There could be a FAQ thread so that moderators don't have to respond to such suggestions over and over again... But there isn't. "Here's why we've decided not to do 30-minute AQ/AW timers at this time. If there's any reason to make a change to this, we'll notify the community as to why that decision has changed. Please refer back to this response any time people start asking for 30-minute AQ/AW timers in the future." That would be reasonable communication. Shoot... Moderators are constantly closing threads and directing forum traffic to their preferred "This thread is the dumping ground for things we want to ignore because we're never going to respond to it." like the Character Wishlist threads. Good public relations on forums of this size aren't difficult, but the Kabam moderators are still silent on the matter, which is not good PR (and that's largely what they're here for, otherwise they'd allow the kind of threadcrapping and trolling that goes on in other places to happen here).
As for the boycott, people can do as they please. If I don't want to spend money on this game, I won't. If I want to spend money on it, I will. I don't think anyone's disputing that. What I see being disputed is the notion that it's appropriate or inappropriate to organize the community to act in a consistent fashion. It's the same thing as unionizing (though in our case, it would be a very loose union). It's very telling who's against organization, and history has proven time and time again where power lies in the interactions between individual customer and multi-million dollar businesses, versus the leverage that can be had between collectives of consumers and multi-million dollar businesses.
1)AQ timers/costs so mixed map alliances can play together.
2) Updating weekly/daily rewards
3)New 5 or 6 star arena revamp
4) Nexus crystals- or something to help mitigate the growing problem with 170 champs in basics.
5) Masteries cost
All other things will be considered in the future. They already announced an act 7 revamp so I didn't add that.
I also think tuning down the champion after act 6 legends rewards are done was the right call.
They made a call on gates, they wanted players to have a sufficient roster before tackling the content, sometimes you hear other peoples opinions, and rightly or wrongly, decide that you're sticking with the plan. Believe it or not, sometimes this works out. Removing perfect block teams was important for the long term health of the game. And yes, sometimes it works out like act 6, not good.
AQ timers are because they want you log in to the game several times a day, to build attachment. It sucks when you're already attached though. Alliance members will be tagging you a lot more often to move if timers are short as well. Possibly other reasons I'm not considering as well.
I can speak for my alliance and if someone has issue with how often they're being tagged and it is within what I deem to be in reasonable then I would boot. Simple as that. Its no different than playing map 5 or map 6. Find an alliance that suits your needs. My alliance is AQ focused so if you're an unavailable AQ player than you won't succeed in my alliance. At least with 30 min timers the opportunity to finish early is there. Being tagged would be the least of my worries.
There you go. All of the boycott talk will be deleted anyway so its a waste of time. I would like to go back to the key issued I raised that Kabam could communicate to put people at ease. If they want to wait till mid June and beyond so be it.
Some of the feedback given on this thread will be implemented in the game, why, becuase kabam know it will make us happy and quite for some time if they do. It's a no brainer imo
I'm not sure if I said that correctly but you get the point
Let's give it another few days or a week and see the feedback we get from kabam, *let's just be patient*
The different moderators over time, do individually see different recommendations, ideas, and complaints, but for them to pool it together into something concrete daily hasn't been their job or should it be (6 ish mods, vs. 100k+ players).
Also, good/interesting ideas, feedback, and suggestions are lost midst the complaints, demands, noise (yes, some people sometimes just make noise) ,and unclear path to move forward with.
TLDR: work towards having a better means to communicate specific pain points, discuss, and eventually hear what is Kabam's perspective/position on it.
Eventually, we should have an improved way for us to communicate.
For example, vote which pain points we as a community want to address, and after we vote some up: have a place for each pain point, for only discussion of possible solutions arguing for or against, as opposed to people complaining, not providing clear ideas' pros and cons, or derailing the conversation.

Hope this works, never tried to attach a pic to a post. But this is why people hate act 6. This is 6.2.6 Do you Bleed Killmonger, also has the node where he shrugs off 80% of your bleeds AND heals 5% for every shrug off. I have a max sig rank 5 Blade, with 5 out of 5 deep wounds. After I died, Killmonger was STILL at 27%. Horrible node design. And that's just the second fight lol. The casual player has zero interest in playing content like this. Once I did that fight, quit out, and never been back into that Act. These are the fights that need to be addressed.
They wouldn't say things like "Ok, we're toying with the idea of adjusting AQ timers". They would instead say things like "You've all posted a lot about the current time commitments that AQ places on you. I'll pass that along. In the meantime, what kind of solutions would you all propose that may work?"
Not only does that relieve tension without having to commit to anything, but it also guides the conversion of this thread from a complaint thread to a constructive brainstorming thread.
I used Sabretooth for that line, bringing in Omega Red and KM for synergy. For this particular fight, Omega's synergy let bleed trigger on regular hits and KM's synergy prevented the enemy from ever healing. Plus, every ten hits I scored inflicted an armor break, so no reverberation. Sabretooth solo'd that whole line.
As to your assertion about whether the referenced actions would be happening if Kabam was more responsive, I think you're right, but only because the organizers would believe there was no possibility of success. I think the relative dialog-vacuum creates the possibility of success in their minds. But as I said, the impression I get, and the impression many players have reached out to me unprompted to express, is that players are being told they are being represented by this movement, but most of those players don't agree. And honestly, when I take the gripe list as a whole, I can't say I feel they would be representing my best interests either.
If there are players reaching out to *me* to ask me what I think about this because they don't feel comfortable jumping on this particular bandwagon and they are worried they might be missing something, there must be literally tens of thousands of similar conversations happening throughout the player community. For me the interesting thing I'm seeing is that I'm not seeing apathy. Players aren't saying eh, I don't care. They are very specifically saying they think they should be doing something, but explicitly not that. And I've honestly never seen that attitude widespread before.
I think the organizers misjudged their hand before going all in.
Armor break him first, then inflict your bleeds.
Gwenpool ( Best option by a country mile imo especially if awakened)
Venom
Warlock
SS
(You also have medusa but i think her rotation in applying armor shatter then working upto sp2 to apply bleeds is long winded and you would be better off with a strong bleeder like x23, NF or BP and playing around vibranium armor being down.)
So we should just work on getting those champs....... oh wait champions acquisition is random and based purely on luck
Yeah seems like really good content design having super niche fights with few counters and only luck deciding if you can do the fight or not rather then skill.
I'm assuming the player in the quote didn't have access to these champs hence why they used blade. Hes proven yeah sure its possible to struggle through with sub optimal champs i.e. bringing any bleed champion and working around the downtime of viburnum armor. However, as he stated this isn't fun. If you aren't having fun why keep playing. Act 6 is just not fun if you don't have the right counter and there is too much of these types of fights in act 6. Its very anti-friendly to players who are f2p because its not skill based but based on counters which is based on crystal pulls which heavily favors spenders.
from my own experience I can 100% 6.3 but i can't 100% 6.2 because i haven't pulled the right champs and have these ridiculous gates to deal with. Yeah great how long shall i wait to do that. Its been a year since 6.2. Super fun that is. Also can't even use combination of 5 and 6* champions as part of the requirement for these gates it has to be 4 5* skill champions. I could have a stealth spiderman or NF as a 6* but i am going to have to pull the 5* version and rank them up to use them for the skill path. Again great fun
