Let's look at it logically. 1. Act 7 - Postponed to reevaluate their direction. 2. AW - Making improvements to it based on feedback, including changes to meet the failed goals of Defense Tactics. 3. AQ - Changes coming. While the details of Tickets are still being discussed because they're problematic for some, improvements are improvements. 4. Pushing Variant ahead. Can't count how many people have said they want Act 7 to be like Variant because that is enjoyable content. So you're getting it sooner. 5. Increased Rewards for Act 6 and Abyss. 6. Looking at making changes to Act 6 7. Long-term discussions about RNG issues. 8. Cavalier is in production.
I'd like to know what part of that is doing nothing.

@GroundedWisdom I’m sure I’m gonna get so much hate for this but I agree with you. They have said they’re making changes now it’s not everything we want but it’s a start.
Yes we need new SA, new solo events, new calendars (or better). But they at least did address some major pain points in the short term (that’s why it’s called short term) it’s a start. Hopefully as the short term passes the longer term also gets addressed. For them to own up and say “you’re right community act 6 IS trash and flow is garbage” is a good step in the right direction.
Now hopefully they see all the concerns that I’ve seen in this 70 page thread and they continue to right their wrongs. We can only wait and see.

Good summary.
Also, I'm happy Kabam has been taking steps to fight against treasury dumping/arena bots/fraud/cheating.
I'm hopeful and still supportive of Kabam (but I totally get the doubts that some people have, since I have a little of that myself). I haven't been around as long, so that could also be a factor.
Hopefully the long-term discussions about RNG issues (and things mentioned in this thread) result in things that help the majority of the playerbase feel like their roster is progressing, have things to build towards and unlock, better vibes and relationship towards Kabam, and have an improving expectation towards RNG (as opposed to the current decreasing of favorable RNG in crystals).
Although it'll be more work for Kabam to update and balance things faster (than their precedence), it would satisfy more of, maintain, and potentially grow the community.
Here are the quality of life improvements that I would like to see:
A significantly improved sorting system for in-game resources. The current scroll-through-everything in an unordered fashion is inelegant and cumbersome. If the store can be separated into different tabs, there's no reason that potions, awakening gems & signature stones, hero crystals, catalyst crystals, and so on could not be sorted better. Heck, even the items inventory doesn't have all the potions in the same area.
Speaking of potions, they still need to be updated. I haven't used a Level 1 potion in years, except to burn it out of my inventory. The best potions you can get outside of Alliance Quest/War/Incursions heal 10,000 health, which is pretty fantastic, but you can't reliably get them anywhere except for the Store. Level 2 potions still only heal 750 Health, and you can still find them for pickup in monthly event quests, even at the epic level. What's epic about 750 health when your best Champions have upwards of 30,000 health? Either update the potions to be valuable to Cavalier players, or make higher-level potions more accessible through game play. If you're counting on in-game potions to make money for your game, I suspect that you're relying upon a very limited revenue stream. It's far more economical to purchase revives or energy refills.
Also, speaking of Champion crystals... What's exciting about purchasing (or acquiring) a Cavalier crystal and pulling 3-star after 3-star Champion? I understand that RNG is a huge complaint about this game, but I can pull a 3-star out of a "Premium" (though there's nothing superior about "premium" in this game) Hero Crystal, a 3-Star Hero Crystal, a Grandmaster Hero Crystal, and a Cavalier Hero Crystal, all of which I can acquire monthly. The only crystal that a "Premium" Hero Crystal is superior to is a 2-star Hero Crystal, and yet, this is the base economic block upon which your Champion roster is built. They really should be called "Standard" Hero Crystals, especially since you have a 77% chance to get a 2-star Champion out of it anyway. Grandmaster Crystals have an 82% chance of pulling a 3-star, and Cavaliers give you a 50% chance to pull a 3-star Champion. There's no content in the game that's geared toward 3-star Champions. At least this month's quest gives you good reason to dust off your 2-star Champions. If regular content that required players to use their 3-star Champions was available in game with decent enough rewards (similar in fashion to this month's Intel economy) to warrant their use, we'd be excited to pull a 3-star Spider-Man (Stealth Suit) from a crystal. Even Cavalier crystals dropping a 3-star wouldn't elicit complete groans of despair.
Gold is still the most sparsely awarded resource in the game compared to what you need to use it for, unless you're grinding the arena. The amount of gold that is gained through questing has not changed since Act 4. While I fully acknowledge that moving in quests in not the primary means of acquiring gold for ranking up Champions, there's simply not enough of it available in the game and it acts as a gateway toward using the other resources one can acquire to increase the power of one's Champions. Gold Rush events don't grant enough, and they're not commonly available. You can get a half a million basically for free each month if you're Cavalier and you have a Summoner's Sigil, but even that's not enough. It takes over two and a half million gold to take a brand new 5-star Champion to 5/65 (using class ISO). This has been a consistent complaint about this game for years. The fact that it hasn't been adequately addressed yet is a massive mark against the development of this game.
@Bodhizen thats my point I can’t understand, if someone has been jailed for a thread interaction and is only here to “be right” why are they still allowed to post over and over? I have GW muted and some pages on this thread it’s just boxes of multiple comments from him for the majority of the page. Why are others jailed and can’t post a bunch, or banned altogether, for doing much less? Where’s the consistency?
It shouldn’t be up to all the other players to force the moderators to take control of this thread, we shouldn’t have to. It’s their job. When someone is being unproductive and off topic and clearly baiting people and making the SAME POINT over and over, they should step in. Why does one player who barely plays the game get a pass?
Can anyone explain the logic here? This has been going on for years and we’re doing the exact same thing yet again.
I'll just say this. Even though Grounded and I have some opposing opinions, he/she has never been disrespectful to myself or others (to the extent of my knowledge). Other players who are jailed or banned may be in that position because they've called people names or insulted them in some way.

