event rewards is to enter matches with Elder's Marks...that can only be purchased with units. Max rewards on the solo event requires winning 240 matches at a cost of 3100 units. Assuming you don't lose any matches, that means playing more than 9 matches per day for the extent of the event. I don't have time for that and wouldn't dare spend hard-earned units on that. Even gaining the trophy tokens necessary to get most of the things in the Battlegrounds story only comes from participating in the Alliance Event...which costs Elder's Mark match wins to do...which means units spent. This is a solo pay-for-play event. There aren't rewards rich enough to make this racket worthwhile. Kabam should be ashamed of doing this to their incredibly loyal playing community.

So if you kept a 50% win loss ratio. The Max amount of points in the solo event is 156750 without buying any elder marks. Like seriously kabam. That's not even enough to get to the top milestone. This whole reward structure should be completely removed and a new one should be made in its place. This is honestly embarrassing. But hey if you spend 100$ worth of units you get more then double the amount of elders marks you can earn. Shameful.

Maybe try reading the first page of this thread as you're a bit off on where you get elders marks and trophy tokens.

What's awesome about them doing all this is that we will not get a response as to why, nor will they intend to address it.

As a community what best we can do is to just not play the mode an maybe they will wake up and fix it. Or not an we just continue doing what weve been doing.

I play everything in the game, I 100% everything. I played every BGs beta, got every milestone and reward, top1000 in last Beta.
But I honestly think I'll ignore this mode now. Seems so pointless, so much grinding, lots of wasted time till you get to actual rewards. Or pay to get there.

Kabam announcement - Big new feature: multiple decks. Wow, amazing, can't wait. Oh, by the way, it will cost 4k units to unlock. WTF is that????

- You play arena to farm units;
- You play BG to spend the units;

- You can't play BG because you need time to play the arena to farm the units;
- You can't play the arena because you need time to spend units on BG;

- You don't have time for AQ/AW so you leave the alliance;
- You need to be on an alliance to contribute points towards the alliance event.

What an awful mode. It is fully understandable that Kabam wants and deserves (kind of at least) money. But this is nuts.
Sad to see, that there will be still enough players who spent their hard earned money for this mode, but they will continue.
I love this game. I play it many hours a day for about 7.5 years now, but this?
All competitive modes get worse and worse.
It would be so easy to find the best players.
Give all players the same pool of champs (out of all champs)
All 6*R3 Sig120.
No energy, no units and maxed to 30 battles a day. So this is how you make a real battle and the best will be on top at the end. The way it is the only reward should be a title: "cash cow of the battlerealm".


No we all have to wait for the AW-rewards update and it will be **** for sure.
