Every tier in the GC after Diamond seems to follow the same pattern:
Win 4 matches, then on the fifth lose, then possibly lose again, then go back up again to 4 tokens, then lose again.
How is that exactly 100% of the time on the 5th token of vibranium we are put up against a ultra whale? This was not the case last season.
This pattern was what I dealt with all of diamond and vibranium and honestly dumps on the game mode.
Not to mention the countless input issues..

Just a suggestion. If I get one away, I just use Shields. Depending on what I have for Units, I may have to Grind in between Matches, but it's a hell of a lot less stressful than up-down-up-down-left-right-left-right....
3-4 wins then lose back, its not fun at all
@kabam in my opinion, i think requiring 3 wins on each lvl and 5 win for entering GC should be the enjoyable way for lot of us
Hopefully next season won't be this bad once the seeding system is implemented, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that even Paragons with r4s and r3s can't make it to Uru 3 now because of the extra tiers and how fast the game is moving, I would've already been in Uru 3 if it wasn't for the extra tiers and the mega whales who for some weird reason are still stuck in Vibranium when they should've already been in Gamma with accounts that big.
On the bright side, VT and GC is something kabam keeps an eye on, and if not enough people are getting to GC, then they might make changes to it.
That’s the death spiral consequences even for good players.
Don’t get me wrong I’m at 70% win ratio and currently at Vibranium 3 by doing only the daily objectives, not a single match more.
Because the idea of grinding VT to reach GC, doesn’t look good with so many 5 token tiers even with a 70% win ratio.
I can’t even imagine how frustrating should be for those that are around 50%, let alone anyone below that.
No GC shouldn’t be for everyone, but it shouldn’t be for a small elite also as it is with the current VT setup, because BGs are sentenced to die sooner or later due to participation drop.
I don’t know if I enter GC this season, it will be a matter of luck anyway as far as I won’t push hard grinding.
Since I’ll do only my objectives matches, if I’m lucky on my drafts and win most matches then I’ll enter GC.
Anyway these few additional GC rewards won’t be account changing 🙂
As far as your apparent implication that Kabam is rigging the matches to keep you from advancing, you need to ask yourself: why would they care? Why would they bother? IMO they could not care less if you are in Diamond or Gold or whatever.
I'm in Quantum III with just 112 points.
I did have to grind like a madman to get through vibranium.
Surprisingly, my matchups in vibranium were borderline unfair while I'm matching people roughly at a similar level in the GC