They're trying to make the Thread about me while accusing me of derailing it at the same time. My point was valid. I've outlined the issues they've heard and addressed, and someone can be blasé about all of them if they wish. It stands to reason that those people will find very little they're satisfied with. This entire Thread is about feedback on the game. I find it unproductive and disingenuous to say they're not doing anything and not listening when they've acknowledged the feedback and have created a tentative outline on how they're processing it. It's exactly the same thing that happened during 12.0. Conversation was being had, communication was open, and some people refused to acknowledge it because they were still in the protesting mentality. The problem is, if you're asking for feedback to be heard, and it's already being heard, then you're degrading the process.

Ok in the interest of fairness to you, is there something you can point out that you agree with on this thread? There’s hundreds of comments of feedback here so far, is there any of it you think is warranted? I’m genuinely interested.

It's not my place to say if something is warranted or not. I've offered a few suggestions and agreed with a couple of issues. Brought up the only one that's come to mind for myself. I'm concerned for the productivity is all. We have their ears. I think it's better not to negate the process while we have their attention is all. People on YouTube can feel free to rabble rouse if they like, but we're better off sharing our concerns in a way that's not cutting off our own foot.

In fairness to those who have posted here and elsewhere, I think saying it’s “YouTube rabble rousing” is kind of unfair to both the you tubers and those who have given detailed breakdowns of their points on here. Yes you have those just being silly and asking for free stuff, but the majority of people on this thread have come in with very eloquent and comprehensive issues.
And again, it wasn’t just one guy on YouTube who had an issue and suddenly everyone jumped on the bandwagon. These issues have been building to this point for a while, and he’s hardly the first one to bring them up. I follow quite a lot of content creators who do YouTube, podcasts, etc and many of them have been talking about a lot of this for the better part of a year or longer.
I know they have been talking to kabam about them as well, as they have confirmed this on their content. Whatever your personal feelings are about Seatin, I think it’s a bit disrespectful to keep making swipes at him in this thread and it’s disingenuous to say that he’s the only one or even the first one to say something about the state of the game. This just opened the lid on things, and I’m glad all the people have shared their feelings so far on how they can make it better. This is a general game feedback thread, usually people don’t comment this much if they are satisfied with things in a game.
Another small QOL change I would like to see is the option to skip the SP3 animation as it is quite annoying when playing as champions who use lots of SP3 e.g. Hyperion + VTD.
Also the actual feedback seems to be getting lost in a sea of a certain users comments (and then other users responses to him) so perhaps stop responding to him?
I've made my point. Moving on. One thing that has proven to be successful is Community Choice situations. We've seen it with Champs gifted, and buffs, and they seem to be interactive and fun. I think incorporating more of that would be good. Obviously we can't really vote on every decision that comes, but something on a regular basis would be an interesting way for us to stay active. Could be Events, Champs, a number of things, really.

Yeah sometimes I finish my whole coffee before ULTRON’s sp3 ends

Thats one thing i recommended early in this thread where we as a community pick like 6 champs to be in the featured 5 and 6* crystals

That could be one example. I was thinking in terms of an ongoing basis. Perhaps Champs coming up, special content months down the road like Challenges, a number of things. I think if we had a vote on a variety of areas, it would help include us more.
1- We already knew that before the roadmap. Does not get me excited. 2- They should have fixed Flow this season because everybody said it was still broken. So they took 0 feedback on that as well. Since you have no idea what ppl up there are dealing with I suggest you don’t speak about what you never experienced. Does not get me excited, in fact it disappoints me that they knew that DT failed but they still kept them for another season with a vastly irrelevant fix. 3- AQ changes were already coming not related to feedback at all. Does not get me excited. 4-OMG I am so glad they decided to design a Variant content other than Act 7, how generous of them. It must be very difficult to design a 6 quest content but designing story mode content with extra specific, long lanes must be easier. Gets me disappointed not excited. 5- Increased Abyss rewards are great, I never said the changes were not good. However not really that excited. They never said anything about Act 6 in the announcement so you are wrong about something yet again. 6- Act 6 changes were considered way before this feedback thread where K Miike acknowledged that it on the MS lifesteal thread. Nothing new, nothing exciting so wrong again. 7- Talking about something is one thing, doing something is another. It is also important to note that nothing about RNG was included in the roadmap announcement. Dis. Ap. Point. Ing. 8- We knew CAV EQ was in production ever since Dork Lessons had his interview. Nothing new, that is the issue we have no tangible results other than we are working on it. Disappointed again.
Like I have pointed about many times, roadmap does not address any of the issues raised here. Nor are they exciting. Period.
Actually about the 3,not know how many people note this but i think the change of AQ was already plan even with or without this post exist, Know Outrix ? Right, if you look back his post in Twitter in April, you will see he leaked something about ticket things but not sure what exactly what is it. It is probadly AQ ticket. So I think is a coincidence that AQ ticket and this feedback exist and that mean this AQ ticket is NOT exist in the result of this feedback
knowing kabam making big change in the game like new game mode, champion rework, rebalance,...usually took months, I think this time will be the same because there literally 70+ pages of feedback, and read all comment one by one ( even incude some off-topic comment) sure much time, they have to see what change possible and what not.If they change like all feedback in here. That would change into a new difference game, same name but not mcoc we know past these year
So i will let time answer before jump any conclusion and i hope kabam don't make us disappoint

The only thing that bothers me about that roadmap is that the most interesting things are like 6 months away, and it’s not like these things have only just been brought up. They know we love variants and they know we’ve been requesting a difficulty above uncollected for several months, and yet neither of them are even even at the testing stage because they’ve been focusing on taking everything we hated about act 6 and making it even worse for act 7. Sure they’ve seen the light now but it’s still wasted a lot of development time imo.
Just wondering if there is any further plan to address the feedback in this thread, as it started on may 7, and now it is may 25 ( 2.5 weeks) I know these things take time, but it seems at least a glimpse at some thoughts for future change in response to this could have been released by now.
I understand that there were upcoming changes addressed, but those were changes that were already in the works prior to all of this.
As an end game player who has taken a drastic step back from this game, the longer we go without hearing any of our issues addressed, the easier it becomes to quit the game altogether.
You had a good thing going with this game, please hear your players to continue it.

According to Miike earlier on this thread, we will be getting another roadmap with more information on it in June, though he didn’t say when in June, so assume he meant in June 30th. In the meantime, this thread will just keep on going.

Early June according to the roadmap.
“We’ll have more information on an updated Roadmap, and more changes we plan to make in the medium and long term for you in early June.”

If i had to assume thats when the rest of the concerns will be showed. Like the act6 and crystal rng concerns.
I don't want to jump on the negativity train, but there are some things I'd like to see addressed as long as we're all making our wish lists:
1. Prestige -- it's completely broken with the addition of Cavs. Unless you're willing/able to drop TENS of THOUSANDS of dollars for a chance at pulling and duping the right 6* you're just doomed. I would love to be able to play with my friends in a top 15 AQ alliance and basically had an invite (once I *finally* got a handle on 5* prestige) only for them to basically become irrelevant for high end AQ. That would be fine, but 6* acquisition for non-whales is slow. Not only is the playing field not even (which is fine! I get that spenders should have some sort of advantage), it feels like lower spenders/FTP players are on a different planet. I spend on this game, anywhere from $20-$100 a month. For me that's all I can justify. I don't think that should exclude me from playing with certain friends who can outspend me for prestige. That makes the game less fun.
2. Champion acquisition -- There are way too many champions that are completely irrelevant to most accounts for us to not have the ability to target specific ones. I have duped so many useless 6*s but because I don't buy Cavs, I can't justify buying featured 6* crystals. Even most whales won't get those because they are so loaded up with garbage champions, the risk is too great. It's the same thing with the 5* featured crystals. I'm going back to basics and probably not renewing my sigil because the 5* featured crystal is so hit or miss. The new champions being released are so underwhelming and to stack the non-featured champions in the crystal with memes makes it even worse.
3. Communication -- Please please please have more dialogue with the player base. I know you guys have an open line of communication with the CCP, but that doesn't do much for the community. The dynamic has, unfortunately, put a bad taste in peoples' mouths, probably because of the presentations that they're getting and not allowed to speak about and the NDA. It feels like there's a semi-secret sub community and a lot of players feel under represented by that group. I can say for myself that as someone who has NEVER purchased donations from a merc, and as someone who knows for a fact that there are people in the CCP who have, it doesn't quite sit right with me that they were allowed to know about the ticket system before the rest of the community. Everyone else who went that route for their donations lost a lot of money, it just feels off. It is almost reminiscent of insider trading, to be frank. I wonder why Kabam can't start a second discord server for alliance leadership to have the ability to communicate concerns or ask questions. I can PROMISE you, based on what I've seen floating around on Line, that that would go a long way and possibly solve almost all of the community complaints. If leaders could relay messages between developers and players this would feel like a whole new game.
4. Acts -- I know its been addressed, but please re-tune act 6. The attack and health are just too high. Leave everything else about it the same if you want, but PLEASE cut those champion boost nodes down by at least half. That way if someone doesn't have THE answer they can still tackle the content. I did acid wash mysterio with Star Lord because I don't have Man Thing ranked up. It would have been much less soul draining if I wasn't losing so much health on parries and didn't have to hit him more times than I had to hit LOL x23 with Star Lord. I'd obviously like to see some of the node combos changed as well, but this is just the bare minimum that needs to be done.
5. Forums -- As of right now they are the only means the community has to communicate with the game team. Please don't shut that down by deleting posts unless the content is truly out of line. Opinions should be allowed, and it draws more attention to delete them and have it float around the community than to just let people post and let that post disappear into the depths of this forum.
Comments
6. Looking at making changes to Act 6
7. Long-term discussions about RNG issues.
8. Cavalier is in production.
I'd like to know what part of that is doing nothing.
- A significantly improved sorting system for in-game resources.
- Speaking of potions, they still need to be updated.
- Also, speaking of Champion crystals...
- Gold is still the most sparsely awarded resource in the game compared to what you need to use it for, unless you're grinding the arena.
That's all for now. Best wishes!
Also the actual feedback seems to be getting lost in a sea of a certain users comments (and then other users responses to him) so perhaps stop responding to him?
One thing that has proven to be successful is Community Choice situations. We've seen it with Champs gifted, and buffs, and they seem to be interactive and fun. I think incorporating more of that would be good. Obviously we can't really vote on every decision that comes, but something on a regular basis would be an interesting way for us to stay active. Could be Events, Champs, a number of things, really.
knowing kabam making big change in the game like new game mode, champion rework, rebalance,...usually took months, I think this time will be the same because there literally 70+ pages of feedback, and read all comment one by one ( even incude some off-topic comment) sure much time, they have to see what change possible and what not.If they change like all feedback in here. That would change into a new difference game, same name but not mcoc we know past these year
So i will let time answer before jump any conclusion and i hope kabam don't make us disappoint
I know these things take time, but it seems at least a glimpse at some thoughts for future change in response to this could have been released by now.

That covers most of it. Thanks for listening!
